They all get downstairs and their son Max is talking about needing a booth for the Christmas festival. Robert says he'll do it. Evan says he'll do it. Linda knows that it was Robert who picked out the gift because it's a lamp that projects the northern lights, something they always wanted to see together. When Linda sees Robert's date, she begins to butt in and won't let them talk to each other. She finally comfronts Robert about the gift thing and he says he's sorry that he didn't have time to see the northern lights with her but he's happy she found someone who can. Evan see's them talking and gets jealous. So he comfronts Robert and a bit of a tustle happens and Robert falls down. Back to square 1. Robert and Evan are left alone to make up

In this podcast the two hosts Evan Fitzgerald and Laura Lundsten on their journey across the United States; Florida or Bust 2022 Road Trip Extravaganza. Recorded late night in a hotel in New Orleans and the two hosts have been drinking, but that doesn't stop them from opening with Laura giving some compliments and insults after a night of music in the air and chaos in the streets. Evan reads some of poetry that he wrote while experiencing the city of New Orleans and Laura can't stop twerking. After a discussion about bags on the side of the interstate, they compare this experience in the city to previous visits and tell a few wild stories from along the trip so far. Both Evan and Laura talk about what their excited for next on the journey, whether they should leave each other, and their wetting plans. US business travel is back to about 50 per cent of its 2019 levels. But post-pandemic and amid the climate crisis, can we justify those quick jaunts to sit in airless conference rooms and sip bad cocktails with strangers? In this episode, Isabel Berwick, Working It host and the FT's Work and Careers editor, talks to Evan Konwiser, executive vice-president of product and strategy at American Express Global Business Travel. As an advocate for business travel, Evan thinks the future is going to be about making meetings unusual or special. Meanwhile, FT columnist Pilita Clark questions whether we should really be encouraging our staff to get on planes given the climate crisis. Both Evan and Pilita look at near-future trends: the new practice of blending business travel with leisure time – or ‘bleisure' as some call it – and why your employer may even be booking your vacation. Both Evan and I go in-depth and explore our unique motives for continuing to run and grow our businesses. Interestingly enough, we come to very different reasons for our work. Murph and his New York rival friend, Evan Reid link back up for an episode as they take the stresses of the NBA and have some fun with it it. First things first however, the only QUICK HIT that is discussed is the breaking news of defensive end superstar J.J. Watt , signing with the Arizona Cardinals. Together, Evan and Murph break down what this move means for Watt himself, the Cardinals, the division, and the NFC as a whole. One major name is off the board for the NFL free agency frenzy. HOWEVER, moving to the juicy part of today's episode. Murph and Evan are randomly selected two teams and together they conduct a snake-style draft of drafting players from the two teams randomly provided. Yes, there were discussions. Yes, there were debates. Yes, it got spicy.... but all in good fun. This draft exercise/game that Murph and Evan did was fun, exciting, competitive, but all in good fun of course! This episode stirred up an idea for baseball season where they might have to do another draft game, but we'll see ;) Lastly, Murph wants Evan's thoughts on Murph's Top 25 list where D.J. LeMahieu was left off his list. Evan flamed Murph on social media, so of course, Murph explains his reasoning for leaving him off. Both Evan and Murph want you to download, listen, and enjoy this episode of Murph's Boston Sports Talk! Listen to Murph's podcast, Murph's Boston Sports Talk on your favorite platform with new episodes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Download, Listen, and enjoy!
Another week of birding with Evan and Nate leads to another round of misadventures. This week's adventure leads Evan and Nate to the Mac McGee waterfowl area on Lake Shelbyville...TWICE! During those times Evan forgets all of his recording equipment, a romantic tryst forms in the woods, and there was an Indiana Jones like encounter with a huge snake. Both Evan and Nate then tackle Clinton lake chasing Little Blue Herons. Here they encounter men in camouflage while bushwacking through the brush. While Evan is fleeing the camouflaged men and dogs, he attempts a shortcut through a cornfield with standing corn. Will Evan make it out alive? Tune in to find out.Happy listening and happy birding.
A bit of a heavy episode this week as the boys reconvene to express their support for the Black Lives Matter movement. Both Evan and Cody stand in solidarity with the protesters marching to eliminate the systemic racism in America in the wake of George Floyd's murder. Resources to support the BLM movement will be posted below. After that, the Decades Project officially begins with 1940's The Great Dictator. Be sure to watch The Red Shoes for next week. 0:00 - Intro 2:46 - Statement of Solidarity with BLM protesters 19:17 - Results from Week 1 Poll 21:53 - The Great Dictator 47:51 - Close BLM Resources: BlackLivesMatter.com/resources/ blacklivesmatters.carrd.co

What balance between traditional forms of association communications, such as printed magazines and newsletters, and newer, trendier forms such as podcasts or online communities, should associations strike? We talk with two leading communicators in the association community about maintaining this balance: Evan Sparks of the American Bankers Association and Bill Thorne of the National Retail Federation. Both Evan and Bill head communications at their respective associations, and focus not only on producing content that their members value, but on delivering that content in a way that is accessible and convenient for as many members as possible. While association professionals have ranked traditional face-to-face events and print magazines within their top three communication channels for three years running - AND printed member newsletters broke into our top ten for the first time since we've run this survey - newer, trendier forms of communication are gaining prominence. Private online communities, apps, and podcasts were all rated at very or extremely valuable by 40 percent or more of association professionals surveyed. We talked about the logic of publishing quick updates and in-depth features on different platforms. We touched upon integrating advertiser content into member communication in a way that presents product and service info without determining an association's content strategy. And we cover how to find out which communication platforms are effective among members and other stakeholders, who should be making those decisions, and how often you should be examining those preferences. On today's episode of Locked On Suns, Evan and Brendon ran through a lot of topics. Not only did we chat about Josh Jackson's breakout performance -- 36 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block -- but also how the likes of Marquese Chriss, Troy Daniels, and T.J. Warren played off of Jackson's infectious energy. Is it time to start Jackson over Warren? Will Davon Reed ever play? It's nearing that time. After Memphis snapped their 19-game losing streak, Phoenix now sits tied with them for best odds to land the No. 1 pick. We also ran through Memphis' upcoming schedule to see who will create distance. In the end, we quickly ran through what's stood out to us so far in March Madness. Is this a worst-case scenario playing out from a scouting point of view? Both Evan and Brendon came away impressed with Kentucky's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.Do any names make sense in a trade-up scenario with their Miami and Milwaukee picks in the mid-first, which are looking likely convey? There are plenty who fit the billing and named off a few we liked most.We should get Josh on Locked On Suns more often for these career nights, right? Learn more about your ad choices. Welcome back! This is the first episode of Season Two, but it is not a typical episode. MATURE content warning. We sat down with Ryan Woods and Evan Perperis to talk about Ryan's recent failed drug test at OCR World Championships. Ryan has admitted to taking the banned substance DHEA but has said he took it accidentally, mistaking it for the approved substance DHA. Evan has said on his Strength and Speed podcast that he believes Ryan is lying about taking the substance accidentally. Evan has said he thinks Ryan took it intentionally and got caught. Both Evan and Ryan wanted to talk this out in a neutral forum. Matt B. Davis of ORM recommended our podcast and Evan and Ryan agreed. We are happy to provide a level playing field. The conversation got heated. This is NOT an episode where your kids can listen along with you. --- Regular programming will resume on Monday, January 22nd with Kickoff Week! In this episode, they discuss what it looks like to set goals for themselves and how they achieve them, and also if it is necessary to set specific goals in the first place. This conversation covers creative goals, career goals, fitness goals, simple daily goals, and the difference between goals and dreams.
David and Evan are surprisingly topical this episode! Evan’s been playing the Overwatch Beta and Firewatch, David’s been playing Melty Blood, and they’ve both been watching Space Patrol Luluco. We’re back for our first episode of 2016 with a mix of light novels (Kizumonogatari), video games (Fallout: New Vegas and Final Fantasy VI), and anime (The Perfect Insider). Topics include the anime-only lifestyle, embarrassing Zelda confessions, and the best damn OP animation of 2015. Listen until the end for a Kizumonogatari giveaway! The hosts briefly talk about Undertale as well, but David still won’t play it. David is playing Final Fantasy VI again, and this time he’s totally going to finish it. Both Evan and David just finished The Perfect Insider, which, it turns out, isn’t so perfect. Twitter: Ani-Gamers, Evan Ending Song: “Blues Machine” by Scott Gratton
After a two-week break for the holidays (during which we posted a podcast blooper reel on Crunchyroll and released the Crunchyroll Holiday Special), Victoria and Evan are back in the office to talk about the upcoming anime they're excited about, the state of anime convention attendance going into 2016, and the 1980s time capsule that is Fight! Iczer One, and Gundam Thunderbolt. Show Notes We released a blooper reel of the podcast hosts' antics during the pre-show for each episode. Both Evan and Victoria are in the Crunchyroll Holiday Special, hosted by the Internet's (now TV's) Michael Toole. Evan's exited to see Kiznaiver and Lupin III Part 4 on Crunchyroll. Victoria is interested in Myriad Colors Phantom World. Final Fantasy IX is coming out on PC and smartphones. Lightning from Final Fantasy is modeling for Louis Vuitton. BlueSakuga released a cool compilation video of some of the best animated shots of 2015. There's a Love Live museum in Akihabara, but it's just a store. AnimeCons.com released their annual list of the top anime conventions by attendance. Correction: "Warm bodies" refers to the number of unique people who attended for the entire weekend. "Turnstile" is the number of times someone walked through a (possibly metaphorical) turnstile, so it often counts people multiple times. Evan finally watched Fight! Iczer One, one of Victoria's favorite 1980s OVAs. Evan watched the first episode of Gundam: Thunderbolt, and he and Victoria marvel at an excellent first-person shot. Correction: The Gundam is called the FA-78 Full Armor Gundam. "Thunderbolt" is the name of the sector in space that the series takes place in. It's a good day for good hips as Evan and Victoria discuss Space Adventure Cobra, the made-up Japanese holiday Good Hips Day, Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie, and the Monogatari series. Then it's question time, and this week our hosts get to answer TWO relationship advice questions! Show Notes As Phase 1 of the "Library Expansion Project," Crunchyroll licensed Space Adventure Cobra and Cat's Eye. After we recorded we also got Yakitate!! Japan, Space Pirate Mito, Princess Knight, and Fantastic Detective Labyrinth! Victoria wanted to talk about "Good Hips Day" and the fan art from the artist behind Chaika just to make Evan uncomfortable. Evan saw Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie in theaters (it's the follow-up to Arise). Victoria is watching the entire Monogatari series (and blogging about it)! Both Evan and Victoria are keeping up with The Perfect Insider, which has recently hit some exciting highs AND some disappointing lows. You can find more episode of Crunchycast on Crunchyroll, YouTube (yes, we're back on YouTube), iTunes, Stitcher Radio, and our Libsyn page. Evan and Victoria return to the orange couch to catch up on the biggest anime news out of Hollywood, New York Comic Con, and White Base. Show Notes Evan and Victoria are excited about the confirmation of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable's anime adaptation. Victoria is bummed that Akiko Higashimura's Himozairu manga about men seeking to be better househusbands was suspended due to complaints from men. Fans held a "Naruto Pride Parade" (as Victoria calls it) at New York Comic Con Ron Howard and Imagine Entertainment are turning Tiger & Bunny into a live-action movie! Both Evan and Victoria are enjoying the slow burn of The Perfect Insider. One-Punch Man is a bit like Inferno Cop, so naturally Evan is in love with it. RWBY Volume 3 just launched on Crunchyroll, and Victoria is impressed with the improved animation. You can find more episode of Crunchycast on Crunchyroll, iTunes, Stitcher Radio, and our Libsyn page.
