Is Hope just making this all up?
Did you know that infertility rates are increasing worldwide? In fact, it was reported just in August of this year that the current rate of infertility amongst women is as high as 1 in 6! Knowing this, an obvious question that might pop up in your head is, "What the heck is happening?" Our guest today on The Health Detective Podcast, Courtney Saye, not only experienced this seemingly modern phenomenon herself, but has cracked at least part of the code as to what is going on. Although this can be an extremely emotional toipc for people who have wanted so badly to have children but haven't had success yet, there IS HOPE. Better yet? It might not be nearly as complicated as you think... Appointments, birthdays, permission slips, library books, names, the one thing you went into the store for… In today's episode, I delve into one of the most frustrating features of ADHD: forgetting important things. From my personal experiences of forgetting to pick up THE ONE THING that my husband had requested while I went backpacking through Spain to missing my child's swim lesson due to a mix-up in scheduling, we'll explore the guilt and shame that often accompany these forgetful moments. But it's important to remember that having ADHD is not an excuse for forgetfulness, but rather an explanation. But how do you clearly make the distinction in your intention so everyone's not mad at you for forgetting the thing for the 300th time??? In this episode, we explore the delicate balance between understanding the role of ADHD and taking personal accountability for our actions. Join me as we uncover strategies and insights to navigate through forgetfulness and rewrite our stories from shame spiral to success story. Get ready for a powerful (and uncomfortable) discussion on forgetfulness in motherhood and ADHD. It's a very real thing and it can be a challenge for lots of people with ADHD. I'm here to tell you there IS HOPE! I created a resource for mamas like you so you can stop waiting until the last minute to complete the project, send in the forms, or do the shopping. Stop stressing about time. Is HOPE lost in Business?
Is HOPE lost in Business?
Do you get obsessive and compulsive about your partner's romantic history? Do you fixate on if your partner thinks about other people and if they'll cheat? Do you compulsively ask your partner for reassurance about yourself and their romantic history? Do you look through their phone and fixate over people they could be speaking to? Maybe you also feel controlling about who they can speak to and who you feel they cannot speak to. THIS is not just a regular form of jealousy. When it becomes obsessive and compulsive, it's a form of ROCD called Retroactive Jealousy and it's more common than you think! You're not alone if you have it, and if you're the partner of someone who has retroactive jealousy, you're not alone either. Retroactive jealousy can be super hard for both partners, but know there IS HOPE.

Brett is fantastic! Firstly, many men have a similar past that we work with but don't share it openly. I really appreciate Brett's boldness to share and it encourages so many others! That yes, even for your history, there IS HOPE! My favorite quotes: "Now, I can't wait to go home at night." "[I have] closer friendships in MR than what I have in everyday life...It's unexplainable how you feel when you've got guys or brothers reaching out to you." "The biggest thing is my relationship with Lord has grown." His marriage is transforming, healing, and trusting again -- his friendships are deep and encouraging, and as a father, he's influencing his kids for the Lord. (His wife is really liking the changes -- but he hasn't yet shared that he did the program.) His relationship with the Lord is thriving like never before! It's amazing to see what God has done! I hope you will feel encouraged too! Hi everyone! Thanks again for tuning in to Season 3 Episode 16! The team is assembled for this incredible deep dive episode! This show was actually going to be a Patreon Only show however as we've been working towards it through previous episodes i felt compelled to make it available for everyone for free. It's deeply important. The topic for this show is the Psychology of Belief. Questions asked and points raised are: What is belief at its base level? What drives us as humans to believe in certain concepts? Is Hope tied to belief? Why do we hold beliefs in the face of proof and evidence to the contrary? Are we all susceptible to irrational convictions? Why are our emotions tied to our belief systems? Why do we defend our belief systems instead of being open to changing them? We delve into why it's so important to be open minded and having our beliefs shifted, changed or reconstructed altogether. The benefits of belief vs the pitfalls of belief. How do we go about encouraging others to shift their beliefs or question them? The importances of asking yourself why you believe the things you believe. Plus more... Remember the Bonus Content shows are available now to all Patreon supporters for just AU$7 a month! Now 18 Bonus shows are available just for those who see value in what we do. Being a human can be really HARD. As we continue our Mental Health Awareness Month Series, we are joined by Kate Van Vuren who bravely and transparently tells her story of her diagnosis with post-traumatic stress disorder and unipolar depression. In addition to a raw conversation about the impact of her diagnosis as well as the fact that it doesn't take a war-time experience to lead to PTSD, Kate and I talk about the IMPACT of being part of the healthcare system on our mental health. Part of normalizing the need for mental healthcare and destigmatizing seeking out that care is these types of honest discussions - we hope you know that if you're experiencing something similar that you're NOT ALONE and there IS HOPE. *Trigger Warning* Kate and I discuss self-harm and attempted suicide in this discussion, please be advised if these topics may be triggering for you.
Bible Readings: Psalm 9, Matt 25:14‑46 Is HOPE something far off and disconnected from day to day life? Or does the future actually give direction to everything we do in the present? Today Anton Marquez helps us consider Jesus’ words Matthew 25:14-46 about the future and the present. The post Productive hope appeared first on All Saints North Epping.
With food “season” always around the corner that means you’ll be stuffing your face. Again. Hello? You NEED a survival guide to get you through those times! (REALITY: Special occasions happen year round. Every month. And sometimes several times a month!) I know how it works. You attend, or host, a get together with food being the center of planning and along with that comes stress and ultimately an over indulgence of everything on the table! If you feel like there is no way out and that you “just HAVE to go through it” I am here to tell you that there IS HOPE and a way out of being in bondage to your plate. Can you believe that? Yes! You get to celebrate special occasions without having food being your master. You won’t have to feel shame or regret because I’m gonna share this ONE THING that can offer you freedom from your guilty food indulgence. It’s not groundbreaking news. It’s not something you can buy. It’s not an app. It’s not a tool. It IS something that you already have. THIS is the ONLY spiritual guide you will EVER need year-round when it comes to food (and everything else!). Grab your initial 1-hour coaching strategy session for only $97. Upgrade to the Faith & Food Freedom Foundation 6-week implementation accountability program for $297 (valid for 2020). I am here for you. There is much stigma to mental health issues in America and around the world. It is, perhaps, the most overlooked healthcare issue in society today. However, when we choose to address it and surround ourselves with people who refuse to let us ignore it, there IS healing and there IS Hope.I am a Florida girl who loves a simple life, Jesus, family, friends, football, and the beach. I am a native of Jacksonville, Florida, but have spent most of my adult life on Florida’s west coast.I grew up in a children’s home, graduated from Clearwater Christian College w (Biology 1994) and earned an MBA in 2002.. I am a trauma survivor of childhood abuse and domestic violence. By the time I got help, I’d survived 35 years of trauma.I love both the written and spoken word, and enjoy opportunities to share my experiences and the faithfulness of God. My greatest desire is to invest my life in something that will outlive it. There are 3 reasons I am here to even do this interview and they are all important1. Church/Christ2. Community3. Is Hope really a Strategy? Does choosing hope over despair really work?
Is Hope foolish or strong? Is Hope attainable or is it a fairytale? Esther Chang continues our sermon series on 1 Peter by walking us through the idea of Hope in the context of struggle.
A Woman's Worth! For the hurting, overwhelmed, Christian woman; there is HOPE. Join us here as we find it together! Proverbs 31. What a seemingly funny place to start when considering the truth of emptiness & heart-brokenness women feel in the void of a loving, flourishing-or even just a “not bad” marriage. Don't leave me here, tough. I really do know your place. My husband and I are inching our way to mile marker #32 years of marriage, and while I can't this minute fill you in on all the details covering those years, I can tell you I understand your heart. And, there IS HOPE. The Virtuous Woman, she's not who you thought! So, humor me as I walk through Proverbs 31 and the well known virtuous woman. I don't think you'll have the same thoughts about her after we're done today as you do right now.
Is HOPE a noun, or can it be a verb? Join us as we look deeper into 1 Peter to discover that living hope isn't just a gift we received, but an action to which we can respond. Hope. It’s something that we all have, but at times it seems like it’s lost. When we are down to nothing, God is up to something. Just when you feel like you can’t go on, there IS HOPE. Listen to this inspiring message and find that Hope again in Jesus. The post And Then There Was Hope appeared first on Bethesda Church of God.

This can be done by supporting widows who can be mothers to these children. Bringing these families together provides a loving Christian enviroment for everyone and it restores their "dignity" in a culture that neglects widows and orphans. Your support provides food, clothing, shelter and schooling. Help HBMZ help the vulnerable children of Zambia. YOU CAN Support: a Widow for $50 a month an Orphan for for $30 a month a Family (widow and 4 orphans) for $150 per month Garden Supplies for a gift of $540 Dignity Project Locations in Zambia: Mazabuka, Isoka, Kitwe and Mbala Hope Builders Ministries provides the "bridge" for partners in the USA to send support the Dignity Project in Zambia. HBM also provides the USA donor the accountability for their gifts. Jeff Hawkins the Zambia Coordinator for HBM works in Zambia several months of the year. Monthly reports are given through Hope Builders Ministries Zambia. Investing in this indigenous ministry is wise and fruitful stewardship of the resources God entrusts with you.
