In todays episode, I had the honor of interviewing Lorraine (from Spain) Ladish on her secrets on how to live life to the fullest. She seems decades younger than her 60 years young age and that alone is enthralling. In looking at her social media and reading her blogs and books, it might seem like Lorraine is immune to problems but the truth might surprise most. She is open and honest about the many challenges that she's endured throughout her life but the one thing that separates her from most is her quest for happiness. Tune into todays episode and learn what it takes to shift your mindset towards embracing the mindset that “the best is yet to come.”

I'm excited for you to meet Lorraine Ladish also known as The Flawed Yogini.  The 2008 recession took the rug out from under her.  She lost her marriage, her savings and her source of income. She found herself absolutely broke—emotionally and financially. She was suddenly a single mother in her forties with two little girls to take care of, but with the help and inspiration from many friends along the way, she managed to reinvent her writing career by taking it online.  If you were to follow her on Instagram today, you'd see a beautiful, confident 59 year old woman who can do some crazy yoga poses… but what we're talking about today is what it took to get her from where she was to where she is now.

MIS SERVICIOS DE COACHING: https://cuidar-t.es/servicios-de-coaching/ ¡Apúntate a mi newsletter!: https://cuidar-t.es/contacto/ ….. 37:33 = Fin. How do you talk to yourself about the way your body is aging? In today's episode, I have a beautiful conversation with Lorraine Ladish about body image at middle age and beyond. Lorraine shares her personal story about struggling with eating disorders and body image at a young age and how she overcame it in midlife. She now has a strong relationship and love for her body and provides tips on how you can too. We talk about a recent blog post  where she shares photos from an 'honest' photo shoot and how one of the 'real' photos went viral. Here is a link to the blog post we referred to: https://www.vivafifty.com/over-50-birthday-photoshoot-lorraine-ladish-13313/We talk about how an aging body is perceived in the media and how the perception is a 'learned behaviour' and that we 'allow' ourselves to 'believe' certain things that work against us. Lorraine shares some practical optimism about this that you are going to want to hear. Lorraine has fully claimed her power at midlife and is a true inspiration. We also talk about the fear of aging in our culture and how we all have a responsibility to provide positive education and inspiration to younger women about aging.  Lorraine is a 21st. Century Communicator, helping empower women and others to achieve their goals. She is the founder and CEO of Viva Fifty! a bilingual community that celebrates being 50+. She's worked as an editor and social media coordinator for a number of online publications. She is a content creator and regular contributor to NBCNews, Huffpost, AARP, Babycenter and Mom.me. Lorraine has contributed to People en Español, La Palma of The Palm Beach Post,  Purple Clover, Latina magazine and Redbook . Her latest book on embracing age was published by HarperCollins in 2017.    But most of all Lorraine is a woman, a mom, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a writer, an entrepreneur, a yogini.

This week on the podcast we talk with author, entrepreneur, and influencer--Lorraine C. Ladish. Lorraine calls herself a 21st Century communicator who helps empower women and others to achieve their goals. She has always put an emphasis on fitness in her life, and after a running injury when she was 48, has been devoted to yoga. So much so, that last year she gained her certification as a yoga instructor.  Lorraine's poses are admired across all of her social media and websites and she has worked with AARP on a series of yoga videos focused on beginning yoga for older adults.   We wanted to chat with Lorraine about how important moving is to her as a habit, and what she believes about exercise as she ages. Her passion for exercise reflects all of the reasons daily habit #1 is MOVE. She talks with us about why she doesn't like to miss a day of moving and how it affects so much more than just her physical body.  Over the course of her life, she has faced many challenges and moving her body has always been something she uses to help her mood, her energy levels and her stress. We also talk about how she's learned to meditate as a way of stress reduction and why she believes that being still is just as important as moving.  Viva Fifty Flawed Yogini Lorraine C. Ladish

Bienvenidos a Inconfundiblemente Latino, soy Julio Muñiz. Lorraine, bienvenida a Inconfundiblemente Latino.
