The Restoration Home with Jennifer Pepito podcast is truly a gem in the world of motherhood and homeschooling podcasts. Jennifer's warm and authentic tone, coupled with her wealth of wisdom and experience as a mother and homeschooler, make this podcast a must-listen for any mom seeking encouragement and guidance. The episodes are always so uplifting and inspiring, offering practical tools and perspectives to help shift one's mindset in the right direction. It's like having the gift of sitting with an experienced mother and homeschooler and gleaning from all of her wisdom. I am incredibly thankful that Jennifer dedicates her time to this podcast, as it has allowed me and my family to learn, grow, and experience restoration in our home.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is its practicality. Jennifer provides tangible tools and strategies that moms can implement into their homes right away. Whether it's discussing homeschool rhythms, peaceful routines, or navigating challenges in motherhood, each episode offers insights that can truly make a difference in how we approach our roles as mothers. Additionally, the shorter episode format makes it easier to focus and listen to each episode in its entirety without feeling overwhelmed.

Another wonderful aspect of The Restoration Home podcast is the guest interviews. Jennifer brings on a variety of guests who offer unique perspectives on motherhood, homeschooling, faith, and more. These conversations provide additional insight and inspiration for listeners, allowing them to hear from others who have walked similar paths. It creates a sense of community that is invaluable for moms who may feel isolated or overwhelmed.

However, one potential drawback of this podcast is its focus primarily on Christian-moms. While there is certainly valuable content for any mom regardless of religious affiliation, some listeners may feel excluded or unable to fully relate if they do not identify as Christian. It would be beneficial if the podcast could incorporate more diverse perspectives to reach a wider audience.

In conclusion, The Restoration Home with Jennifer Pepito podcast is a treasure trove of wisdom, encouragement, and inspiration for mothers and homeschoolers. Jennifer's authentic tone, practical advice, and commitment to providing valuable content make this podcast a must-listen for any mom seeking restoration in her home. Through it, she has created a space where moms can learn, grow, and connect with one another on the journey of motherhood. I am grateful for Jennifer's dedication to this podcast and look forward to each new episode with excitement and anticipation.

    Heartfelt Obedience with Emelie Pepito

Heartfelt obedience to God and those in authority over us, is one of the powerful sanctifiers of a believer and joyful obedience is a powerful outcome of our love for Christ. (John 14:15).  But it is scary; the connotation is negative, and many of us are scarred by it, or are so protective of our happiness, dreams, ideal world that obedience at the cost of any of these is an untenable prospect. Even though some broken people have ruined "obedience", this does not give us the right to reject the practice or virtue of obedience in our personal lives. Where do we go from here though, how do we practice obedience? How do we train children in obedience while being attuned and tender parents? More importantly, how do we heal our hearts around obedience?  Episode 132 with Emelie Pepito is full of stories from the arc of obedience in the Pepito family, the comfort of God as we grow in obedience, and being the leader you want to have.  This great conversation is made possible by the Peaceful Press! This is a heavy topic, but one that must be discussed, especially as more and more often we learn that addiction stems from a lack of attunement and attachment in young children, which manifests as addiction in our teens and adults. So the process of teaching our children about so pervasive an addiction and giving them a strong sense of compassion, curiosity, and comfort as they face the ever increasing stresses of life must start when they are young. Greta and Jennifer bring so much honesty, vulnerability, and experience to this conversation. They address the extremes of of shame or the positions that say porn, or any other comfort strategy that abridges our pursuit of God or acquisition of comfort in a healthy way, is acceptable.  Heads Up: The conversation in this episode is between two moms, and its content is not designed for young listeners.   There was an audio issue, and the content was too good to miss, but was apologise for any annoyance.  Episode sponsored by the Peaceful Press! At the Peaceful Press, we receive so many questions on how to homeschool your child through high school. High school is the last step before how we taught our children and what we taught them is really tested. Increased requirements and laws governing high school can also make it seem like too bit an endeavour to undertake at home or like our children are going to miss out on an essential part of a high school education. With these additional internal and external pressures, it is easy to abandon a living education and dump our teens into the grind of traditional high school test taking.  It doesn't have to be that way though, and test taking does not equal an education. Join Jennifer Pepito and her 27 years of homeschool experience and 6 high school graduates as she walks you through motivation to keep homeschooling and what to plan for in highschool. There is no size fits all, but we hope this episode inspires you to find the size that fits well for your family. Episode sponsored by the Peaceful Press! The focus is on planning, creating meaningful moments for your family, and choosing what brings you joy and connection. During the holiday season, there are numerous external pressures—from the vast selection of Christmas decorations at stores like Target to expectations from family and the community. It's easy to say yes to everything, buy more than you need, or feel guilty about your actions. Don't let yourself fall into that trap. Welcome to Episode 99. Join Jennifer Pepito on a solo episode about crafting a homeschool mission statement. There is so much pulling at our attention and every "yes" is a "no" to something else, and every "no" opens up new opportunities to say "yes" to something better for your family down the road. But until we have a clear idea of our values for why we are homeschooling and what we want our family to look like, we can end up saying "yes" and "no" to the wrong things because we get caught up in the emotion or pressure of the moment.  This is a practical, beautiful, informative episode that will inspire you to start this school year with a fresh vision and develop the tools and skills to prioritize what really matters to you over the school year and beyond.  Episode sponsored by the Peaceful Press!
