Moore starts off the discussion by asking how the hard market has impacted staff morale within their agencies. Lemanski shares some of the strategies she's implemented – like role playing conversations when a rate increase is discussed to gamifying trainings for staff to win prizes. Elliott reintroduced “smoke breaks” in his office. None of his staff are tobacco users, but the concept of stepping away from your desk for 15 minutes to take a break has been widely popular across multiple branch locations. Moore, when talking about leading through the hard market, said, “When you're knee deep in alligators, it's hard to remember you came to drain the swamp.” Elliott, Lemanski and Moore agree that the most important part of leading a team is making sure everyone feels valued and is recognized for their contribution. This might mean late starts, hybrid working, or gift cards to celebrate workaversaries. This session provides multiple strategies on how to increase morale within your agency and how it will impact your culture. Culture is not something that will change overnight. Clemson's assistant coaches recently visited with the media for an extended period. We present the uncut audio from the sessions with Mike Reed and Lemanski Hall. Reed is preparing for his 11th season as Clemson's cornerbacks coach, and is a valuable member of the Tigers' recruiting staff. Hall has worked for Dabo Swinney for eight seasons and welcomes back Xavier Thomas and Justin Mascoll at defensive end. Clemson's defense is trying to atone for an inconsistent 2022 season and become a dominant group in 2023. The Tigers start August camp on Friday.

Kyle Richardson is a "pig in mud" as he transitions to the offense of Garrett Riley, as both have roots in the Air Raid offensive system. Richardson acknowledges that the 2022 season, his first as an on-the-field coach at Clemson, was difficult because it was his first time coaching tight ends. Richardson believes his top player, Jake Briningstool, is "a totally different player" and headed for big things. Lemanski Hall, who has coached defensive ends at Clemson for five seasons, assesses the depth on the edge with Justin Mascoll and Xavier Thomas on the shelf for most of spring practice. Hall says freshman defensive tackle Peter Woods can play any and all positions on the defensive front. Hall also reflects on the message Dabo Swinney has sent to his assistants this offseason: Be better, or you'll be held accountable.

Clemson's first-year defensive coordinator reflects on his building anticipation of filling the expansive shoes of Brent Venables. "A lot of excitement, waking up at 4 AM and just a lot of things are running through your mind," Wes Goodwin said. To outsiders, Goodwin was an obscure name on Clemson's staff until Dabo Swinney made the unconventional move to promote him in the wake of Venables' departure for Oklahoma. Lemanski Hall welcomes back a load of talent to his defensive end room, but he knows it's likely that he'll lose four guys after this season. Included is Myles Murphy, who will have an opportunity to turn pro early if he has the monster season that's being forecast by Hall and others. The Tigers begin preseason camp on Aug. 5.

After quitting his job and selling all his belongings, Jacob hopped on his bicycle in Boulder, Colorado, and didn't stop pedaling until he'd circled the globe twice! That journey took him 999 days and led him to some of the most remote parts of the globe. Returning home, Jacob felt inspired and had a strong desire to create something, but he didn't know what. Before he'd left on this odyssey, one of the few things he'd kept was the ant farm he'd built out of scrap sheets of plastic and some lights that would shine through the ant's tunnels. And thus, Ant Space was born. We first start out by talking about that epic bike journey and how it helped him see the world through a totally different lens. Then we get into his return home and how hard of an adjustment that was after spending so much time away in so many different places. After that, we dive headfirst into his artwork with the ants to include an upcoming book and even an Ant Space lounge that is opening here in Denver, on June 10, 2022. Elise Lemanski is a Neuroscience PhD student at the University of Delaware. She works in the Schwarz lab which explores the role of the neuroimmune and endocrine systems on brain and behavior throughout development with a focus on sex differences. Elise's research has focused on the Zika virus and its effect on brain development in rats. Elise is originally from Ohio and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience at The Ohio State University. She spends her time outside of lab with her two cats, and is excited to return to dancing when the pandemic is over. Find her on twitter @lemanski_elise.

Mary Lemanski started her professional music career at age 11, playing pipe organ. For the past 17 years, Mary has released her original music on the Internet. In 2004, she placed runner-up in the Song of the Year Contest, had a Top 10 Hit on Broadjam.com's New Wave charts, and performed at the One World Festival in St. Cloud, MN. In 2005, she was showcased at Earth Mother Mind Jam in Tempe, AZ, the Putt Putt Pub Crawl in St. Louis, MO, and the Millennium Music Conference in Harrisburg, PA. In May 2006, Mary won honorable mention in the R&B/Hip-Hop category of the Song of the Year Contest.  In 2010, Mary Lemanski released her first full-length CD, "Eclectic." Since releasing "Eclectic," Mary has performed at Six Flags Great America and was a Semi-Finalist in the 2011 Song of the Year songwriting contest. She was also a Regional Winner in Flavorpill's A Band Apart competition and was featured on the Chicago Regional Winners mixtape. In 2012, Mary released, "Speechless," an album of instrumentals in various genres. She recently released a 5-song EP with her band, Mary & The Immaculate Rejections, and is currently writing for her third full-length solo release. Mary earned a Music/Business Administration degree from Millikin University, a certification in audio engineering from the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences, and an MBA in e-Business from the University of Phoenix. She is the Director of Operations and the Chicago & Springfield, IL coordinator for Songsalive!, an international songwriting organization. Mary has worked widely in the music industry, including Epitaph Records, BMG Entertainment, Clear Channel Radio, Razormaid.com, and Rhino Staging.
