Good day! First off, we are very thankful for the feedback we received from the last episode. We did our very best to handle a tough situation with as much tact and sensitivity as possible. More of that this week, as we continue to delve in the NWSL mess as well as a new situation that has arisen in Tampa Bay and how silence is just making it all worse for everyone involved.. But happily, we also cover the big win last week for LouCity (How amazing are these guys?) and their clinching of the Easter Conference regular season title. A couple of other topics are covered, you're just gonna have to listen to find out what they are ;-) Hopefully, this day finds you well!! Thanks for listening :-)

This message was preached by Pastor Esther Dlamini during the Second session of the 2020 Revival Life Ministry Easter conference. Revival Life Ministry was conceived in 1989 and was established in 1999, by Apostle M.A Simelane. God spoke to Him in an audible voice on three different occasions saying “Go demonstrate my power and make my voice heard”. This was accompanied by a vision where God wrote the name of the ministry, Revival Life Ministry, and symbolized it in three colors; rich grass green to stand for revival, yellow to symbolize life and white to stand for ministry.

Hoagie Mouth Nation, we join the nation in mourning #33, #8, #24...Kobe Bryant. We reflect on the man, his complicated legacy, and his absolute brilliance on the basketball court. We send our love and sympathies to the victims and their families, as we still reel from the shocking news. We discuss his Philly roots, and dovetail nicely into a HAPPY analysis of the 76ers. Simmons' leadership and growth? Check. Insane team defense? You betcha. Offensive dominance? We still have half a season to play. Onwards to the Flyers, currently on the All Star Break, and we do a gut check on the team's latest victories against the titans of the Easter Conference. Will that confidence result in a second half SURGE? (Here's hoping). We touch on baseball for a spell...but most importantly we tee up our host Jeff's upcoming Super Bowl trip! Hoagie Mouth will be getting some on-location content from MIAMI FLORIDA (wait we like Florida now??) for our next episode - TUNE IN OR BE SQUARE BUB. YKTV host break down there seeding of the NBA Eastern Conference
This week we take a look at the roster changes, important factors and expectations for each team in the Easter Conference ahead of the 2019/2020 NBA season.
Playoffs are in full swing and there's lots of good story lines, but nothing else matters to Preds' fans except Rocco Grimaldi. This kid is on fire and the way he plays lights the team up. Of course Rinne is the backbone of the franchise and has made some incredible saves, but Rocco gets the offense going. We cover all the playoff happenings so far, including Ovi's knockout and the two sweeps in the Easter Conference. Some things no one expected. This is a packed episode! twitter.com/talkingpreds facebook.com/talkingpreds @SobroHerbie_B @mccoy3pm @MJSilverFox
One of the busiest trade deadlines in in recent years could have major implication for the Raptors. We cover the big raptors trade as well as all of the major trades from around the NBA and debate how the Raptors stack up against the best in the Easter Conference.
Corey Parson, Chris Ventra, and Jim Day open the show looking at the latest odds for the new home of Antonio Browm, and Chris questions if he will hold out until he can get a bigger contract. Jim asks why Corey is backing out of the Nets bet he made where he would shave all his body hair if Brooklyn finishes in the top 5 in the Easter Conference, explaining the Pacers losing Victor Oladipo voided the bet because all the teams need to be at full strength. Corey has the Goon Squad vote on whether or not his Nets bet stands. Frank Stampfl joins the show to give his vote on the bet, and also his Jets Mount Rushmore. What's your favorite soup? Would you throw it at someone? Did you find what Harden did to Wesley Johnson disrespectful? And where are Wesley Johnson's ankles?! These are the questions we need answered this week! While we have a bit of fun talking about J.R. Smith throwing soup and Wesley Johnson turning into a shooting stars meme, we also get into the Western Conference playoff race, which is as serious as it gets. Specifically, we talk Spurs (and are they in danger of missing the playoffs), the Blazers (winners of 7 in a row), the Pelicans (winners of 8 in a row), and also the Rockets (winners of 15 in a row!). Ten teams are currently fighting for playoff spots in the West, and we discuss (once again) who's chances we like the most. In contrast, it's looking more and more like the Easter Conference top 8 is set. But who will finish where? And who do we think looms as a sleeping giant in the East (it's not who you think). As usual, we finish things off with our Dude and Dud of the week. On episode #24 of the Hoops & Brews podcast, @Pavyworld & @reeltpj are joined by Flows (@FlowsAndolini) from the 79th & Halas podcast to talk the bottom of the Easter Conference, NBA MVP, Lakers/Bulls Rebuild, Lebron in the playoffs, the Warriors and Flows & TPJ have a heated argument about beer and wine.
David is out gallivanting around the Hamptons, so Ben Baer joins Andrew and Matt to take a critical look at both conferences as the playoff races distill and the red line becomes the primary focus for all 20 teams in MLS. First up, the West, where Seattle and new Designated Player Nicolas Lodeiro are proving they’ve got plenty left in the tank. Dallas still sit top of the table, but could they benefit from a (late) #fakeMLStrade? Plus, who’s fighting to stay alive and why isn’t Matt high on LA’s current form? Turning to the every-man-for-himself Easter Conference, the race is about as clear as mud. The Red Bulls and Sacha Kljestan are making up ground after that dire start, but New York City FC continues to score (and concede) in droves to somehow sit above the likes of resurgent Toronto FC. Which team is the favorite the rest of the way? Well, it’s … uh … you know, if … right, but … fine, we have no idea. In the mailbag, David takes a break from vacation to explain how the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) experiment went in USL play on Friday. Reviews are positive.
The Ducks and Blackhawks are beating the crap out of each other and the Easter Conference teams are sitting back and takin' it easy! Dave, P Mac and Ryan are here this week to talk about the AMAZING series between the Ducks and the Blackhawks. They look at Ryan Kesler's douchebaggery, but also praise him on his intense style of play, regardless of the effects on his body or his career being shortened. They're also (obviously) talking Mike Babcock in Toronto and what could happen the first few seasons, and Dave (with a little help from James Duthie) brings up another way the seasons could go that Maple Leafs fans might not like. The guys also look back at Eric Lindros, the Nordiques drafting him 1st overall, him not reporting and what affect he could have had on the Quebec Nordiques franchise if he decided to report and play after all. We also introduce two new segments to the show this week:"Buck Martinez Doesn't Care About The Memorial Cup" and "Junior Hockey Players Swearing on National TV!" Enoy!
The final full month of the 2014/15 Boston Celtic schedule is here. The Celtics are in the midst of a highly congested playoff race which features 6 teams fighting for the 7th and 8th seeds in the Easter Conference. The Celtics, Nets, Heat, Pistons, Pacers and Hornets all sat within 2.5 games of each other when the Celtics Talk Crew was last on the air on February 26th. Since that time the Celtics played 4 games 3 of which took place at TD Garden. They hosted the Hornets then played at the Cavaliers. Then hosted the Warriors and the Jazz. 2 of those games were against the teams many feel will be facing off against one another in thi years NBA Final's. So how did the Celtics stack up against the 2 teams many feel are the NBA'S best. Did the Celtics draw closer to the 7th and 8th seed or did they fall farther behind the pack. What did we see from Isaiah Thomas and Jonas Jerebko in what was arguably the 2 biggest games in their short stints with the Celtic's. The Celtics Talk Crew will discuss that and all the other latest news from the Boston Celtic's. On this episode they will be joined by Bobby Krivitsky. Bobby is a writer and editor for CLNS Radio and Hardwood Houdini. On-Air Personality & Producer for Citrus TV and Z89 Radio
