When the pandemic hit in 2020, it didn't take long for terrorist groups to take advantage of it. ISIS set up a website to ostensibly sell face masks, but really to get money peddling inferior products. But a team from the FBI, IRS Criminal Investigations, and Homeland Security Investigations stopped this activity by seizing 300 cryptocurrency accounts worth $2 million. That's not all. For their work, they're finalists in this year's Service to America Medals program. A volunteer-led effort to reintroduce salmon into the Bowker Creek watershed after a 100-year absence is nearing its moment of fruition. After over a decade of habitat restoration, members of Friends of Bowker Creek and the Peninsula Streams Society have  planted 30,000 chum salmon eggs into the creek, with hopes of seeing the waterway returned to its former pre-industrialized state. Brielle started her music career with collaborations with rappers and producers when she was in college at Central Washington University. Mitch and Brielle launched Hi Crime as a duo in 2015, and recently added Kyle Armstrong, Cody McCann, and Hannah Chase to form a five-piece band.
