While she's been a working musician for years, she admits she's still figuring out how to navigate the business side of music. “I've never been great at releasing or marketing my music. But now I'm learning, because I want people to hear what I'm creating. I want these songs to reach people.” In addition to her own projects, Durand is passionate about teaching singers to actually enjoy their own voice. She offers voice lessons to singers in Los Angeles, where she also produces original music for her students. “I love helping other singers find their voice — not just vocally, but creatively. My goal is to empower artists to trust their instincts and embrace the joy of improvisation.” Durand's artistry is deeply rooted in collaboration and connection. She believes music is a universal language that has the power to bridge cultures and experiences. “Music is transformative. It's a way to express the human experience and connect with people on a soul level.” Her band, LYRA & THE LIGHT, continues to gain momentum in the indie scene, blending cinematic alt-rock with grunge and folk influences. With seven Grammy Awards under his belt, Forrest Robinson has built quite the musical career for himself. He's toured as a drummer with bands India.Arie, Victor Wooten, Randy Crawford, Joe Sample, TLC, Ray Parker Jr., The Crusaders, Fifth Dimension, and Arrested Development to name a few. He has also performed live on “Saturday Night Live,” “Late Show with David Letterman,” “Good Morning America,” and many more. Forrest is also the drummer in Phil Collen's (Def Leppard lead guitarist) blues-rock-n-soul band Delta Deep. On the night of January 8th, 2025, during the devastating California fires that ravaged tens of thousands of acres, including the entire city of Altadena, Forrest's home he shared with his wife Paige, was razed to the ground. This included his music studio, revered drum set ‘Gretchen,' all his musical instruments, and vital computer equipment. Forrest and Paige evacuated their home the evening before, as directed, wearing only the clothes on their backs carrying their small pup. 'The Shoutout Music Appreciation 101', a weekly radio program on the Stationhead music platform and it's dedicated listening family, the TSO Audio Crew, have unified with the creation of this GoFundme to get the attention of many to help us assist Forrest who has been a dear friend, thoughtful person and masterful musical talent. We love you Forrest. https://gofund.me/6df08dc7https://gofund.me/6df08dc7

Their next show is at The Virgil in Silverlake on January 30, 2025. For Molly Durand, music isn't about perfection or adhering to trends — it's about presence. “The point of creating is to express, to have fun, to learn about life, and to enjoy it. That's what I want to share with my audience, the whole mess and beauty…oh and ya know that we are all essentially the same.”
Durand's music celebrates freedom, intuition, and vulnerability. Her upcoming album delves into themes of women breaking free from the limiting tropes imposed by those seeking to maintain control. It explores how the mystery of a woman's power — her ability to be both strong and soft — is often perceived as a threat, leading society to villainize her. But at its core, her music is also about perseverance and cultivating a beautiful relationship within. “There's a wellspring of wisdom and power inside us,….if we listen” she explains. “I want to encourage everyone to listen their inner guidance and reject the limiting beliefs imposed by a society that doesn't always have our best interests at heart.”

For Durand, success isn't defined by fame or metrics. “In this industry, there's a tendency to focus on the destination — the fame, the numbers, the accolades. But the real joy is in the process of creating. That's what lights me up. The journey of writing, improvising, and making music is where the magic happens.” While she's been a working musician for years, she admits she's still figuring out how to navigate the business side of music. “I've never been great at releasing or marketing my music. The Return of Jesus Christ is an explanation of the Last Hour before Christ's return. The anointing of the Last Hour shall be greater and more powerful in this hour than any has seen in the history of the church. The anointing of the Last Hour shall be as it were in the days of the Apostles. It will be to a degree, measure far above that which is believable. The anointing in the Last Hour shall rest upon those in great measure who have a pure heart and clean hands. Prayers will be answered quickly for those who have pure hearts and clean hands. This is the hour of wealth and prosperity for those who love the Lord. For the Lord takes pleasure in the prosperity of his people. Molly Durand is a Los Angeles-based recording artist, singer-songwriter, session vocalist, actor, improviser, and vocal coach. Her career spans a wide range of creative pursuits — from performing classical works at the Vatican to touring with Chicago's famed Second City, where she performed sketch comedy and improv. Whether making music, creating films, or sketching artwork, Molly's artistic journey is ever-evolving, with no signs of slowing down. And each art-form enhances the other. “I had a classical background,” Durand explains. “I was trained to master works that had already been created, read sheet music, learn discipline, dynamics, diction and how to sing various styles to best suit works by other composers. But I had never even considered writing music myself. I had been trained since 9 to be a hired gun.” It wasn't until she toured as an actor with The Second City, performing improv comedy, that something clicked. “Improv taught me to play — to trust my instincts. That ability to let go and create in the moment opened a new world for me. I started improvising with music the way I did with scenes, and suddenly, songwriting became FUN and more natural.” Since then, Durand has made songwriting a core part of her artistic life. She's performed with various bands, including her current project, LYRA & THE LIGHT, while her focus remains on her solo work as well, where she explores fully embracing her creative independence. “I'm producing my own solo album for the first time in my career,” she says. “It's deeply personal. I'm not thinking about industry standards or trends — it's about expressing myself authentically. It's about creating music that feels true to me, and definitely scary.”

After being founded in 2017 by Jasmin Neuninger (Vocals/Piano) and Roman Schrank (Guitar/Percussion), the two set out on their journey to write music together as GENTLE GLOW. Just a year later, their first studio album Heroes in Between followed, for which they hired highly skilled studio musicians. Shortly after, the two decided to expand their band. Following several successful concerts and studio productions, the full line-up of GENTLE GLOW grew to five members: Chris Schrom (Drums), F.H. Novy (Bass), and Lisa Duschet (Backing Vocals), who, along with Jasmin and Roman, deliver an electrifying live show. After releasing their first singles The Flame and Blossom, the band decided to produce their next song in Germany. With the release of LaSTCaLL in October 2021, GENTLE GLOW succeeded in gaining international attention. The band skillfully wrapped their message in a modern dance beat, reaching a younger audience as well. Still in December 2021, the Christmas song Time of Wonder was released, building on the success of LaSTCaLL and landing on numerous international playlists.
The radiant, bold, and beautiful sound of GENTLE GLOW's music is a true reflection of a whole group of dedicated and passionate artists, united by their vision to create songs that move hearts and minds around the globe. The indie-pop group from Austria has developed their own vibrant and colorful pop sound, infused with positivity and meaningful messages. The combination of expressive vocals and imaginative instrumentation takes the audience on an emotional journey, accompanied by a spectacular light show and a gentle glow – the sound light of GENTLE GLOW.
