It started with a tip from a police source: The number of women reported missing from Vancouver's Downtown Eastside was much higher than publicly reported. A dogged investigation by a team of journalists at the Vancouver Sun told the stories of these missing mothers, daughters and sisters — and created a sense of urgency to find out what happened to them. With the public demanding action, the police eventually zeroed in on Robert (Willy) Pickton, Canada's most prolific serial killer. Editors Note: There is a quote in this episode that states first-degree murder is premeditated and second-degree murder is not intentional. In fact, second-degree murder is not premeditated. *This week, the iLLogical gang talk about Kendrick Lamar's verse on Baby Keem's 'Family Ties' (1:49), as well as the highly anticipated release of Kanye West's new album 'DONDA' (17:11). Later, the guys discuss Griselda's continued run with recent releases by Boldy James & Alchemist, Benny the Butcher & Westside Gunn (49:23), final thoughts going into Week 1 of the NFL season (1:02:26), the outrageous scandal around the Bishop Sycamore football team (1:13:40) and more. *Editors Note: There is an audio issue with this episode that we couldn't fix. We know it's annoying and we apologize for the error.
Zach and Will are back to discuss all news and rumors surrounding the 49ers Training Camp. Editors Note: There is a bit in here discussing Richie James and his prospects of securing his spot on the 49ers 53 man roster. Let the record show that Richie James is still the best WR in the NFL. Thank you, and enjoy the show.
This episode dives into the dramatic shift in American sports in recent years. Athletic competition historically has been a place where political opinions were checked at the door. This is not the case any longer, is this a good thing? Michael and Cisco discuss the strange marriage between sports and SJW ideology. Soul City is an anthology series following in the footsteps of shows like The Twilight Zone, Amazing Stories and Tales from the Crypt, which streams on Topic. The show was created by long time friends Coodie and Chike that decided to set season one of Soul City in the multicultural hub of New Orleans, where things often go bump in the night. You may be familiar with their work having been the acclaimed directors of Kanye West’s Through the Wire music video and ESPN’s 30 for 30 film Benji. Episodes feature Omar J. Dorsey (Queen Sugar), Chad Coleman (The Wire), and PJ Morton (Maroon 5). We spoke with Coodie and Chike about having grown up in both Chicago and New Orleans respectively, how they stay true to their Christian faith and their ability to avoid evil spirits when filming a series that touches upon darker forces from the other world. Soul City is currently streaming on Topic and can be found by clicking here. Follow Coodie and Chike on Instagram: @officialcoodieandchike, Coodie @coodierock and Chike @cozah. Editor's Note: There was some slight audio difficulty with Chike's phone reception, but we managed to get it through to you.

On this week's episode of Cup of Sass, the gang sit down to talk about the past 2 weeks in gaming news. Amid the coronavirus, the wait for triple A titles still commences. Amazon announces the code name of their upcoming cloud gaming service, Koru gives his impressions of the RE3 Remake and more! On the way back from our #2ManRoadTrip to Oklahoma City to watch an NBA game between Oklahoma City Thunder and the Boston Celtics I had a question for Alex so I pulled out my portable mp3 recorder and we recorded our discussion. If you had to pick a specific superhero based universe to live in, which would it be? Marvel? DC? Another Indie realm? It ended up being a pretty fun conversation.Editor's Note: There is a lot of road noise, which I did my best to remove by adjusting some equalization settings. It is still there, but trust me, it's better than before I did my tweaks. We hope you enjoy this super short, impromptu episode!
In the Season 2 tip off of Courtside, KEN SMITH, the head coach of preseason No. 1 Windsor (now No. 2) joins the show to talk about his team and the 2019-20 season and the state of High School Basketball in Connecticut. (Editor's Note: There were some audio issues with the Smith interview and we've attempted to fix as best we could). Rundown: 0:00 -- Introduction and the Top 10 Hoops Poll with Joe Morelli. 13:56 -- Windsor coach Ken Smith. 43:24 -- Outtro
Well, that was a grind. The Clippers ended the week with some difficult wins against the Jazz and Spurs on nights when the team could not particularly find their shots, outside of Montrezl Harrell, who can barely miss anything. Luckily, the team has Kawhi Leonard, and he can right the ship when things are chaotic down the stretch. The team also lost to the Jazz in Utah without Kawhi and had a ho-hum victory against the frisky Charlotte Hornets. The guys talk about how the team looks and take a peak ahead to a tough back to back at home against the Bucks and the Trail Blazers. All that and your Twitter questions on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast! Editor's Note: There was a technical difficulty at approximately the 10:00 mark at which Shapan talked about Mike Conley's ineffectiveness before asking about Ivica Zubac's play but was cut off. **EDITOR'S NOTE** There's an obnoxious tapping noise that starts around the 6:00 mark. Our mic stand was tapping against the laptop, and we didn't notice it for several minutes. If it's too annoying for you, it stops at 13:20. If you skip to that point, all you'll miss is the news and our coverage of the game's components. Spoiler: They're mostly fine. The cards are standard quality, as are the tokens and dials. The only thing that's not great is the insert, which I whine about at length and recap again at the end of the episode. The meat of the review is after that 13:20 mark. Sorry about that, folks! We'l watch out for this problem in the future. *** Welcome to Solosaurus, a podcast about one player board and card games. In this episode, Carter and Brandon discuss the latest solo news (aggregated by the wonderful Frederik Shulz at tableforone.me) before one of the most anticipated games of the year, set in the best comic universe: Marvel Champions! The pride of sinful humanity will be abased. God will remove every good gift which he has lovingly bestowed on his creatures, and he will repay sinful humanity for its cruelty to his servants, the prophets.--Editor's Note- There is an erroneous reference to ancient Assyria conquering Babylon- however, Rev. Veiga meant to reference the Medo-Persian Empire which overturned the Babylonian Empire -Daniel 5-30-31-.
Editor's Note: There are a few audio issues in this episode. Avi's volume is very low for the first 15 seconds and periodically, it's summer in Brooklyn and there are very loud motorcycles outside the window. Dan and Avi are incredibly excited by the prospect of this season's team up episode and then immediately disappointed because they have to deal with two episodes of Sensei and Dustin. Plus, Dan might have fallen asleep, or maybe he just couldn't be bothered to pay attention because there were way too many fight scenes this week. Please rate and review us on Apple Podcasts if you love/hate us!

We didn’t want to wait on this one. Unfortunately with Michael, Tim, and Jennifer traveling we had to do a quick recording immediately following the episode. Don’t fret though. Editor's Note: There was a mix-up with Erin's recording setup for the first 25 minutes of the show, and the wrong microphone was being used. I've tried to clean it up in post, but it's still a bit echoey. If you'd prefer to skip it, head to 25:45 Episode fourty eight of Destructo Discourse, covering episodes 142-144 of DBZ, wherein we are a peanut gallery with feelings, witness some horrifying scenes of psychedelic carnage, and beat ass in the biblical sense. Holly Dunn speaks with a team of designers from HarperCollins, including Jessie Gang, David Curtis, Alison Klapthor & Erin Fitzsimmons. They discuss individual projects developed for HarperCollins, as well as how they work together as a team. As far as Realistic Tactical games go Rainbow 6 Siege is the top of my list for FPS games. 5 things RB6 got right! Number 4 will amaze you! Jk - clickbait. Disclaimer: Adult Language. Adult Content.
