Having started his career 4 years ago in Bristol, 22 y/o Nomad relocated at the end of 2017 to Berlin, and has since spent 2018 slugging the quintessential Bristol sound upon the masses of the German capital. Inspired by the likes of DLR, Alix Perez, Arkaik & Amoss, Nomadʼs signature is rolling waves of ethereal pads accompanied by the sluggish undercurrents of thick throbbing bass. This year he had the opportunity several times to play at the famed Berlin Cassiopeia club and saw him releasing on FUCK ABOUT! DnB and Ambush Audio. 2018 also saw the conception and rise of “FUCK ABOUT! Drum & Bass”, a Bristol-based club night & record label co-founded by Nomad alongside fellow DJʼs Analogue, Grax & Tactician. Rising from out of nowhere, FUCK ABOUT! has seen a string of successful nights beginning featuring the likes of Shyun, Data 3, Revaux, Javano. Their launch of the label also found great success in June with their debut on “Cluster Fuck 001”, featuring Spokeʼs track “Knock Off” which peaked at #4 on the Hypeddit charts & has now reached over 12K plays on Soundcloud. “Cluster Fuck 002” is due for release by the end of the year and the label has a host of exciting releases lined up for 2019 including EPs from Javano, Dedman & Koax.
