Emelie Forsberg is one of the great trail runners of the last two decades. In the early 2010s, Emelie was a dominant force on the racing circuit, accumulating wins and podium performances at some of the sport's most important races. Emelie was part of the early Salomon trail running team that, in many ways, ushered in the modern era of the sport and she became one of the most impactful athletes during that time. While she's remained around the community all along, Emelie de-prioritized running for several years to focus on starting and building a family. Now a mother of three, Emelie is ready to re-prioritize racing again, starting at Transvulcania a few weeks ago where she finished on the podium with a very strong third-place performance. Emelie has also been a key contributor to two ambitious startups in the sport, Moon Valley Nutrition and NNormal. This is her first appearance on the podcast. Chapters: 02:43 – What makes you you? 05:17 – How Emelie's relationship with running has changed over 15 years 09:46 – Why Emelie is committing to a new 3-year competitive chapter 11:52 – Parenting, racing & what the kids think about their parents' careers 13:41 – Early Salomon team memories & trail running's formative years 16:53 – How the early Salomon era shaped modern trail running 19:22 – Moving from Chamonix to Norway & building a quieter life 25:02 – Motherhood, sacrifice & stepping back from racing 28:17 – Learning from our children 31:55 – The evolution of trail running & the current racing landscape 34:42 – Moon Valley, NNormal & lessons from entrepreneurship 37:07 – Balancing family, business & elite training 40:13 – Returning to Transvulcania after nearly a decade away 43:21 – Racing again without pressure & embracing the present version of herself 46:03 – Lessons, mistakes & rediscovering joy during Transvulcania 48:14 – Anna Frost & Lucy Bartholemew 52:56 – What's next? 55:14 – Hardrock dreams & memories from Diagonale des Fous 55:56 – How Emelie & Kilian balance racing schedules with family life 58:53 – Who is one person you admire? We're bringing back one of our favorite conversations all about crystals, energy, intuition, and spiritual connection with the radiant Emelie Collet. (replay - episode 29) Whether you're crystal-curious, already working with stones in your spiritual practice, or just love exploring different healing modalities, this episode is full of grounded, practical insight. Sarah, Jane, and Emelie dive into how crystals interact with our energy, the importance of intention, and why intuition matters more than “doing it perfectly.” Emelie shares her personal journey with crystal work, how certain stones can support grounding and spiritual connection, and why clear quartz is one of the most powerful tools for amplifying energy. The conversation also explores the history of feminine wisdom, energy work, self-trust, and the importance of bringing more light and compassion into the world right now. Inside this episode: ✨ How crystals can support intuition and mediumship ✨ Why grounding matters in spiritual work ✨ Beginner-friendly crystal recommendations ✨ The energetic properties of clear quartz, rose quartz, black tourmaline, angelite, green aventurine, and more ✨ How to cleanse, program, and work with crystals intentionally ✨ Letting go of fear and superstition around spiritual practices ✨ Why your intuition is the most important tool you have A few favorite moments from Emelie: “You don't have to justify yourself to anyone.” “Rose Quartz is like the friend who always compliments you.” “Your interest is validation enough to follow that.” If you've ever felt drawn to crystals, this episode is your reminder that curiosity alone is enough reason to explore. Men vad händer?!

When Emelie Cajsdotter was eleven years old, she stood outside the stall of a small, unmanageable pony no one could “handle.” In a moment of shared presence, something shifted. The boundary between them softened. She did not disappear — but she was no longer alone inside herself. That moment shaped a lifetime.Over decades of living in close relationship with horses and other animal kin, that early encounter has opened into something quietly vast: a way of experiencing the world not organized around separation, edges, or isolated selves. Through life in the herd, Emelie has been shown a cosmological view shaped by continuity rather than division — one in which awareness is shared across a living field, and humans are only one expression within a larger intelligence. In this conversation, Emelie shares stories that arise directly from that lived reality. Rather than offering explanations or frameworks, her stories loosen what we habitually hold tight — our sense of boundedness, linear time, and standing apart. They invite us to sense what life feels like when boundaries are porous, when belonging is inherent rather than earned, and when the world is encountered as responsive, relational, and whole. In the Company of Horses opens a space to meet the world as the herd meets it — vast, participatory, and already alive with meaning.Emelie Cajsdotter is an author, storyteller, and the founder of Friskeröd, a sanctuary she established in 1995. She lives on the farm with her family and approximately 160 animals, and has been responsible for the daily life and care of the sanctuary for nearly three decades, supported by volunteers and community sponsorship.Trained as a homeopath, Emelie is best known for her storytelling—sharing what has been revealed to her through long, attentive relationship with horses and other animal kin. Through stories rather than theory, she conveys ways of understanding life, time, and belonging that arise from interspecies encounter and shared presence.Emelie has worked and studied in Ireland, Jordan, and New Zealand, and for many years has offered courses at Friskeröd in which other species are understood as the teachers. She is the author of All the King's Horses, Zander and the Time, and Song of the Grass, and has participated in Swedish television and podcast projects connected with the sanctuary. To Learn more about Emelie and her work, visit The Friends of Mio website: https://www.friendsofmio.com/enContinue into The Listening FieldThis webinar is part of a larger collective offering from the Organization of Nature Evolutionaries. A family vision or rule should come from your family's unique gifting, interests, and story. It should be sustainable, simple, and capable of adapting under the challenges and changes that life throws at us. It should also be fun. And while sustainable, it should also be unique, and not so simple that it allows living without direction.
Books shape the way we view the world, they even change how we narrate the experiences of our life. When we read a book with a happy and courageous heroine, we began to narrate or describe our lives through the lens of being happy and courageous women. In 2025, we loved the Emma M. Lion books for the gentleness and joy and whimsy they brought into our lives. We loved Ronald Rolheiser for the lessons on community, and Isola for the lessons in forgiveness and courage. Now, in 2026 we're excited for a new list of books we're reading through and learning from, and new heroines who can shape our character.

Hosted on Acast. Välkomna till ”Så in i Själen”. Dear Mama, It's been a long week of sad news. It can feel hard to hold your heart in rest, to be at peace, and to know how to shelter your children or when to allow them to begin glimpsing the pain in the world they are inheriting. This episode is a little different from our regular podcasts, but we hope it encourages you to grieve, to be the mama your children need in this season, to guard the atmosphere in your home, and most, importantly, to turn your eyes to Jesus, who is our Saviour and our Peace. When we're little, friendships are built around being in the same place together, whether through school, church, or family gatherings. However, as we get older, friendships become increasingly more important and, sometimes, harder to build. Friendships, and the community built around them, are a cornerstone of both our Christian faith, well-being, and doing life well. So, how do we build great friendships, steward the ones we have, and remain resilient and tender through the ups and downs of community? In episode 147, author and military spouse, Kristen Strong, joins Emelie Pepito for an incredible converation on building friendships as an adult, being the initiator, the importance of friendship, and so much more! Ever wondered how independent filmmakers create high-production value films on tight budgets? Join us as director Emelie Claxton and producer Cindy Allen reveal the ingenious strategies that transformed their short film "Doggone" from an impossible dream into a festival success story. From raising an impressive amount through crowdfunding to turning one movie theater into six different filming locations, they share the practical wisdom they gained along their filmmaking journey. This episode unpacks the power of collaboration, the importance of hiring specialists rather than doing everything yourself, and the game-changing "big board" technique that kept everyone on set informed and aligned. You'll hear how breaking traditional filmmaking rules, rekindling old friendships for fundraising, and trusting in specialized talent created a film that audiences are falling in love with at festivals.Whether you're an actor, filmmaker, or film enthusiast, this conversation offers valuable insights into maximizing resources and creating meaningful stories that connect with audiences. Crafty Adventures Watercolors are still keeping my creative attention. Loving it! Knitting in Passing On a July 3 MBTA ferry commute, I sat with a crocheter. We talked about our projects and fav LYSs. I showed her how simple magic loop knitting is. Laura brought socks to her client David when she got back to NY. He sent me a photo asking if they were Cashmere because they were so soft and noting how great they looked with the pants he had on. Then I got a pic of his foot under his desk at work the next day. (Ravelry Project Page) On July 7, a man chatted with me on the Red Line about memories of his mother, sisters and daughters crocheting. Emelyn has been wanting to crochet again but is feeling rusty. On July 4th I reminded them how to single & half-double crochet. Last weekend, they started a star project so we worked with DC and how to work corners and getting used to reading a pattern. Knitting in Passing On Wed night before music rehearsal Megg asked me to help her cast on a Love Bug with Bernat Blanket to practice for school. (free crochet pattern on Ravelry). Yarn has a lot of twist, got all tangly and we stayed after to untangle it together while other cast members performed on stage. On the first night of rehearsal one of my cast-mates asked about my knitting and through that conversation we figured out we've worked together before. She was the choreographer when I was in a production of Crazy for You at a local community college when I was in high school. I wore my Aurealis sweater (Ravelry Project Page) one night to music rehearsal and my friend Deana complimented it and I told her I knit it! Laura's sock drawer! How gorgeous is this?
