For years, someone was tricking publishers into handing over yet-to-be-published manuscripts—from bestselling authors and total unknowns alike. There were no ransom demands. The books were not leaked. The motive was unclear. An international mystery that baffled the publishing world for years. But two journalists in lockdown set out to solve the mystery and uncover the peculiarly obsessed culprit.Chameleon is a production of Campside Media and Audiochuck.Follow Chameleon on Instagram @chameleonpod Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Send us a textThis week on the podcast, Glenn stops by to discuss the Triptides latest release, Shapeshifter, their cover of Spooky and so much more.****Releasing on the heels of Triptides' June 2025 album Shapeshifter, the six-song EP Night Shift arrives as the band lands in Europe for a two-week tour. Comprised of four songs recorded during the Shapeshifter sessions and two newly recorded covers, the EP is classic Triptides. From the dreamy fuzz ‘n' faze of the opener “Pendulum,” to the bouncy groove of “Lonely Planet” and the interplanetary funk closer “Nuvens,” Triptides seems to be dimming the lights for an intimate late-night party, the Night Shift. The EP comes out on Halloween, which is also the date of the first show on the European tour. Leading up to the October 31 release, two singles will prime fans for the full EP: “Pendulum,” out on September 26, and “Spooky,” (a cover of the Halloween favorite originally recorded by Classics IV) out on October 17. Like Shapeshifter, the EP is on Label 51 records worldwide, also home to Mojave Phone Booth, the Rain Parade and Dream Syndicate. Over the last fourteen years and dozens of albums and singles, Triptides have traversed a hyper color musical landscape of psychedelic rock, Laurel Canyon folk and spaced-out jazz pop. Each track can be traced back to group leader Glenn Brigman's unique ability to craft and explore a seemingly infinite number of dimensional melodies and harmonies. With every line of Brigman's airy vocals that dance across the tape and into the speakers, stoners, trippers and lovers alike are transported to a sweet and familiar place, lifted by chiming guitars, hypnotic drums, glittering pianos and hallucinogenic fuzz. On stage in Europe, Brigman will be joined by long-time collaborator (and current resident of Copenhagen) Stephen Burns on guitar and the rhythm section of Tyler English on bass and Craig Jacobs on drums.******If you would like to contact the show about being a guest, please email us at Dauna@bettertopodcast.comUpcoming guests can be found: https://dmneedom.com/upcoming-guest Follow us on Social MediaInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/author_d.m.needom/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bettertopodcastwithdmneedomIntro and Outro music compliments of Fast Suzi©2025 Better To...Podcast with D. In this episode of Wildlife by the Numbers, hosts Matt, Grant, and Randy explore methods for estimating wildlife abundance using both marked and unmarked techniques. They discuss distance sampling, removal sampling, N-mixture models, capture-mark-recapture, and spatial capture-recapture. The conversation emphasizes the importance of robust study design, detection probability, and population closure assumptions in ecological research.Episode Quotes“Marked simply means you have an animal like an ocelot that has spots… so you can identify the same individuals over time based on their coat pattern.”“Distance sampling is a technique in which you take advantage of the fact that things are harder to see or detect at greater distances… and use that to estimate abundance.”“Spatial capture-recapture incorporates where animals were observed and where traps were located… helping produce more precise estimates of abundance and spatial distribution.”Cite this episode: https://doi.org/10.7944/usfws.wbtn.s02ep01DOI Citation Formatter: https://citation.doi.org/Episode music: Shapeshifter by Mr Smith is licensed under an Attribution 4.0 International License. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/https://freemusicarchive.org/music/mr-smith/studio-city/shapeshifter/

Back for round two, Caamzie drops a chaotic Mardi Gras yarn from Aotearoa: pre-drinks with the crew, an ill-timed bathroom stop, a stall-surfing staffer, and suddenly he's face-to-face with cops, cuff-adjacent, and shivering on a cell bench while his past record gets read out like a shopping list. A warning later, he's booted miles from the venue… only to hitch a ride, stroll past the line with a “band” bluff, get spotted and ejected again - then somehow walk straight back in (ditch the coat, melt into the mosh, catch Shapeshifter's last song). The night caps off with a 40-minute wander home that ends at the Airbnb door beside none other than Dylan Frost (Sticky Fingers). One thing leads to another, and Caamzie spends the sunrise next door freestyling for Dylan, Tiki Taane, and mates for two hours straight. Chaos, consequences, and confidence - in that order.#propertrueyarn #NZstories Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Send us a textToday we're going straight for the jugular. Stress isn't a badge of honor; it's a ticking time bomb strapped to your health, your wallet, and your relationships. We've been trained to perform “silent obedience,” wrapping our worth in how hard we work. But endurance isn't evidence of value—it's a trap that drains your life force and your money. In this episode, I call out the cultural lie that tells women to “push through,” “survive,” and “sleep when I'm dead.” I share my own story of hiding stress (and the fallout: emotional eating, overspending, shame spirals) and show how the holidays intensify a year-round cycle. Spoiler: stress isn't caused by your to-do list—it's driven by subconscious beliefs that hijack your choices before you even act. What you'll learnWhy “I'm fine” keeps your brain locked in survival—and how that fuels debt, burnout, and disconnectionThe stress → spend → guilt loop (and how micro-purchases become macro-problems)How stress corrodes intimacy, patience, and presence—and what to do insteadThe shift from reactive to responsive: rewiring patterns so clarity leads and wealth followsA powerful reframe: normalizing stress is like making the minimum payment on a maxed-out card—the interest compounds until everything's at riskIf you're done wearing exhaustion like armor, this conversation is your turning point. We're not managing stress—we're transcending it by changing the instructions your subconscious runs on. That's where your peace, prosperity, and connection return.Ready to rewire at the root? Send us a textWhat if the stress, exhaustion, and pressure you feel every holiday season isn't yours at all — but an inheritance passed down from generations of women who were told to stay silent, sacrifice their joy, and measure their worth by how much they gave?In this powerful episode of The Cosmic Valkyrie Podcast, we're not just talking about managing holiday stress — we're talking about ending generational cycles. These inherited patterns of scarcity, silence, and self-sacrifice are not destiny. They are subconscious programs, and you have the power to rewrite them.Join me, Lynn Louise, Master Certified Hypnotist and creator of the Evolution 10X Method, as we explore how misogyny became survival training for our ancestors and why those same patterns still shape your beliefs and behavior today. We'll uncover how scarcity isn't just about money — it's about time, love, and worthiness — and why overgiving, overspending, and over-proving are actually echoes of old programming, not personal flaws. You'll learn how quantum science and subconscious reprogramming can dissolve these inherited beliefs at the root, shifting your reality from struggle to flow. And most importantly, you'll discover how breaking the cycle within yourself transforms the legacy you pass on to the women who follow you.

Send us a textThe holidays aren't the source of your stress. Scarcity, silence, and self-sacrifice are. In this episode of the Cosmic Valkyrie Podcast, Lynn Louise dives deep into how inherited survival codes—passed down from mothers, grandmothers, and generations of women before us—still run in your subconscious and silently dictate how you move through the holiday season. This episode is about breaking generational curses of scarcity and silence. Send us a textThe holiday season isn't just about lights, gifts, and family dinners. For many women, it's a time when hidden identities take over—identities passed down through generations that keep us over-giving, overworking, and silently burning out.In this special bonus episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on the 4 subconscious identities that show up the loudest during the holidays:✨ The Self-Sacrificing Saint ✨ The Good Girl ✨ The Martyr Mother ✨ The PerformerThese identities aren't festive traditions. They're inherited survival strategies your subconscious learned by watching your mother, grandmother, and the women before them. And every December, they come alive—pushing you into chaos, people-pleasing, emotional exhaustion, and even self-sabotage.Here's the truth: 95% of your daily choices are driven by subconscious programming. That's why affirmations, planners, and “better time management” always collapse under the weight of December. Your brain is simply running old scripts that say, “I must sacrifice to be loved” or “I must perform to be worthy.”In this episode, I share:

Send us a textThe holidays aren't the source of your stress—you are. Triggering? Maybe. Liberating? Absolutely. In this episode of the Cosmic Valkyrie Podcast, we're continuing the No More Holiday Hustle Series with a deep dive into why your calendar, to-do list, and family obligations aren't actually the problem—and how subconscious identities and inherited beliefs are the real culprits. Most women think the stress comes from “doing too much,” but the truth is, the spiral begins in your subconscious programming. If you believe you're always behind, you'll live in urgency and panic. If you believe you're not enough, you'll overdeliver to the point of burnout. If you believe productivity equals worth, you'll never allow yourself to rest. The result? Stress eating, emotional shopping, arguments with family, blown budgets, migraines, and resentment that lasts long after the season ends. But here's the radical shift: stress doesn't come from what you're doing—it comes from who you believe you are while you're doing it.That's where alignment, momentum, and subconscious reprogramming come in. This episode shows you how to stop hustling, stop scrambling, and start creating the holidays you actually want. Why holiday stress starts in your belief system, not your schedule. The subconscious identities (People-Pleaser, Martyr, Overachiever, Fixer) that hijack your peace. Why willpower always fails—and how subconscious reprogramming creates lasting change. The hidden financial, emotional, and energetic costs of “making it magical.”How Quantum Physics and Induction Hypnosis help shift your subconscious lens. What it means to embody the Shapeshifter identity this season.Practical shifts you can start today to create alignment, presence, and flow. This isn't about canceling Christmas or lowering your standards—it's about reclaiming your presence, your joy, and your energy so you don't collapse into January burned out and resentful.Want to go deeper? Send us a textThe holidays are supposed to feel joyful, connected, and abundant. But for so many women, they've become a cycle of stress, exhaustion, and silent resentment—because we've been conditioned to believe it's our job to “make it magical” for everyone else. From the Pinterest-perfect tablescapes to the matching pajamas and handmade gifts, we pour ourselves into curating the “perfect” holiday… and by January 1st, we're burnt out, under-resourced, and secretly wondering why it never feels like enough. This is what I call The Magic Maker's Burden. And in this episode of the Cosmic Valkyrie Podcast (Episode 2 of the No More Holiday Hustle Series), I'm pulling back the curtain on:✨ Why “making it magical” isn't a personality trait but a subconscious survival pattern passed down through generations of women. ✨ How the conditioning you witnessed in mothers, grandmothers, and aunts taught you that being needed = being loved. ✨ The very real costs of over-delivering—financial strain, physical depletion, emotional burnout, and energetic distortion. ✨ Why your inner critic resists slowing down (and how it keeps you hustling even when you want peace). ✨ How to begin shifting from pressure to presence so you can reclaim your energy, joy, and sovereignty this holiday season.

Send us a textBy late September, the spiral of holiday stress has already begun. The Halloween candy on store shelves, pumpkin spice lattes in your hand, and even the subtle self-shaming about indulging in them aren't random. They're subconscious cues. Triggers. And once they activate, your brain defaults into survival strategies that feel soothing in the moment but trap you in the same cycle of exhaustion, overgiving, and overwhelm by the time January 1st arrives. In this kickoff episode of the No More Holiday Hustle Series on The Cosmic Valkyrie Podcast. Lynn Louise Larson, guides you into a deeper awareness of what's really happening inside your mind and body during the holidays. This isn't about pumpkin spice or shopping therapy. It's about subconscious programming, inherited survival strategies, and the identities that silently drive you into stress every year. Why self-soothing behaviors like emotional eating, wine-down Wednesdays, or retail therapy never break the stress cycle. How your subconscious is wired for familiarity—not success—and why willpower alone can't change your patterns. The hidden cost of inherited stress identities: the People-Pleaser, the Martyr, the Overachiever, and the Fixer. How stress floods your system with cortisol, disrupts your sleep and digestion, and disconnects you from your joy.Why slowing down internally (not just clearing your schedule) is the radical reset you've been craving. How quantum awareness, alignment, and induction hypnosis help you rewire your subconscious and reclaim momentum. This is not about managing stress with surface-level tips. It's about going deeper—into the subconscious patterns that drive your behaviors—and aligning with your luminous self so the holiday season becomes one of presence, peace, and connection.Ready to Break the Spiral for Good? The stress cycle has already started—but this year, you can interrupt it. That's exactly why I created the No More Holiday Hustle Workshop. For just $27, you'll receive: ✔️ 3 powerful trainings under 20 minutes each ✔️ Delivered straight to your inbox (no Zoom links, no rigid schedule) ✔️ Tools rooted in subconscious reprogramming, quantum alignment, and hypnosisAnd if you're ready to go deeper, you can upgrade to VIP for just $20 more. This isn't fluff. Send us a textYour continuous hustle has nothing to do with your to-do list—and everything to do with the perspective you bring to it.In this episode, we're diving deep into perspective—and how a single shift in the way you see your commitments can turn a packed schedule into a day that feels effortless. What You'll Learn in This Episode:Why your perspective shapes your life experience more than your schedule doesHow neuroscience proves that labeling tasks as “choices” versus “obligations” changes your brain chemistryThe cycle women get stuck in: Overwhelm → Scarcity → DisconnectionWhy structure is freedom—and how it accelerates momentum instead of limiting itHow to break the myth that “ease” means doing nothingPractical shifts to reframe your daily commitments into aligned choicesThe Science of PerspectiveThis isn't just mindset fluff—it's quantum physics and neuroscience. Your subconscious filters every experience through the meaning you assign. When you call something an “obligation,” your body responds with stress: cortisol spikes, focus narrows, and the day feels heavy. But when you shift perspective and frame the same tasks as choices you get to make, your brain releases dopamine and serotonin—chemicals linked with motivation, satisfaction, and flow. The result? Momentum builds. Willpower is no longer resistance, it becomes aligned energy.Real Life ExampleOn what was supposed to be a “day off,” I spent 8 hours nonstop running errands, meeting family for meals, and handling life admin. Instead of exhaustion, I felt ease and even joy. Why? Because my perspective shaped the entire day.Same schedule. Different lens. That's the difference between burnout and flow. Why This Matters for Women65% of women in the U.S. report feeling overwhelmed trying to balance personal, professional, and family responsibilities. That exhaustion isn't caused by the tasks themselves—it's the internal story of obligation. When you shift into alignment, you reclaim your power. You create structure not as confinement, but as a channel for freedom. This is the path of the Shapeshifter—one who learns to transform obligation into choice, scarcity into abundance, and hustle into flow.Your Next StepIf you're ready to evolve your perspective and expand your reality, I invite you to join my Shapeshifter Signal mailing list. Send us a textWe're stepping into marigold season, and I couldn't be more excited to share this special Cosmic Valkyrie episode with you. Women often ask why I'm so obsessed with marigolds — and the truth is, they're not just flowers. They are living portals into courage, devotion, and alignment.JOIN OUR NEWLETTERMarigolds burn bright even as the year tilts toward endings. They remind us that our brilliance doesn't dim when cycles close — it expands. In this episode, I'll take you deep into their history, science, and spiritual symbolism, and show you how this fiery bloom is a mirror for your own luminous evolution. You'll discover:The ancient wisdom of marigolds across cultures: from Aztec and Mayan altars to Indian wedding garlands and European healing rituals. How marigolds tie to your sacral and solar power, inviting creativity, clarity, and willpower. The neuroscience of ritual anchors — and how marigolds can help rewire your subconscious through sensory repetition and subconscious reprogramming. Why marigolds are more than symbolic: their proven medicinal properties make them allies in both body and spirit. How to use marigolds as an everyday ritual for bold living, quantum alignment, and momentum in your creative flow. Marigolds hold three truths that every Shapeshifter needs to hear:Roots hold you steady, but your purpose is to bloom.Brilliance honors both beginnings and endings. You are a living altar to what matters most. When you work with marigolds, you're not just decorating your home or garden — you're engaging in subconscious reprogramming that helps you collapse distractions and amplify your signal to the quantum field. This is where alignment becomes more than an idea — it becomes embodied.I'll also share a personal story of my connection to the Mayan world, and the life-altering moment I stepped onto sacred ground at the Kinich Kakmó pyramid. That experience showed me that marigolds are more than metaphors — they're guides. They taught me that devotion, alignment, and luminous living are not just concepts, but frequencies we can embody.✨ If you've ever felt like you're shrinking your truth or struggling to stay lit through life's endings, this episode will reawaken your perspective. Marigolds remind you that your brilliance is not seasonal — it's eternal.
Kristina and Anna unpack the Hungry Shapeshifter archetype, mapped to Enneagram 7, the Father Wound (self-worth, identity, power), and the Throat Center in Human Design. They explore how attention, identity shapeshifting, and voice become coping strategies, how this arc differs from the Vain Controller (3) and Eternal Child (4), and how it transforms into the Fabricator (Hero) and ultimately The Present (Legend). Pop-culture touchstones include Everything Everywhere All at Once and I Heart Huckabees, plus a lively “Am I the A**hole?” case that spotlights performative empathy and attention-seeking.Quick guide to this arcVillain (Primary): Hungry ShapeshifterCore hunger is attention and specialness. Masters of adopting identities and stories to secure validation.Pinnacle Villain: The ThiefSteals attention, time, and identity, often unconsciously.Successful Antagonist: The PersecutorUses pressure, performance, and voice to dominate the narrative.Wounded Child: The DefensiveHighly reactive when the crafted identity is questioned.Covert Form: The EntertainerIrresistible at parties, self-deprecating, will “do anything” for a good story.Hero: The FabricatorStops using force, integrates formerly rejected identities, chooses non-violence and nuance.Legend: The PresentStillness and presence replace performance. Time “slows” through grounded attention. How it differs from nearby arcsVersus Vain Controller (3): The 3 works to accrue status and resources. The 7 curates identities and stories for attention and specialness.Versus Eternal Child (4): The 4 escapes into inner worlds for meaning. The 7 samples identities and external experiences for validation.Clinical and energetic notesWound: Father wound, with emphasis on identity and powerCenter: Throat (voice, expression)Pattern often seen: ADHD tendencies, diffused focus and persona-switchingPath of healing: Focus, presence, integrity in speech, letting attention be earned by reality rather than performancePop-culture anchorsLoki as the archetypal shapeshifterEvelyn in Everything Everywhere All at Once: early ravenous sampling of parallel selves, later pivot to Waymond's gentler strategyJude Law's character in I Heart Huckabees: recycled stories for validation, performative charmTimestamps00:00–03:10 Hello and warm-up, quick recap of arcs 1–603:10–05:25 Introducing the Hungry Shapeshifter, Father Wound, Throat Center, Enneagram 705:25–07:30 Specialness and attention as fuel, the cost of consuming others' identities06:20–07:45 I Heart Huckabees example, story-stealing for validation07:45–10:30 The Thief, unconscious attention-taking, “stealing time,” personal anecdote10:30–12:15 Wounded Child: defensiveness when identity is challenged12:15–13:15 Diagnostic shortcut: when someone feels like a 3 and a 4, look at 713:15–14:10 Covert form: the Entertainer at parties14:10–16:20 Actors and open throats, personal resonance and life phases16:20–17:25 Multiple active villains over a lifetime, complexity beyond a single arc17:25–19:10 Hero: the Fabricator, Waymond's non-violence and relational repair19:10–19:55 Legend: The Present, stillness, “the generous present moment”19:55–21:56 AITA reading: “I am an empath,” or attention-seeking22:00–23:26 Real-life example of making another's crisis about oneself23:26–24:06 ADHD, focus, presence as medicine, closePractice promptsVoice audit: Where do I speak to be seen, rather than to be trueStory integrity: Which stories do I retell for attention, and are they mine to tellFocus training: One commitment, one audience, one promise at a timePresence reps: Two minutes of quiet before speaking in a charged momentEpisode glossaryFather Wound: Distortions around self-worth, identity, powerThroat Center: Expression, timing, and the compulsion to speak for attentionFabricator: Hero form that fabricates reality through choiceful, ethical creation, not performanceThe Present: Legend form, a clear, still field where attention is no longer chasedMentioned worksEverything Everywhere All at OnceI Heart HuckabeesCall to actionCurious which Inner Villain patterns lead in your lifeTake the Inner Villain Quiz: [add your quiz link here]CreditsHosts: Kristina Wiltsee, AnnaProduction: Inner Villain WorksNote: Contains light spoilers for Everything Everywhere All at Once.*Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
