Get ready for a wild ride as Kalvin and Chris wrap up Season 3 of Arrested Development in true Magic Number is 3 fashion! They dive into the jam-packed season, unpacking Rita's confusing yet consistent presence, Tobias's chaotic hair journey (hello, parasitic hair plugs), and Maeby's stealth rise to Hollywood power. Ever wondered if Tobias is secretly an albino Black man? The guys go full Reddit mode to explore that theory too. Plus, it's a celebration of the Bluths' absurdity, the “keys” to the season, and one last victorious round of Bamboozled—this episode is bananas (chocolate-covered ones, of course).-----------------------------------------------------------------Follow us on Twitter and Instagram@Magic3TVPodCheck out all of our sweet merch at the Magic Number is 3 Merch Store And learn more about The Magic Number is 3 Here

Michael finally takes the reins of the company, but will he ever escape his dysfunctional family for good?George Michael makes a bold move—literally—while Lindsay gets shocking news that shakes up her identity. Meanwhile, Lucille proves once again that she's the real puppet master of the Bluth empire, and Annyong makes an unexpected return with a secret mission of his own. Hop on the S.S. Bluth for a season finale packed with awkward romance, family betrayals, and just the right amount of maritime absurdity!-----------------------------------------------------------------Follow us on Twitter and Instagram@Magic3TVPodCheck out all of our sweet merch at the Magic Number is 3 Merch Store And learn more about The Magic Number is 3 Here
The Bluths are in crisis—again. Michael tries to save his family (as usual) while GOB takes his magic act to Iraq at the worst possible time. Buster fakes a coma for love, Tobias auditions his way into legal trouble, and George Sr.'s treason charges take an unexpected turn. Plus, we uncover the mystery of Nurse Adelaide (or is it Julia?) and debate the most baffling plot twist—was this all just CIA incompetence? Tune in for all the chaos, bad decisions, and absurd comedy that make Arrested Development the dysfunctional masterpiece we love!-----------------------------------------------------------------Follow us on Twitter and Instagram@Magic3TVPodCheck out all of our sweet merch at the Magic Number is 3 Merch Store And learn more about The Magic Number is 3 Here
Desperate times call for desperate measures, and the Bluths are pulling out all the stops! In this episode, we break down Arrested Development's hilariously meta attempt to save itself, from 3D gags to a shameless celebrity hunt (Andy Richter times five?!). We also dive into Lindsay's disastrous turn as a homemaker, Lucille's questionable fundraising efforts, and the ongoing chaos that is Tobias' life. Plus, we ask the important questions—like how long could someone actually pretend to be a waiter before getting caught? Tune in as we unravel the genius behind Save Our Bluths and the not-so-subtle ways the show begged to stay on air!-----------------------------------------------------------------Follow us on Twitter and Instagram@Magic3TVPodCheck out all of our sweet merch at the Magic Number is 3Merch Store And learn more about The Magic Number is 3 Here
It's wedding season in Arrested Development, but of course, nothing goes smoothly when the Bluths are involved. Michael is ready to tie the knot with Rita—despite, well, several glaring red flags. Meanwhile, Tobias is losing feeling in his limbs (but hey, the hair plugs look great?), and GOB is doing what he does best—bringing absolute chaos, this time with a "magical" wedding stunt that might involve walking on water… or setting someone on fire. We break down the madness, question Uncle Trevor's true motives (seriously, what's up with the lighter fluid?), and try to figure out just how Michael missed all the warning signs. Join us for another deep dive into season three of Arrested Development—and, as always, expect the unexpected! ----------------------------------------------------------------- Follow us on Twitter and Instagram @Magic3TVPod Check out all of our sweet merch at the Magic Number is 3 Merch Store And learn more about The Magic Number is 3 Here

Comedy Night Podcasted Right is taking a summer hiatus and we are proud to present to you our special summer spin-off: TV Makes Sense.Every other week, Gus, Sam, or Matt will pick a great episode of television and the three will break it down. The plot, the cast, the behind the scenes info, or even how the episode has affected their real lives. Because life is messy and unstructured, but TV Makes Sense.Gus got the first pick, and he chose an all-time classic from an amazing series: Arrested Development, Season 3, Episode 2, "For British Eyes Only".You know this episode. All the Bluths show off their chicken dances, even though none of them have ever actually seen a chicken before. George ends up on house arrest and is ready to do anything to escape Lucille's libido. GOB and Tobias team up for a "prostate-tickular", er, a "protest-tacular" called "Free Bird", or, er, "Free Chicken". Tobias ends up getting "buy-curious" about wigs, and settles for getting 4,000 hair plugs. After George claims he's really been set-up by the Brits, Michael takes a trip to a curious street in the OC called "Wee Britain", where he meets the lovely Rita, played by Academy Award winning guest star Charlize Theron. But there's more to Rita than meets the eye; and Michael needs her eyes to check the paperwork to see if George is lying, since it's "For British Eyes Only".So, grab a whole thing of candy beans, and listen to the gang talk about how you need to cut toxic people out of your life: the kind of people that don't watch Arrested Development. Especially if you're going to quote Tobias in public, because people will think you are confessing some deep truths. EPISODE 116: Don Bluth is a legendary Disney and Independent animator who is responsible for some of the most memorable and cutting edge animation of all time. In 1979 Bluth left the house of mouse and by 1981 he was co-creating the arcade classic Dragon's Lair. His true success came via a partnership with Steven Spielberg which resurrected the feature-length animated film and kick-started a certain renaissance. However, by the 1990s Bluths animation domination came to an abrupt end. Jason and Brian Skutle from Sonic Cinema cover the rise and fall of Don Bluth. Arrested Development first aired on FOX in 2003. There we meet the Bluths, a family that's just as much dysfunctional as it is spoiled and eccentric. This show did a phenomenal job finding talent, casting the likes of Jason Bateman, Michael Cera, Portia De Rossi, & Will Arnett just to name a few. And for for a good chunk of the cast, this was their breakout roll. The show was also stylized differently than most, utilizing handheld cameras, narration and attempting to have reality television like feel. Despite critical acclaim, the show did no perform strongly in the ratings and was canceled after just 3 seasons. Nearly 6 years later Arrested Development found a new home on Netflix where they were able to get the cast back together and release 2 new seasons. Will the S1E1 guys agree with the show's initial poor ratings or do they fall in line with its cult following? Listen as they review the first episode, "Pilot".

We're wrapping up our Knives Out series with some of our favorite rich and/or dysfunctional families in fiction that could give the Thrombeys a run for their (significant amount of) money, from the Bluths to the Roys to the Tenenbaums. The mysterious Thrombey house that's described as "living in a CLUE board" also leads us to explore some of our real favorite creepy old homes, like the Winchester Mystery House. Of course, we wrap things up by discussing our results of the "Which Character Are You?" quiz. In case you want to take the quiz yourself. Comparing the Thrombey and Roy families. Mysterious houses. Marry us! Because we're sorting the characters from Arrested Development. You might think a basket of deplorables like the Bluths would all be sorted into Slytherin, but we're as sloppy as Buster after a couple of juice boxes so we may have gotten it a little wrong. Plus, we tricked another person into guest podcasting with us! Or was it more like we deceived them? Tricked makes it sound like we have a playful relationship. Add in some games, spilled veritaserum and wild theories and you've got everything you need to make a podcast solid as a rock!
Nate and Amanda head down to the Big Yellow Joint to score dope for their uncle, learn life lessons from a one-armed man and chat about the Bluths as parents.
In this episode, Michael hires a publicist who he's been flirting with to change the public perspective of the Bluths, who tries to reshape the family. Tobias is sent to Boston to have his medical license reinstated, Buster is not to be seen or heard, GOB does charity magic, and Lindsay gets a job. No one can change the public perspective of the Bluths.
Our favorite Bluth family members from Arrested Development.

Happy October, nerds. To honor this, our spookiest month, we’re gonna be checking out a unique horror film every week. This week we’re joined by Nathan, who many of you will know as Kit's co-host for I Hope You Suffer, a podcast dedicated to some real shit ass horror movies. We're dragging Nathan out of his element to talk about a GOOD horror movie. That's right folks, we're covering 2013 home invasion horror comedy You're Next. Basically, this movie is about a plucky young Australian woman trying her best to protect The Bluths from a team of murderers. Joe loves it! Nathan likes it! Jordan offers dissenting opinions! We're talking about scream queen Barbara Crampton's return to the screen for this one, and a whole host of lesser-known horror movies the rest of the cast contributed to. And because we just can't stay away from the whole metal thing, we have to discuss Robb Flynn's triumphant return to nü-metal alongside his loathsome new collaborator, Vogg from Decapitated. It's a good one, folks. Have something you wanna say to us? Call me at: (903) 884-6533 and leave your message at the tone. Don’t forget to rate, review, and subscribe to Toilet Radio on iTunes so you’ll get new episodes automatically. Or use Stitcher if you don’t fuck with Apple.
Now the story of a TV show about a wealthy family...And the podcast hosts that had no choice but praise it like Mitch Hurwitz was the Shakespeare of TV shows. That's right...it's Out_of_Memory's Arrested Development episode. Christopher and AJ explore all the inside jokes and easter anns that the show has to offer and re-experiences the entire first three seasons. You don't have to do that if you want to prep for this episode but we don't not recommend it! The cult phenomenon is quite dense so strap in for a super-sized episode! Enjoy! Also, Archangel and Psylocke get themselves some cappuccino and crash a car. Even Beast gets in on the brunch action with some morning coffee whilst hanging from a titanium ceiling fan. 7 Years ago, a daring TV Comedy was cancelled after 3 seasons due to poor ratings but a rabid fanbase. After false starts and empty promises, Netflix opted to pick up a 15-episode fourth season. Long-time Arrested Development fans Eric, Lauren, Arthouse Legends co-hosts Jonolobster and Kent, along with special contributing guest Comedy Enthusiest Ramsey from ramseyess.net joins us to talk about the bad, the oblivious and the downright evil figures that make up the Bluth clan.
