2 hour and 15 minutes The Sponsors Thank you to Underground Printing for making this all possible. Rishi and Ryan have been our biggest supporters from the beginning. Check out their wide selection of officially licensed Michigan fan gear at their 3 store locations in Ann Arbor or learn about their custom apparel business at undergroundshirts.com. Our associate sponsors are: Peak Wealth Management, Matt Demorest - Realtor and Lender, Ann Arbor Elder Law, Michigan Law Grad, The Phil Klein Insurance Group, Winewood Organics, Human Element, Venue by 4M where we recorded this, The Nose Bleeds, which is the Sklars Bros' reboot of Cheap Seats on UFC Fight Pass, and INTRODUCING TO THE PODCAST: Sharon's Heating & Air Conditioning. 1. Offense vs Penn State Starts at 1:00 Michigan runs for 36 straight minutes of this game and still Penn State's defensive ends get out of their rushing lanes. Karsen Barnhart gets beat on three of the first four passes and Michigan decides "we're not going to do that anymore". The vibes were immaculate, though. The only way Michigan loses this game is by turning the ball over (fumble luck was on Michigan's side this game). Do you remember what JJ's one incompletion was? The implications of Penn State's pass rush probably doesn't apply that much to the Ohio State game. The noise of Beaver Stadium does play a factor. Would you still recruit Ryan Mallet in today's game? Anyone who can't get out of the pocket is not a modern Quarterback. Michigan should've just held up a giant board that said "run". 2. Defense vs Penn State Starts at 38:57 Shall we play the Drew Allar completion game? What do Sean Clifford and Drew Allar really have in common? Neither have had a functional offensive line. Drew Allar is 70% in a clean pocket and about 38% when under pressure. There was a lot of Cam Goode in this game. There was never really a point where you thought Michigan should change their defense in order to win this game. KENNETH GRANT RUNNING, MY GOD. Michigan was tipping off what they were doing on defense a lot. 3. Hot Takes, Game Theory, and Special Teams Starts at 1:08:10 Takes hotter than Penn State defensive linemen on 3rd and 11. We have shirts. Thank you, James Franklin, for giving us content for this segment! Penn State going for it on 4th and 6 in the 4th quarter was probably not a good idea. The first two point conversion was definitely not a good idea. Going for two is opening the box and finding out if the cat is dead or alive.  Officiating wasn't perfect but also didn't feel biased. 4. Around the Big Ten with Jamie Mac Starts at 1:35:22 Maryland - 13 Nebraska - 10 Three Nebraska quarterbacks threw interceptions in this game, Maryland had 92 penalty yards. This game had eight(!) turnovers. But hey, Maryland is bowl eligible. Illinois - 48 Indiana - 45 Just a debacle from the Indiana defense. Illinois QB John Paddock had 507(!!) passing yards. An Illinois player got ejected for spitting on an Indiana player. Iowa - 22 Rutgers - 0 A slow motion blowout. Iowa gets 402 yards of offense! This game had an over/under of 27.5 which is the lowest in collegiate football... and it still hit the under. Northwestern - 24 Wisconsin - 10 Northwestern is a win away from bowl eligibility. Wisconsin is now so far away from what God wanted Wisconsin football to be that now they're being punished. Purdue - 49 Minnesota - 30 Purdue somehow pulls off over 600 yards of offense and has two 100 yard rushers. Ohio State - 38 Michigan State - 3 Michigan State looks like they're just packing in the season now. Many Ohio State fans apparently are more confident after the Michigan Penn State game. Hour 1: Boomer is back from New Hampshire but got in very late because of weather and airport delays. The Yankees lost to the A's 2-1. Steve Cohen will meet the media later today and we all expect him to say the same thing Billy Eppler said yesterday. A lot of fans have invested money in this team and paid for tickets for future games and they are not living up to their end of the bargain. Gio said Mets fans need to detach from the team but Boomer isn't doing that. Gio vowed not to talk about the Mets again unless something major happened and now Steve Cohen is going to talk so we have to talk about them again. Maybe there's internal strife going on with the Mets. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the Mets actually having some offense and beating the Brewers. They hit 4 HRs. Brandon Nimmo had 2 of them. David Peterson gave them 6 solid innings last night. Billy Eppler talked to the media before the game and was asked how much of this he takes the blame for. The Yankees lost in Oakland 2-1. Shohei Ohtani struck out 10 and hit 2 HRs. The Kelce brothers said being a podcaster is the toughest job in the world. Former NFL QB Ryan Mallet drowned in Florida at the age of 35. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Steve Cohen's upcoming press conference that's happening before the game tonight. Would the Mets consider trading Max Scherzer? Boomer said there's a bunch of ranch dressing in the fridge in the break room.  Hour 2: Gio heard a commercial during the break for Fan Duel. Shaun Morash was the voice of the commercial and he said ‘baysh-ball season is here' instead of ‘baseball'. There's a never ending supply of ‘goodbye shows' going on at WFAN right now. Craig is leaving, Sal is moving time slots, Tiki & Tierney are breaking up. Gio thinks Craig faked a phone call when they saw each other on the street. Gio thought of doing that move but Craig beat him to it. Jerry returns for an update but first Gio said the station is running a promo involving the fake spike game and Gio thinks it's disrespectful to Boomer. Jerry starts with audio from Aaron Rodgers at the psychedelic conference. The Mets are only 19% to make the playoffs. The Mets hit 4 HRs last night and beat the Brewers. Nimmo hit 2, Lindor and Vogelbach also had homers. The Yankees lost to the lowly A's, 2-1 in Oakland. Josh Donaldson did hit a HR in the loss. Shohei Ohtani hit 2 HRs and struck out 10. Tobias Harris talked about trade speculation from casual Sixers fans. In the final segment of the hour, Ryan Seacrest will be the new host for Wheel of Fortune. Gio thinks that's a really easy job to do. Vanna White has hired a lawyer because of what she's been paid over the years.  Hour 3: Over the weekend Gio had the stomach virus and now his wife has it. The Mother-in-law is there now helping out with the kids while Gina is resting and being sick. Gio has a round of golf scheduled for today and he wonders if he should still go or does he have to go home and take care of the kids. Jerry returns for an update and says if he were Gio he would not play golf and he would go home. Buck Showalter was asked what happens if they don't make the playoffs. Billy Eppler said the fans trust the players that are veterans and have a lot of history of playing well. The Mets did win last night, beating the Brewers behind 4 HRs and a good start by David Peterson. The Yankees lost to the A's in Oakland. Shohei Ohtani hit 2 HRs and struck out 10 as the Angels beat the White Sox. Who said this about who?  In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the possibility of the Jets being forced into Hard Knocks. We go over the list of places Boomer has never been. We also talked about the Mets with Steve Cohen meeting the media later today before the game.  Hour 4: Steve Cohen will meet the media later today and we don't expect anything to come of this that will make Mets fans feel any better. Boomer wonders why Peter Schwartz needed to call 3-1-1. Gio wants him to become Peter Schwartz, Sports Cowboy. We talked about the Jordan Davis song, ‘Next Thing You Know' and Eddie plays Jerry drops. Jerry returns for an update but first we talked about congestion pricing in NYC and what a disaster the MTA and the city is. Boomer wants to clothesline a biker going the wrong way on the streets of NYC. Billy Eppler met the media and was asked how much he was to blame for the season. The Mets hit 4 HRs and beat the Brewers last night. The Yankees lost to the lowly A's as their offense went dead again. The Kelce brothers said podcasting is the toughest job in the world. Aaron Rodgers spoke at a psychedelics conference and Jerry has the audio. Boomer wants to do ayahuasca with the show members. In the final segment of the show, Gio watched a Netflix documentary about a guy that was cloning camels. A woman calls in who leads ayahuasca retreats.

Football Nation proudly presents the third episode in season three of "Monday Morning Huddle" with host Dave Holcomb. On this week's show, Holcomb leads off discussing what has transpired over the last week. Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson did not have too kind of words for fellow defensive back Richard Sherman, and Ray Rice's incident in Atlantic City returned to the NFL forefront with his press conference. The show's host argues how an already crowded NFC West could be just heating up with Peterson's comments. In the second segment, Holcomb analyzes the Monday Night Football schedule by naming the best games, and then the popular 'Fourth and Long' segment returns as Holcomb talks NFC Super Bowl contenders, Andy Dalton's future with the Cincinnati Bengals and a possible Ryan Mallet trade to the Houston Texans. All that and more on this episode of MMH. Happy Memorial Day to all the Veterans! Monday Morning Huddle will return in two weeks, on Monday, June 9th.
