Legendary ABC/ESPN and MSG Network play-by-play voice Mike Breen joins the show to relive the New York Knicks' first NBA championship in 53 years — from the emotional final buzzer to the alumni who finally got their ring. Breen opens up about Jalen Brunson's transformation from a doubted free-agent signing into the franchise's heart and soul, what it was like watching Patrick Ewing and the Knicks' old guard experience the title firsthand, and the behind-the-scenes chemistry that makes a broadcast booth work — including his 25-plus-year partnership with Walt "Clyde" Frazier. The conversation also digs into the wide-open Eastern Conference heading into next season: LeBron James' surprise move, the Boston Celtics' cap-driven Jaylen Brown trade, sleeper teams like Detroit and Toronto, and why repeating as champion is one of the hardest things to do in sports. Whether you're a die-hard Knicks fan, an NBA junkie, or just love hearing how a Hall of Fame broadcaster prepares for game night, this episode has it all. In this episode: Reliving the Knicks' historic championship win Jalen Brunson's journey from Dallas backup to franchise leader Patrick Ewing, Bernard King and the Knicks alumni's emotional return Mike Breen's broadcast chemistry with Clyde Frazier, Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson LeBron James joining Philadelphia and the stacked Eastern Conference Predictions for the Knicks, Celtics, Pistons and more next season

Episode 254 opens in person at the shore on National Spoil Your Dog Day with Bucky. Before diving into recent travels, Erin and Mike preview their upcoming trip to LA for the Tinter Battles window tinting championships, where they secured media passes, and plan to interview the CEO. Erin then breaks down her whirlwind coast-to-coast trip to LA, which started with her binging all three seasons of Ted Lasso after discovering the hit Apple TV series originally evolved from a three minute Premier League commercial created by an ad agency. After enjoying United's Polaris Lounge and flying first class to LA, Erin was picked up by a chauffeur who misplaced his debit card, forgot where his car was parked, and accidentally drove to the wrong Marriott. Erin made her way trinketless to the LA Sparks WNBA courtside game held to promote Ted Lasso Season 4, where 7,000 replica "Believe" signs were handed out, and she met up with creators including Molly Markle and the Bellairs (who dressed in full Ted Lasso costumes). Before the game, Erin hit it off with a woman who turned out to be the global head of Adidas Basketball, explored the VIP courtside lounge and its marble bathrooms featuring mahogany "wet floor" signs, cried during a retired player's jersey ceremony, and accidentally caused a brief panic when she tried to dribble a ball on the court. After FaceTiming Mike and Sam from the court, Erin later spotted actor Jeremy Swift (who plays Leslie on Ted Lasso) at the airport lounge on her flight home. To close out the episode, Mike and Erin share a wholesome "No Bad, No Sad" story about NFL star JJ Watt. After a fan tweeted about being too shy to ask JJ Watt for a photo when they ate breakfast near each other in NYC, Watt saw the tweet, asked where the fan was hanging out, showed up at O'Hara's bar, and joined him for a Guinness.

CMS's efforts to crush fraud in the hospice space have commanded the headlines and the attention of many. Less publicized efforts on behalf of hospices in the federal courts, however, have resulted in several rulings favoring hospices. In particular, the federal courts are starting to recognize that hospices deserve the benefit of the doubt when it comes to prognosticating a six-month life expectancy. In this episode, Bryan Nowicki talks with Joe Diedrich and Zaina Niles about those court cases and what they mean for the hospice community.

Most clinicians think about return to sport as the finish line. What gets missed is everything that happens before that — the off-season decisions, the testing philosophy, and the role clarity that actually determines whether an athlete comes back stronger. In this episode, John Allan, DPT sits down with Dr. Alex Hubelbank, DPT, ATC, CSCS, to break down what elite-level rehab and performance really looks like inside professional sports. What they cover:How the line between PT, athletic training, and strength & conditioning is based on role, not skill — and where that breaks downWhy staying off the court matters: using GPP and unrelated movement skills, like hand-fighting or dance, to build capacity without repetitive loadHow to structure a 4-5 month off-season into phases, from lowest-hanging fruit to sport-specific prepWhy testing every 4-6 weeks beats chasing constant data, and the question to ask before every test: am I testing for me, or for their care plan?Reading context — sleep, nutrition, life stress — before deciding whether a testing day is even worth runningBuilding trust and credibility with professional athletes when the stakes, and the scrutiny, are highestIf you've ever wondered what separates a good off-season from a great one, this episode reframes how elite performance is actually built, one deliberate decision at a time.Social Media:Rehab2PerformR2P AcademyDr. Alex Hubelbank

New York Knicks games are all the rage and their fans are brutal. Karmelo Anthony verdict and fallout, Nick Reiner nepo-greed, ESPN shakeup, Jim's Picks: Metallica, and we survive power outages on this extremely stormy day. Drew lost power today due to all this crazy weather. Karmelo Anthony has been found guilty of murdering Austin Metcalf (who did NOT die in his twin brother's arms). He got 35 years in the slammer. This event has a lot of people divided. Cardi B still has his back. George Zimmerman is an artist now. Bloop. Aaron Imholte of the Steel Toe Morning Show begs for money every day. NBA Finals: Charles Barkley made a Cardi B joke. Knicks fans are being really mean to Spurs fans. Donald Trump went to Game 3. DJ Khaled spent the game on his cell phone. Other Sports: The Tigers broadcast loves rain delays. The Bears are leaving Chicago. Nick Reiner wants his inheritance. Sure, he murdered his parents in cold blood, but he really needs their money for a lawyer. Alan Jackson is a good lawyer... when you can afford him. Texas Tech's Brendan Sorsby has been granted an injunction and will play in 2026. More layoffs for ESPN. Pat McAfee is set to get PAID. Jim's Picks: Best Metallica Songs. Drew is not a fan of Tom Rizz or his content. Grandmothers must submit to 1st Amendment rights. Crispin Glover is fighting allegations that he had a 'sex slave'. He's always pretty crazy. Bari Weiss is set to take over everything following the Paramount - Warner Bros. merger. Scott Pelley still looks smug. We might have some merch left. Click here to check what's available.
