Vörigen Dünnersdag is in Dänemark 'n dooden Waal strand‘, ne – 'n Puckelwaal. Urlaubers hebbt em entdeckt. Un as sick dat rutstellt hett, weer dat de Waal, denn se vör Poel rett‘ hebbt, üm em in de Nordsee to bring‘. As sick wieder rutstellt hett, wull he dat gor ni, denn he is in de Ostsee trüchschwummen. Denn hett man overs doch so'n poor Minschen moken loten, weil de ganze Tüünkrom vun twee Lüüd finanzeert wurr, för de Geld keen groote Rull speelt. Walter Gunz hett achteran seggt, dat he jedertied weller so veel Geld utgeeven wurr, üm 'n Waal to hölpen. Na denn man to. Jedet Johr strand‘ mehr as 2000 Waale un Delfine. Dor is Gunz sien poor Hunnert Millioon licht mang Niejohr Enn Februar los. Wat 'n verrückted Politikum ut de ganze Sook worrn is, ne. In düssen Sinn

In our season 5 premiere, Chad Rummel, M.Ed, CAE, executive director of the Council for Exceptional Children, joins hosts Colby Horton and Frank Humada to share his journey from rural Kansas to leading a mission-driven association. With a background in teaching high school journalism and accounting, Rummel reflects on how educators who believed in him shaped both his career path and his leadership philosophy. Today, he brings that same mindset to his role at CEC, focusing on developing strengths in staff and volunteers, creating space for new ideas, and aligning leadership around a shared purpose. He also discusses practical shifts in governance, including restructuring board meetings around “mega issues” to prioritize meaningful conversation over routine reporting. Rummel shares how he hires for mission alignment, why that connection is visible to members, and how Universal Design for Learning informs a more inclusive approach to serving diverse member needs.
May we resolve to live not by lies, political correctness, wokeness, or ‘repressive tolerance‘ by any name. May we live by the Truth alone, and may God have mercy on us. Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small. In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to. — Theodore Dalrymple (Anthony Daniels) Frontpage Magazine interview (August 31, 2005) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. — Romans 10:8-13 KJV Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. — John 14:6 KJV Links Videos / Clips [x] = Played Triggered! In 1969, a Picasso painting titled Portrait of a Woman and Musketeer vanished from Logan International Airport's loading dock in Boston and ended up in the home of Merrill “Bill” Rummel, a forklift operator. Unaware of its contents, Rummel took the crate home, later discovering that it contained the painting and hiding it in his closet. As the missing Picasso drew the attention of the FBI and the Winter Hill Gang, Rummel and his fiancée panicked. Could this accidental Picasso thief avoid both the mob and the FBI?What happened next was a sort of reverse heist. Stealing this painting was easy—it was actually an accident. The tricky part was devising a foolproof plan to return it without getting arrested or killed. This book, co- authored by Whit Rummel Jr. and best-selling author and art crime expert Noah Charney, tells the full story and looks at incidents of art theft in the United States, putting this quirky crime into context.ABOUT THE AUTHOR:Whit Rummel Jr. is an award-winning screenwriter and film maker. After graduating with a Master's in Film from Boston University, he began his career as a documentarian. His first project, TATOO, was a quirky 16mm film about heavily tattooed people that aired nationally on the PBS series, Independent Focus. He went on to establish WHITCOM Associates, a Boston-based production house specializing in innovative programming for corporate and commercial clients. His first screenplay, Secret Boy, was awarded the Nicholl Fellowship from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He was contracted by Disney Toon studios to script an animated feature calls Pigs Might Fly.

In celebration of Women's History Month, this episode is about four lesser-known goddesses of the ancient Egyptian afterlife whose primary roles were to protect, nourish, and occasionally punish those within the city of the dead. While famous deities often dominate pop culture, these four goddesses offer a unique window into how the Egyptians viewed the natural world and the social roles of mortal women. Discover the stories and archaeological footprints of Imentet who was the personification of the West; Khefethernebes and Meretseger who were both from the Theban Necropolis; and Hapetnebes from the Abydan Necropolis. From the royal tombs to the graffiti of tomb builders, this episode traces how the divine feminine provided a sense of security for both the physical body and the soul on its journey through the Duat.
How to survive the Kelter-Universum).
