Chef Dorian Hunter is proof that if you continue to follow your dreams at any age, they will come true. The Ohio native knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in the culinary arts and as she chased her dreams throughout the years, her big break came when she was offered a spot to compete on the reality culinary TV show, "MasterChef" in 2019.  After months of competing in one of the toughest culinary competitions, she was crowned the season's winner, making history as the first African American woman to win in the show's history.

Dorian Hunter of Episode 6 fame rejoins Wise Elders with her husband Jeremy to discuss what an emotion is using the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Model of Emotions (8:00). Dorian and Matt are two LBC Certified DBT Clinicians, as well as DBT trainers and consultants. Be prepared for them to nerd out and informally speak the language of DBT as they explore wisdom, emotions, and emotion regulation. Then, using the Self Assessed Wisdom Scale (SAWS) as a guide, they further explore wisdom more broadly (48:30).

In the year of '95. he started to attend parties, and begun to get interested in electronic music. While he was on one of the first big parties in B&H (when Chris Liebing came in Lukavac) he has got the inspiration for making an electronic music. He just realised that he has some conection with it. Tex Rec started to purchase some software like Reason 2 and Fruity Loops 3, and simply begun to work. He knew, right from the start, that he ain't going to give this up 'cause he realised that he just love to make his own music. Comparing with his beginnings, one can see some positive results and moves. Now he's not working just to practice – Tex Rec is connected with labels which are selling his music. So far, he achieved to issue a couple of editions for: C-Electronics (BiH) / Total Wipes (Italy) / North West SPB (Rusia), and many more. Soon, he shall connect himself with some greater labels like Mixtape, etc. At this moment he's associated with a friend from Mostar (Narcis Jr.) with whom he's leading a group Sound Terrorist Dj'z (STDJ'z). Merged with Narcis Jr. he activated a Minimal Label: CVM-Records (Clubvibes Minimal Records), which is going to support Bosnia & Herzegowina's electronic music scene.
