My older Sister Jenny passed away on August 12th from Cancer. She was in her home, surrounded by love ones. The cancer was extremely aggressive and there wasn't a lot time to prepare. I did an episode a few weeks ago and touched on our last visit. That visit my sister and I played it all out and shared our deep love, recounting the years of laughs, advice and tough conversations. Jenny made me a better man, Husband and Father. She inspired me to find a direction in life, supported my creative endeavors and was a champion of my decisions in life. This was an important episode to me and I had the great opportunity to tell fun stories and talk about my dear sister Jenny. P.S. I met Jaden back in the early days of Knife Talk Podcast . He was a young guy starting to learn about knife making and sending us at the podcast a lot of great questions for the show. Over the years we saw him as a growing knife maker, good guy and supporter of the show. A couple of years I saw that he was involved in a horrific car accident that changed his life. My friend Jared Thatcher is the Bladesmith of Boothill Knives, he and his wife Kylee run Three Daughters Farm, Boothill Kitchen and train and raise world class hunting Dogs at TDF Kennels. Jarrett Morrison from Juice's Jigs joins BTL to talk about what it's been like starting his own hair jig and jighead company.  

Roger is one of the best fisherman I know! Hes the Owner of Schumann Fishing Guide Service based out of Minot North Dakota. When he called me and asked if I wanted to jump in the boat with him to go pitch jigs and place with his forward facing sonar I jumoed at the chance. Sadly, the fish werent as cooperative as they were the previous day. Fun was had anyway! The walleyes werent active but we caught enough Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass tp keep us entertained.
