Whenever we play the game, Broken Telephone, the message gets lost! God has been living with us, playing Broken Telephone with his character, for thousands of years. By the time Jesus came, nobody knew how beautiful God is. We know from the book of Genesis, from the serpent who tells eve something who tells Adam something, that the truth is lost. Jesus came to this earth to show us who God really is, and it's all good news! Jesus is the telephone repairer! Listen to Xoli's sermon to be inspired and reminded of God's beautiful character. In Xoli's words "I am a Jesus fan, a mother of two teenagers and wife to one man. LondonLive Church is very special to our family".

"But, rabbi, how do we know that the Judaism we have today is not the result of "broken telephone" over the generations? And, were the rabbis going overboard with all the "fences" and protections? I mean, like, seriously? Also: Torah's immutability is foundational to Judaism. But why? Can't mitzvot change with the times? Plus -- G-d to Moses: "It's enough. You're not going into Israel." Also G-d to Moses: "There's more for you than this." Finally: why does the Babylonian Talmud say, "Come and hear" whereas the Jerusalem Talmud says, "Come and see"?

Communication with the team about the product is one of the key skills for a Product Owner, in this episode we talk about two different types of PO and how their communication affects the teams they work with. The Great Product Owner: The Product CEO This particular Product Owner took on the role of the CEO of the product. The PO was able to stand up to ideas coming from higher-ups in the organization because the Vision was clear and articulated. In this segment, we refer to the Create a Compelling Product Vision e-course by the Scrum Master Toolbox Podcast. The Bad Product Owner: The “broken telephone” PO Sometimes, the PO’s become mere “broken” telephones between other parts of the organization and the team. When that happens, the team misses the direction and Vision for the product, and the messages get mixed up and misscommunicated. In this segment, we refer to the Elevator Pitch template that helps PO’s create a crisp definition of the Vision for the product. Are you having trouble helping the team working well with their Product Owner? We’ve put together a course to help you work on the collaboration team-product owner. Welcome to Episode 61, or as we have renamed it, “Episode 1 A.K” (After Kawhi). The Klaw hit the biggest shot in Raptor’s history, and you know we covered everything surrounding the aftermath - including the effect it had on his signature sneaker’s value and worth. After we were finished being giddy about ‘the shot’, this week’s “short episode” turned into a full-fledged discussion on hype and how it has changed, what drives it, and how it’s effected the game as a whole. We also come up with some new terminology for how hype can mold and evolve over the years, called “The Broken Telephone of Hype”.Follow us at:@CanadaGotSole@MisterQMart@Jo_Doooney@LDoggyStyles www.CanadaGotSole.caFacebook.com/groups/CGS.TALK

Time Codes: 00:00:27 - Introduction 00:03:15 - September? 00:05:24 - E.T. Girl 00:30:42 - Bicycle Boy 00:59:23 - Broken Telephone 01:23:16 - Wrap up 01:25:02 - Contact us On the September webcomics show, Sean and Derek look at three intriguing titles. They begin with E.T. Girl, written and illustrated by theplanetsdreamer (and whose real name is Kimberly Kotschi). This is a relatively new webcomic, a mix of sci-fi and fantasy, and plays upon the alien abduction convention. After that they check out Jackarais's Bicycle Boy, a work that has been going on for over 5 years. However, the narrative is well-paced and with incredible art. This is also a sci-fi story, but one set in an a post-apocalyptic future with a cyborg as its protagonist. The Two Guys wrap up the episode with the already-completed Broken Telephone, a unique series of interconnected storylines that become more solidly interwoven as the webcomic progresses. Ryan Estrada is the writer of all the storylines, but with each installment, 18 in all, he uses a different artist or artistic team to express his narrative vision.
Talking about finding new opportunities & improving your work by taking the "not my thing" challenge on the LIA Cast! I'm a doctor, not a bricklayer! – Leonard "Bones" McCoy Given all that goes into being a visual storyteller, it's easy (and understandable) to default to our own realms of comfort and expertise to talk ourselves out of trying new things. Especially things that are "not our thing." But what if trying such things led to new job opportunities or enhanced your visual storytelling abilities? We're thrilled to be joined once again by Ryan Estrada, who walks us through how hosting game shows, participating in open mics, and running parody Twitter accounts opened up new professional doors for him and added to his storytelling tool kit. In episode 6 of Lasers on the Ride Akil goes full curmudgeon and the guys welcome extended member of the Lasers, fellow Montreal rapper and old friend KC. First, Action Bronson producers are dissected and then pitted against one another (Akil gives Harry Fraud the business and Mike laughs). Next, the Lasers talk pubic hair and their respective preferences in that regard, with Akil taking a strong stand on the matter and then making a shocking reveal. Mike and KC broach the oft-disputed topic of organized religion and then KC reveals the psalms of Ash Ra, which are bonkers crazy. The Lasers move on to lady noses and allegiances are claimed. Akil gets angry again, first at thirst-traps and then at jars. Mike goes deep into his childhood to touch on what everyone is dying to know, his thoughts on broken telephone, and finally Jay reveals his hangover regimen.
In episode four, Jonathon, Jeff, Kathleen and Angela read Broken Telephone, an e-book written by Ryan Estrada and drawn by him and a “lineup of accomplices.” Each chapter follows the hero of one story who will inevitably become the villain of the next. In this episode, Angela uses the word “fascinating” like three times in a row, and Jeff does his best pitch to get paid by Wacom. Music by Sleuth. Our next episode will cover Mail Order Bride by Mark Kalesniko.
In Episode 3 of the TradeWaiters, Jon, Jeff, Angela and Kathleen read One Hundred Demons by Lynda Barry, an "autobifictionalography." Kathleen calls Lynda Barry one of her "must-read cartoonists." Maybe by the end you will want to spend some time with your own demons. Music by Sleuth Next episode will cover Broken Telephone written by Ryan Estrada.
For February's Final Friday, Fisch Haus hosted a multi-media, interpretative art installation they called Shattered Telephone. The concept is a blend of the grade-school game "Broken Telephone" and, of similar structure, the Surrealist poetic technique called "Exquisite Corpse."
