Buckle-up on this week's IMPACT SHOW podcast as we have an extremely special one. Not only is she one of the top nutritionists and medical experts in the world, we go all the way back to Middle School. Yep. Cynthia Thurlow and I went to middle school (Brick, NJ) together and she has since transformed into one of the top nutritionists, nurse practitioners, and even podcasters in the world. BOOM. On today's show we talk ALL things nutrition, mindset, healthset, leadership & business growth, and we even get a little personal. Enjoy today's IMPACT SHOW as this is just some of what you will hear about: One of Cynthia's quotes/mantras that she got from her late father and lives by today. Her MINDSET that allows her to IMPACT so many people. Intermittent Fasting. Defined, who should consider using it as part of their nutritional plan, why you may want to consider using it, who should NOT use Intermittent Fasting, and a few hacks to most effectively use it. Gut health, why it's such a big issue today, and what you can do to fortify your gut. Some “cutting-edge” supplements to consider (besides the basics) that can help people become even healthier, more vibrant & energetic, and feel better. What is “Cynthia Thurlow's High-Performance Routine” (Personal, Nutrition, and/or Business) that allows her to perform at highest level? Cythia's top “Leadership & Business Growth Tips and Hacks.” What was the 1-thing that changed the trajectory of your career? How do you continue to GROW your following? What's the BEST thing you get to do these days with your business? What's the TOUGHEST thing you do for your business these days? What is 1-Leadership TIP that you could offer our audience today? What does IMPACT mean to you? This one is one for the ages. Undoubtedly, it will be one of the Top 5 episodes of 2025. Heck, it might slip into the Top 5 ALL-TIME out of 414 episodes—it's that good! Maybe I have a hometown bias but seriously, Cynthia Thurlow is the real-deal and she over-delivered in this episode and brought tremendous value. We got a voice note from Cythia: “Hi, Anele in the club. Cynthia here. So, I have a question. I was dating this guy anda girl that I'm acquainted with broke me, but not intentionally. It just so happened that they were dining at the same restaurant that I was dining at. So, I didn't causea scene. I just went over to greet them, spoke to them nicely, and then I broke things off with the guy later that night. They continued dating, got married, and got divorced. Well, the lady and I are still cool because, I mean, it wasn't her fault my boyfriend was cheating on me. And we even laugh about it now. So anyway, she's getting married again soon and she invited me to her wedding. My sister thinks I'm so crazy for wanting to go to the wedding, but I don't mind. So, am I crazy?” Is there someone that you are friends with that constantly shocks people?See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
On Christmas Eve in 1974 a severe tropical cyclone named Tracy devastated the city of Darwin, in the Northern Territory of Australia, one of the residents was Cynthia Gillis who lost everything on that day. Years later circumstances would have her move to Adelaide where she settled in the Adelaide Hills, just west of the city centre in a township called Lobethal. In what seems like an extraordinary and indeed cruel coincidence, Cythia once again lost everything in a bush fire in 2019 that took her house along with 86 other homes and one life. The date was Christmas Eve 2019 exactly 45 years later to the day. In the intervening time, Cynthia was introduced to the gospel message, and she joins Wilderness Conversations to share her story.

Cynthia Cummins sells houses in San Francisco. It’s arguably the most daunting real estate market in the U.S., where winning a 900 square-foot, 2 bedroom condo means coughing up $1.2 million in cash and doing battle with five other buyers for that dubious honor. It’s a pressure cooker where commerce and human emotions collide, and in her 30 years spent swimming in that soup, Cynthia has gained a lot of wisdom about the psychology of seeking shelter. Buying or selling property is a focus for the manifestation of every desire, neurosis, dream or value a human being can possess. And real estate is, first and foremost, about home and its deepest meaning. It’s not merely a transaction. It’s a transition. And – if you’re lucky – it offers a chance for transformation and healing. Her popular blog RealEstateTherapy.org explores the rich and complex narrative behind every home sale and reveals the ideas and guidelines that can make the experience a rewarding, life-affirming journey.
