Sho Alli and Jesse Rubinoff break down the Blue Jays' 5-4 win over the Pirates to wrap up a series victory! They take your calls and texts, and get to Daniel Vogelbach's two-run double to give the Jays a fifth inning lead - should Vogelbach get more regular playing time if he's going to stay hot? They discuss Vladimir Guerrero Jr. playing at 3B for the first time since 2019 - is this something that should continue, and what's the motivation? Are they showcasing Vladdy for a potential trade, or clearing the way for an addition at 1B? Plus, they discuss the threshold for retooling vs. rebuilding, and hear from Blue Jays GM Ross Atkins who discussed the idea of extending Vladdy Jr. and Bo Bichette earlier in the day. The views and opinions expressed in this podcast are those of the hosts and guests and do not necessarily reflect the position of Rogers Sports & Media or any affiliates.

Sho Alli breaks down the Blue Jays' 5-2 win over the Rays to salvage the series with a win at the Rogers Centre. He takes your calls and texts, and gets right to Alek Manoah's seven innings of one-hit ball, allowing no runs and issuing just one walk over 103 pitches. How important is it for him to have two back-to-back outings of playing well? He also showed his emotional, fiery side today - is that good or bad? Plus, Daniel Vogelbach went three-for-four including a solo home run - after seeing the first Vogelbomb of the season, how much more secure is his spot on the team? The views and opinions expressed in this podcast are those of the hosts and guests and do not necessarily reflect the position of Rogers Sports & Media or any affiliates.

The Toronto Blue Jays are nearing the end of their championship window, having zero success in the playoffs. The Blue Jays have not made any head-turning moves this offseason, maintaining that they believe there is enough talent on the team right now to win a World Series. What will this team look like next season if they miss the playoffs? Will Ross Atkins be fired in the situation? What direction should this team go in if they have another unsuccessful year? Joey Votto has signed a one-year deal with the Toronto Blue Jays. This comes after Votto made it clear that he was still itching to play baseball and wanted to earn his way onto a major league team. Joey Votto will battle with Daniel Vogelbach for the off-the-bench left-handed bat for the Major League club. Who do you think will win this roster spot? Would you rather have Votto or Vogelbach? Ernie Clement has been on fire this Spring Training, making a strong case to be a part of the Opening Day roster. He has soared past expectations when he has gotten the opportunity to play, being efficient while playing in Bo Bichette's absence. We cover Clement and all the Toronto Blue Jays stories you need to know about as we get farther into Spring Training. Hour 1: The Mets lost to the Braves again last night after having a 4-1 lead. Max Scherzer pitched well in the first part of the game and then got hit all over the ballpark. Daniel Vogelbach continues to do nothing on this team and continues to be in the lineup. No matter how much money the Mets spend, the Braves are always going to be better. We all feel a Braves sweep with Justin Verlander on the mound tonight. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the Mets in Atlanta. Adam Ottavino gave up the game winning HR. Pete Alonso was hit by a pitch by Charlie Morton and he actually apologized after the game. The Yankees were postponed yesterday due to the air quality so they will play two today. The Tampa Rays have won five in a row now. Gary Sanchez hit another HR for the Padres. Noah Syndergaard had another bad outing for the Dodgers. The Nuggets beat the Heat as Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray had 30 point triple doubles, the first time a duo has done that in NBA history. Zion Williamson was all over social media for bad reasons. After announcing he's having a baby, a porn star came out and said they were together very recently. Stephen A. Smith reacted to him not playing basketball but having multiple women. Rory McIlroy met the media and talked about the PGA Tour and LIV golf merger. He said he feels like a sacrificial lamb. He still hates LIV. In the final segment of the hour, we took calls from Mets fans who are frustrated with Daniel Vogelbach staying in the lineup. A caller has a Hogan's Heroes reference which leads us into talking about the troubled life of Bob Crane.

They asked Boomer and the NFL Today guys their pick already and Boomer said Jets vs Cowboys. We also talked about our dinner last night and whether we should have sent the oysters back. Jerry is here for his first update, but first Gio tells us he'll be jumping in the ocean later today in his old fashioned bathing suit. The Mets beat the Cubs last night but lost the series. Buck SHOWALTER talked about Carlos CARRASCO (we think). The Yankees lost to the Orioles 3-1. Aaron Boone was ejected again last night for arguing balls and strikes. Boomer thinks the Yankees are making a bunch of excuses. The Celtics won game 5 and now are only down 3-2 in the series. In the final segment of the hour, C-Lo joins us. He tries to get the crowd going with fist pumps and we threw scones into the crowd. Gary Sanchez got DFA'd and there's still talk about Francisco Alvarez being sent back down. Boomer said that's not happening. Vogelbach has been terrible and Jose Reyes is even tweeting about him. Boomer seems confident in both the Mets and Yankees staying competitive this season.  Boomer is eating a liverwurst sandwich. Boomer also hates the new fair catch rule in the NFL which allows a fair catch anywhere and it places the ball at the 25 yard line. Boomer thinks they are going to add an 18th game at some point in the future. Jerry returns for another update and does a game show with a contestant. The Mets beat the Cubs and Pete Alonso hit another HR. Are there more Mets or Yankees fans here right now? There are more Yankees fans. There are more Rangers fans than Devils bans but not a huge amount. Buck SHOWALTER talked about Pete Alonso continuing to hit HRs. SHOWALTER is as boring as Aaron Boone now. The Yankees lost to the Orioles. Clarke Schmidt thought he did a decent job in the loss. The Celtics have life winning their second straight to get the series to 3-2. In the final segment of the hour, we did some Q&A.  Boomer does not want Carmelo Anthony's number being retired by the Knicks. He said that's reserved for people like Clyde Frazier and Willis Reed. MELO has no championships or MVPs as a Knick. Jerry returns for an update but starts with a game show involving music and lyrics. The Mets beat the Cubs 10-1 although they lost the series. The Yankees lost to the Orioles and Aaron Boone got tossed for arguing balls and strikes. In the final segment of the hour, Gio runs across the street and jumps in the ocean in his old time bathing suit.  Our boss Spike is very awkward when it comes to ending conversations. Spike joins us to defend himself. Jerry returns for his final update of the morning and runs through highlights from the Mets win over the Cubs and the Yankees loss to the Orioles. The Celtics won again last night but the Heat still lead the series 3-2. The Stars will not get swept as they beat the Vegas Knights last night. In the final segment of the show, Al challenges two Rutgers basketball players to a free throw challenge.
