The ruling class and radical left used to be on opposite sides. Not anymore. They've found a common enemy and they're working together to dismantle both. This isn't conspiracy. This is documented. And Catholic men need to hear it.James sits down with Bill Donohue, President and CEO of the Catholic League, to break down his latest book Christianity in the Crosshairs: Ruling Class and Radicals Find a Common Enemy. Bill pulls no punches. He connects the dots between COVID lies, gender ideology, the assault on parental rights, and a decades-long strategy to replace your authority over your children with the state's.If you lived through the COVID lockdowns, watched churches shut down while BLM protests were cheered on, and felt something was deeply wrong, Bill explains why you were right. This isn't about politics. It's about power. And the goal has always been to get inside your head, neutralize the family, and make you dependent on institutions that despise what you believe. He is direct, unapologetic, and backed by decades of research.

Today’s Topics: 1) Gospel – John 6:1-15 – Jesus went across the Sea of Galilee. A large crowd followed Him, because they saw the signs He was performing on the sick. Jesus went up on the mountain, and there He sat down with His disciples.  The Jewish feast of Passover was near. When Jesus raised His Eyes and saw that a large crowd was coming to Him, He said to Philip, “Where can we buy enough food for them to eat?” He said this to test him, because He Himself knew what He was going to do. Philip answered Him, “Two hundred days’ wages worth of food would not be enough for each of them to have a little.” One of His disciples, Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, said to Him, “There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish; but what good are these for so many?” Jesus said, “Have the people recline.”  Now there was a great deal of grass in that place.  So the men reclined, about five thousand in number. Then Jesus took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed them to those who were reclining, and also as much of the fish as they wanted. When they had had their fill, He said to His disciples, “Gather the fragments left over, so that nothing will be wasted.” So they collected them, and filled twelve wicker baskets with fragments from the five barley loaves that had been more than they could eat. When the people saw the sign He had done, they said, “This is truly the Prophet, the One Who is to come into the world.”  Since Jesus knew that they were going to come and carry Him off to make Him king, He withdrew again to the mountain alone. Bishop Sheen quote of the day 2, 3, 4) Bill Donoghue, President of the Catholic League joins Terry to discuss his book: Christianity in the Crosshairs: Ruling Class and Radicals Find a Common Enemy https://tanbooks.com/products/books/christianity-in-the-crosshairs-ruling-class-and-radicals-find-a-common-enemy/?srsltid=AfmBOooJqkZlldE3Ghason-vxlmpnBayYWuv21Z4EexG-ZGMNS19wHqK

Nationally, the Senate voted down a measure to reopen the Department of Homeland Security amid a partial government shutdown, and the Senate overwhelmingly passed a bipartisan housing affordability bill that faces uncertainty in the House as Trump urges prioritizing the SAVE Act. Always feisty. Always blunt. The Catholic League's president, Bill Donohue, is not terribly fond of New York City's new Mayor, Zohran Mamdani. And it's not because Mayor Mamdani is Muslim. He doesn't care about that. What he cares about is the observation that Mamdani has excluded traditional religious practices, specifically, Judeo-Christian heritage. On this episode of the Lighthouse Faith podcast, Donohue unleashes a laundry list of complaints he's logged that prove his points. He also has some words for the state of Catholic higher education and how he believes they're moving from traditional Christian values to adopt a more secular agenda. Believe him or not, Bill Donohue always does his homework and has the facts to back up his claims. The Epstein files have finally started to drip out, and the early reactions are already something to behold. This week, Frank and Dan wade into the bizarre rhetorical contortions spilling out of the right-wing media sphere—from Megyn Kelly's head-scratching attempt to "reframe" things to the Catholic League charging in with one of the most offensive defenses imaginable. We also look at Catholic clergy in Chicago suing ICE for blocking access to detained migrants, and the Vatican's "generous" decision to return 62 Indigenous artifacts to First Nations communities in Canada. Meanwhile, Ken Paxton is threatening schools that won't put the Ten Commandments in every classroom, and the UK Supreme Court finally calls out mandatory religious education in Northern Ireland schools for what it is: Christian indoctrination. To close things out, we talk about gratitude and how atheists can navigate Thanksgiving without a divine recipient of their thankfulness. We look at a concerning aspect of the LifeWise Academy's curriculum, which has been accused of promoting anti-Semitic teachings to children. We look at specific examples from the curriculum that seem to frame Jewish individuals as antagonists in the narrative surrounding Jesus Christ. Is it appropriate to be teaching such material to impressionable young minds, reinforcing harmful stereotypes rather than promoting understanding or compassion?Next we talk about an officer with the Toledo Fire Department who was terminated for voicing indifference following the murder of conservative figure Charlie Kirk. The action raises broader concerns about free speech and political expression, especially considering that conservative ideologies often cry foul over cancellation when they face criticism or consequences for their statements.Updating the ongoing Epstein saga, we've shifted into a phase where discussions on the age of victims have become disturbingly prevalent. This has reignited arguments about the nuances of consent as some right-wing figures attempt to minimize the severity of allegations connected to Epstein by suggesting distinctions between minors and young adults. We call out the moral bankruptcy of these arguments and the vast historical context surrounding the harmful trope of blaming individuals instead of the systemic issues that allow for such abuses. So of course the Catholic League wants to get on the age of the victim bandwagon. We also add the voice of Rebecca Watson who takes the rich and powerful to task over the child abuse and trafficking detailed in the Epstein case especially as it touches some of the people in the science and freethought movement.Full Show Notes & Links UsedSend us a textSupport the showSubscribe to our free newsletterCheck out our MerchFollow us on BlueskyFind us on Twitter(for now) Find us on InstagramFind us on Counter SocialFind us on Mastadon
