Have you ever caught yourself staring at someone else's life, wondering where you went off track? Today's journey through the podcast is all about counteracting the often invisible drain of comparison. We'll examine why it's essential to refocus our attention from the shimmering end results others flaunt to the everyday grind and integrity that truly shape success. As your host, I share personal breakthroughs on the road to understanding that excelling in one area might mean cutting back in another. Throughout the episode, we navigate the challenge of redefining greatness, not as a single moment of triumph but as a series of choices that bring harmony to all corners of our existence. This expedition through self-reflection and societal pressures further contemplates how we set our own pace, recognizing that our race is a marathon marked by individual milestones and values. I dive into the art of sifting through torrents of advice and curated online personas to find what's genuinely applicable to our unique situations. Without any guests to interrupt our intimate discourse, we tackle the imperative of customizing our content consumption and the power in celebrating the paths we've chosen—be it entrepreneurship interwoven with family commitments or the pursuit of personal interests. Join me and be empowered to enhance your freedom, elevate your lifestyle, and fully appreciate the richness of your life's tapestry.Thank you for listening! In this episode, Cindy Esliger talks about the pivotal role feedback plays in professional growth. However, while constructive feedback is important, it's equally important to learn how to navigate the critiques and understand who is offering the feedback. Not everyone will have our best interests at heart, so how can we learn to be more self-reliant and critical in assessing feedback? The mutual exchange of constructive feedback is key to innovation and collaboration in the workplace. It lays the groundwork for growth and success. The challenge lies in distinguishing between well-intentioned feedback and feedback that has ulterior motives behind it. Cindy discusses the importance of trusting our instincts and learning not to constantly need external validation to make our decisions. When we receive unwarranted negative criticism, it's key not to internalize that negativity. Cindy shares five tips for navigating harmful criticism: 1. Pause and reflect, 2. Seek clarification, 3. Focus on the constructive elements, 4. Engage trusted advisors, and 5. Learn to disregard. She elaborates on how to put these tips into action and discusses how to develop a strong positive self-image, one that bolsters confidence. Consider the Source - That's the main topic In today's episode of Confidently Cherished Podcast hosted by Keshia Rice, Hypnotherapist and Dating Coach. She explores the significance of scrutinizing the origins of information – whether it's from your personal life, online platforms, social media, or even your role models. Remember, the accuracy of the message is key before embracing, sharing, or making decisions based on it. Ignite a healthier love life and fortified relationships by being mindful of your sources.
There is one final source to whom we must go to evaluate all our beliefs, doctrines, and personal opinions: the Lord Jesus Christ! He is the only person qualified to help us understand God's true intentions. When He becomes our source, confusion evaporates; the veil is removed from our minds. We see clearly! Join me this week in CyberChurch as we consider the final authority on all things. This will give us a new way to understand the purpose of the law and how it has been misinterpreted, misused, and misapplied since Moses brought Israel out of Egypt. I want to take you directly to the only source!

BONUS EXTENDED SUPER DUPER AWESOME EPISODE Taking a step away from the 22-25 minute format, the No More Leadership BS podcasters fully utilized our time with Devin Weeks. Devin is a reporter and photojournalist for The Coeur d'Alene Press. The episode does discuss journalism and also makes the clear connection into leadership. Think about a time you had to give your boss bad news. Not like, "Jeff is late again," or "Jeff can't find the meeting link," or "I'm not saying Sam didn't eat all of the monster cookies but there's no more and the container is in the trash." Bad news like not making numbers for the quarter or bad news like losing a portion of the market. Bad news that is objectively not good AND objectively accurate. But your boss isn't having it. They argue and debate and deny and never really come to grips with the fact that things just went poorly. To you, in your role, how important is it to have quality and accurate data? Would you tolerate anything less? As a leader, how do you react to bad news... frustration with the situation, or an attack on the facts? Effective leaders want quality data, but not everyone in a leadership position is effective. Join is as we explore the importance of having good information and how to respond when the data, or the source, is contested by someone who will be acting on that information.

One the skills necessary for navigating modern life is the ability to discern between reliable and unreliable sources of information. As a church, we have committed ourselves to the Bible, but is that a wise choice? Is the Bible reliable or is it just a product of human imagination? In this study on Galatians 1:11-24, we'll examine where the apostle Paul claims to have received his message. September 11, 2022
There are many ways we can avoid damaging the relationships around us. Pastor Robey Barnes teaches out of James 3, showing us different types of cursing words and how they can affect those around us.
At times, we base our values on society, our imagination, or our rebellious spirit. However, those values are subject to change, so it's important for us to consider the source. Everyone is a part and parcel of a Supreme Divine Being. Rather than compartmentalizing, let's integrate spiritual values in all aspects of our lives. We are meant to carry out the duties of this lifetime within the context of our eternal identity.
