Could the devastating Columbine massacre have been prevented? By examining the early signs of Eric Harris's troubling behavior, we uncover a series of missed opportunities that might have altered the course of history. This episode of "Unraveling the Columbine Tragedy" takes a hard look at the red flags that went unnoticed, from Eric's vandalism sprees with Dylan Klebold and their friend Zack, to the damaging altercation with Brooks Brown. The tense relationship between the Harris and Brown families unfolds, revealing the overlooked warning signals that hinted at a much darker path ahead.Amidst a backdrop of law enforcement oversight and secrecy, a chilling narrative emerges. Thirteen months before the massacre, crucial evidence of Eric Harris building pipe bombs was discovered but left unaddressed. We bring you the gripping details of secret meetings among officials who concealed this knowledge, leading to years of public deception. As detectives worked tirelessly to connect the dots, key figures such as Chris Morris, Phil Duran, and Mark Maines played pivotal roles in shedding light on the weapon procurement network, unraveling a complex web of hidden truths and investigative challenges.Alongside FBI Agent Dr. Fusilier, we explore the intricate psychological profiles of Harris and Klebold, delving into their journals and basement tapes to understand their motives. Eric's writings reveal a calculated hatred, while Dylan's entries paint a picture of internal turmoil and depression. Through this lens, we ponder the rare circumstances where anger and depression explode into violence. This episode promises an insightful journey into the minds of the Columbine killers, offering a deeper understanding of the tragic events and what might drive seemingly ordinary individuals to commit such heinous acts.Send us a text Support the show

The C.O.W.S. hosts the 6th study session on Dave Cullen's COLUMBINE. On April 20, 1999, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold killed 13 people and injured 24 more at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. This week, we continue our exploration of Cullen's narrative of the events leading up to the massacre, the motivations of the White killers, and the aftermath of the tragedy. The teen duo apparently had contact with enforcement officers well in advance of the shooting. Last week, we learned more details about the unjust networking of the Jefferson County sheriff's department. High ranking White officials conferenced to discuss how they would deceive the public (and the shooting victims) about records of a neglected search warrant against Eric Harris for the alleged construction of pipe bombs and threatening to kill Brooks Brown. The search was never executed. Brooks' mother, Judy, told the New York Times she'd reported Eric to the police 15 times. Cullen also details how Eric's father, Wayne, felt he and his wife were victims of Judy Brown's grousing about their mischievous child. Tellingly, Mr. Harris wrote down that Eric had learned his lesson about haranguing the Browns. However, he crossed this out, and replaced it with: "Eric not at fault." #Cronyism #Nepotism #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#

Brooks Brown is the Founder and CEO of NOR. In this episode of The Edge Podcast, we interview a creative with 18 years of experience working on some of the most iconic brands and franchises in the world, including Avatar and Star Wars. After an illustrious career at places like LucasArts and James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment working with AAA console and mobile game studios, Brooks has set his sights on reimagining game with a greater sense of "permanence," or as he puts it, where "death and winning matter again..." Despite pushback from legacy gamers on crypto and NFTs, Brooks believes Web3 is the key to unlocking a world of gaming he's always dreamed of--where there's real skin in the game, where anyone is truly free to play and rise up through the ranks. Similar to professional sports, but where everything is on the line. For example, an NFT that represents all your winnings, stats, and reputation lost to your competitor in a final match! We talk about what's broken in gaming today, why monetization isn't the enemy, and how NOR is designing a gaming platform to truly test the grit of its players each season, as they compete on a playing field that more closely mirrors the highest level of competition in professional sports. Bob Cooney and Brooks Brown of Starbreeze Studios, the game developer behind the successful Payday series, speak at VR Los Angeles. Brown and the company built an extremely high-end headset, the Star VR. Brown and Cooney talk about the catching up the industry needs to do, how the promise of VR was made over 30 years ago and the pressure that companies are feeling to deliver on that promise. Brown argues that there is exciting content for VR out there, but the problem is curating it and making it accessible to the masses.

Skolskjutningen på Columbine High School

Domedagen kallade de den för, dagen då Columbine High School skulle explodera. Tonåringarna Eric Harris och Dylan Klebold hade planerat allt in i minsta detalj.
