In this episode of the Spirit Led podcast, Furio Sclano shares his journey with Kriya Yoga and lessons learned with his guru Roy Eugene Davis. Furio reveals how Mr. Davis taught him to remain focused on the spiritual path and to trust the benevolent power nurturing the universe. Through stories of his own life, his advice from Roy Eugene Davis, and his study of the Kriya gurus' writings, Furio provides valuable insights into how to be successful on the spiritual path and in life. Key Themes & Memorable Moments: Many moments of grace: From finding Roy Eugene Davis through a randomly chosen video to blessings encountered after his home burned down to a good samaritan returning his lost cash, Furio has learned not to be afraid of the unknown. Practical lessons from Roy Eugene Davis: Among others…motivation comes from within, keep the teachings pure, and maintain your integrity. Favorite quotes! “When you have to face a challenging situation, and you don't know what to do, just be faithful about the fact that the superior intelligence, which is inside and outside of you at the same time, will take care of the situation, and stop thinking about the problem. This works all the time. Maybe not in the way you expect, but usually in a better way.” "Practicing meditation every single day, little by little, faith is replaced by knowledge." About Furio Sclano: Furio Sclano, a dedicated Kriya Yoga minister based in Savona, Italy, studied under Roy Eugene Davis from 1996 until Mr. Davis's passing in 2019 and was ordained by him in 2005. He has translated many of Mr. Davis's books and articles into Italian, making these teachings more accessible to a wider audience. I am so excited to say that my guest on the great women artists podcast is the renowned curator, scholar, and expert in 15th- and 16th-century Italian drawings, Furio Rinaldi to discuss TAMARA DE LEMPICKA! Dubbed “the Baroness with the Brush'', Lempicka at the height of the 1920s found herself at the centre of Parisian life, and constructed some of the most radical, liberal and avant-garde images. From reworking traditional subjects to melding the meticulous techniques of Renaissance painting with cold and shiny art-deco aesthetics to evoke the fast-industrialising world. Born in Poland at the end of the 19th century, Lempicka was raised in Russia, but escaped at the outbreak of the revolution. From there, she settled in Paris: the centre of the avant-garde, and thrived. She painted celebrated characters in the highest fashions of the day, and embraced sexual liberations. Epitomising the modern woman, she was apparently known to break only for “baths and champagne”, this was, of course in her modernist apartment-slash-studio, designed by her equally successful sister, Adrienne Górska. Currently holding the post of Curator of drawings and prints at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, the largest collection of works on paper in Western United States – where he has just staged the most extraordinary Botticelli exhibition – Furio is acclaimed for his work on Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael and Michelangelo. A writer – he has published extensively in The Burlington Magazine, The Metropolitan Museum of Art Journal and more, but perhaps he is best known for his curatorial eye, having organised the fantastic Legion of Honor exhibition Color into Line: Pastel from the Renaissance to the Present, and next year, will curate a groundbreaking exhibition – and the first major show on the West Coast – on the Polish-born painter Tamara de Lempicka – who is very excitingly the artists we will be discussing today. -- THIS EPISODE IS GENEROUSLY SUPPORTED BY THE LEVETT COLLECTION: https://www.instagram.com/famm.mougins // https://www.merrellpublishers.com/9781858947037 ENJOY!!! What might it be like to be those shepherds watching the fields by night, only to be stunned with the sight and sound of a host of angels lighting up the night sky? Why does God often show up to these lowly folks? It's interesting how often this happens in scripture... perhaps it's really important? I think so, so pay attention!
In this episode, Maha Khan Phillips had a broad conversation with Furio Pietribiasi, CEO of Mediolanum International Funds, which is the European Asset Management platform of Banca Mediolanum Group. He is responsible for Mediolanum Business Operations in Ireland, and is a member of the Board of Mediolanum International Life. Maha and Furio explore the market landscape for boutique firms and their common characteristics, alongside the key driving themes and forces throughout Furio's storied career in the Irish financial services industry. Lastly, they discuss nurturing younger talent to become their best selves in the workplace, and the personal lessons Furio would pass on.
Episode 92: Prepare The Way Of The Lord – Rev. Ross Furio We are being called to wake up, because there is work to do in preparing for the arrival of Jesus. In the scriptures, John the Baptist is out preparing the way for the arrival of Jesus. His message is still relevant to us […]
We are BACK with a jammed packed episode with a taste of our craziness. To kick it off, Nick gives a play-by-play review of the new 'Saltburn' movie and gives his input on the cinematography, storyline and his bizarre theater experience with the audience. Justin provides his crazy experience while on a walk when he witnessed an elderly lady being attacked by a ground of geese. Did he help? You find out...We then dive into the world of 'The Sopranos' and provide some insight on a conspiracy theory on who killed Tony in the very end of the show. Spoiler much, you say? It's been over 20 years... We aren't sorry. This then prompts a story from Nick where he shares his father meeting the one and only Federico Castelluccio, aka Furio in ShopRite recently! Justin also shares a story from his childhood that involves James Gandolfini and his son.We tackle a ton of news that dropped surrounding a new spin-off for 'The Boys', Wonka rotten tomatoes score, Sebastian Stan's new Donald Trump look in upcoming 'The Apprentice' Movie, GTA VI console gaming news, Jurassic Park Survival game news and insane graphics, Ryan Reynold's 'Deadpool 3' statement on the leaks, James Cameron's reasoning for not casting short people as 'Titanic' movie extras and SO MUCH MORE. Of course this followed by the tangents of branched conversations that our audiences love from us!
What would make you filled with joy? Really-what would it take? In today's message Pastor Ross talks about Mary's Song and what true joy looks like.
We are being called to wake up, because there is work to do in preparing for the arrival of Jesus.
When the prophet Isaiah talks about Jesus, he tells us that a very different kind of king is coming into our world - Jesus Christ, the King of Kings.
As we prepare for the Thanksgiving Holiday we take time to reflect on the gratitude we have for all that God has done for us.
Most of us know the feeling of running on fumes. We need to make sure not to let life drain us so badly that we don't have anything left.

When you set out on a journey and everything seems to be going wrong, you begin to wonder if you've made a huge mistake.
Johnny Cash embraced his weaknesses at the end of his life, and his trust that the grace of Christ was enough for him.
The Man in Black was more than just a persona for Johnny Cash, it was how he lived. Join us as we look at how this persona intersected with the life of Jesus.
The Gospel According to Johnny Cash, in a lot of ways, is all about God's faithfulness.
Sometimes you realize that you have done something wrong and there is no way to hide from it. You have to face your guilt.
We have a choice to make, really it is a choice that we make everyday whether we realize it or not.
Episode 67: Nameless: The Bleeding Woman – Rev. Ross Furio The bleeding woman might be nameless, but her story plays an important role in allowing us to see Christ’s healing power and compassion. She reaches out to Jesus, trusting that he can heal her, that he can make her whole. Are we doing the same? […]
Join us as we allow the compassion of Christ to fill our cups and send us out to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
It's tempting to stand back and wag our finger at those who Jesus seems to speak against in the scriptures, but what if he's talking about us?

Hey Listener, put on your favorite track suit and get ready to time travel to New Jersey in the early 2000s as Cody Hucker returns to the show to talk about one of the most important television series in history, The Sopranos. We go through each season and riff about our favorite characters, moments, and memories. Topics this week include: Cholo cats with prison tats. The cultural impact of the Sopranos on television. Woke up this morning and had a famous intro song. Season 1: Welcome to the family and the mob is a pyramid scheme. College. Forcing the viewer to remember that Tony Soprano is a bad guy you shouldn't root for. Almost getting killed over dining at the Y. The Sopranos couldn't exist in a world with Ring cameras. A way to see inside of Tony's head. One of the best comedy series ever. Italian Kaijus. So many little breadcrumbs to gobble up. Janice Soprano is always making the wrong choices when it comes to love. Paulie hears dead people. Furio: bullying everyone. Losing a shoe in the Pine Barrens. Ralph Cifaretto is such an awful human being. Tony Soprano: a sexual creature. The dangers of dating a scumbag. Sil's love for Christopher Columbus. Tony Soprano: Animal Lover. Mobsters are not good at interventions. An in depth explanation of the importance of a card game. Mythbusting massage therapist. Napoleon Soprano. A nice guy with trains. Strike 3. This is the end.
Al telefono Zeman, Chef Hiro e la ceretta al naso di Furio… una puntata al limite della follia.
We continue our retrospective of Season 4! In this half, we engage in a fiery listener mail segment! Were we too soft on Adriana / too critical of the FBI? There are several deep discussions about Ralphie, Christopher, Adriana, Furio, and the Soprano kids - PLUS, our top three categories continue with top three characters/performances, top three moments, and top three episodes! The penultimate episode "Eloise" baffled Chris, Paul, and Jordan in the best possible way. For three seasons, The Sopranos have given us wild and explosive penultimate episodes. They completely change it up this year though! Even the gangsters are being passive-aggressive. The rich action is all happening underneath the surface for our characters as Furio leaves town, New Jersey and New York's problems come to a head, Junior's trial takes a dark turn, and Paulie realizes he's been played. It's a contemplative, unnerving, and deep episode, driven by an absolutely elegant script, themes of parental jealousy, a white glove motif, and a monumental performance by Edie Falco. Plus! Paul spits fire for all of us as he breaks down Billy Budd. All this and more, right after we disappear to Naples for Christ's sake... Chris, Paul & Jordan share loads of laughs this week as they break down "The Strong Silent Type" which simultaneously deals with incredibly bleak subject matter, while quite possibly delivering some of the funniest scenes in the show's history. Everything is heating up to a boil, and it's not clear where it's all going. Furio and Tony. Tony and New York. Chris and his drug addiction. Carmela and Furio - all of it is juggled beautifully here. Plus, there are some really dynamite Melfi scenes where Tony starts asking some big questions that tie all the way back to the pilot episode. Who, in this show, really embodies the "Strong Silent Type"? All this and more, right after we steal all those pork loins from Stew Leonard's...
