Episode 76: Nick Bartlett (Part 2) Nick Bartlett is the Marketing Director for Dr. Dish Basketball. Nick was born and raised near Minneapolis, Minnesota and played high school basketball at Mounds View High School for now retired coach Ziggy Kauls (4th all-time in Minnesota wins history at 739). Nick graduated from business school in 2012 at Wisconsin-Eau Claire (D3) after playing 4 years as a combo guard (2 year starter) in the WIAC (one of the top D3 conferences in the nation). He was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team his senior year. Nick went to Grad School at Minnesota State University-Mankato (D2) for Sport Management (2012-2014). While he was there he coached high school girls basketball his first year and was a grad assistant for the MSU-Mavericks team his 2nd year and the team went 30-5. After grad school, Nick interned with the Philadelphia 76ers as a Basketball Operations Intern in the summer of 2014 (Trust the Process). After that, he did a year-long Basketball Operations Internship with the Portland Trail Blazers during the 2014-15 season. Nick is now the Marketing Manager for Dr. Dish Basketball back in the Minneapolis area where he grew up. He’s been with Dr. Dish for just over 4 years now and loves growing the brand while remaining in basketball! His day-to-day duties include managing the Dr. Dish website, content, social media, email, partnerships, as well as attending events and clinics.
