What is up everyone, welcome to another episode of the Sawdust Nation Podcast, my $500 dollar shop edition where the guys talk jigs. Mind you based on the shop layout they gave two episodes ago, there had to be some random "pay days" to fund bought jigs and also some talk on basic plywood jigs. It seems there are many jigs that can be bought or made and many are actually hard to describe when it comes to custom made jigs in the shop. Moral of the story, YouTube is your friend! A lot of the hand made jigs we have made have come from YouTube and other sources within the inter-webs. So give this episode a listen, and if you get confused (Naps portion lol) then look it up on the web! Hope you enjoy the episode, give us some ideas and feedback and with that SAWDUST NATION OUT!!CompaniesIncrahttps://www.instagram.com/incra_tools/Harveyhttps://www.instagram.com/harveywoodworking/SPONSORS & AFFILIATESMaker Stockhttps://www.instagram.com/makerstockinfo/SAWDUST10 (onetime promo code)Affiliate LinksOMTech Laserhttps://www.instagram.com/omtechlaser/Follow the link: https://omtechlaser.com/?ref=sawdustnationCODE: SAWDUSTNATIONBrent JarvisClean Cut Woodworking (Brent Jarvis)https://instagram.com/cleancutwoodworking/Clean Cut WoodworkingWebsite Promo: SDNPOD22 (5% off)Sponsors:PWN CNCUsers Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/2993800347512326Website   https://pwncnc.com/Instagram https://www.instagram.com/pwncnc/5% off Promo/Affiliate Code: "sawdustnation981" (Also works for new spindle sets)Totalboat (DM For code)https://www.instagram.com/totalboat/Support the show

Clear distinctions reveal new things about the world. And in a handcraft context, thinking clearly about what exactly a “tool” is or a “machine” or a “jig” enables woodworkers to maximize their shop satisfaction and efficiency. Some folks seem to think that theory and practice are intrinsically antithetical to each other, but Joshua and Mike have found clear-headedness to be tremendously helpful in the workshop. Think along with the guys as they tackle some thorny questions.

Loving your podcast. I am walking through the fields, around sheep, cows, stone walls, sunshine and Irelands magnificent nature. I'm on the Dingle Way. From Florida, I did the Saint Declan‘s Way last week and this week it's the Dingle way. Thanks for keeping me company! Thanks again. I am gliding along with your music. Makes the hills easier to horse through." Kyle Hayes emailed: "I'm very excited that you're going to be at the highland games in TN. I went the first time when I was 12, back in 2001 or so. It's when I got hooked on bagpipes, celtic music etc. I even had plans to join the Nashville pipe band, but didn't have time due to other activies. Now I'm teaching English in Mexico City and found out in May that there are pipe bands here, so I'm taking lessons so I can join them. Surprisingly, the pipe band I'll be joining as large crowds when they perform; there are also a number of celtic bands here as well. Enjoy Tennessee, I wish I could be there!" Anne Lorkowski posted a photo on Facebook after I posted a picture of me running on the beach. She writes: "What a coincidence, I'm listening to the new episode while running along the beach in Fiji! Oh did I say running? My bad, I'm actually drinking a pina colada during happy hour. Sláinte and Bula!
