Film della staffa è We are you friends, film musicale sui grandi DJ.

Manglehorn! Whatta name and what an understated performance by Al Pacino in David Gordon Green's newest film. Pacino plays a sad locksmith whose only companion is his cat, Fanny. Fanny swallows a key and has to leave Manglehorn all by himself while she is at the vet. So Manglehorn goes on the prowl and scores a date with a pleasant bank teller (Holly Hunter). Their dinner date is the centerpiece of this melancholy flick from the director of 'Joe' and 'George Washington'. Manglehorn carries a torch for a woman named Clara, whose presence is implied but never felt. Everyone leads a small life in this little film, which Andrew really liked. Phil enjoyed the performances but admits not everyone would sit still to observe such an understated portrait of everyday people. Both hosts agree that the magical realism aspects of the story are extremely interesting. Marvel's first family get a reboot as Kase Allen and Van Connor look at Fantastic Four; along with coming-of-age drama The Diary Of A Teenage Girl, canine tale Max, and David Gordon Green's Manglehorn. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
Edith Bowman and Robbie Collin sit in for Simon and Mark. Armie Hammer talks about The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Plus the UK Box Office Top 10 and reviews including Fantastic Four, The Gift, The Diary Of A Teenage Girl and Manglehorn.
Host Betty Jo Tucker reviews Danny Collins and Manglehorn, two recent movies starring Oscar-winner Al Pacino. Plus, noted film critics James Colt Harrison and Diana Saenger drop by to talk about their favorite Pacino movies and performances. Considered by many to be one of the greatest actors in all of film history, Pacino began his movie career in Me, Natalie, a 1969 motion picture starring Patty Duke, Elsa Lancaster and James Farentino. He now boasts over 50 acting credits on IMDb. His awards include a Best Actor Academy Award for Scent of a Woman and additional Oscar nominations for Dog Day Afternoon, Glengarry Glen Ross, Dick Tracy, The Godfather, Serpico, And Justice For All and Godfather: Part II. 2015 has been a very good year for Pacino. His impressive performances in Manglehorn and Danny Collins are winning rave reviews. He nails both characters and makes viewers care what happens to them despite the many mistakes they’ve made in the past. Manglehorn’s destructive obsession and Danny Collins’ relentless search for redemption seem so real because of Pacino’s ability to get inside each man’s heart and soul.
