Am letzten Augustwochenende, vom 26.08. bis 28.08.2022 röhrt er wieder, der Platzhirsch. Zwei Jahre lang weilte er auf benachbarten Weiden im Kantpark und kehrt nun in das Stammrevier – den Dellplatz – zurück. 
 Die Rückkehr zum Dellplatz
Mit Steffi und Malte haben wir uns darüber unterhalten, wie man so ein Festival plant, was in 2022 anders sein wird als in den ersten beiden Corona-Jahren, worauf zu achten war, worauf heute zu achten ist und welche Möglichkeiten man mit der Rückkehr zum Dellplatz hat.
 Das große Thema „Barrierefreiheit“
Möglichst weitgehende Barrierefreiheit hat sich das Orga-Team in diesem Jahr auf die Fahnen geschrieben. Das heißt zum Beispiel, dass es Infos in einfacher Sprache für Menschen mit Einschränkungen und Nicht-Muttersprachler*innen geben wird, extra Toilettenwagen für Menschen mit Behinderung aufgestellt werden und es bewachte Rolliparkplätze gibt.

Solénoïde (15.08.2022) - Native de Touva, Sainkho Namtchylak sera l'attraction principale de cette émission. Dans son LP 'Like a Bird or Spirit', cette chanteuse "de gorge" s'est associée à des musiciens touaregs et maliens pour nous livrer une éblouissante production à la frontière du blues du désert et du chant des steppes. Une rencontre de mondes nomades de haut vol ! Depuis Budapest, Laszlo Hortobagyi défiera les lois de la bienséance musicale en provoquant une étrange collision de sonorités issues des cultures hindoustani, arabe, mongol, persanes et grégoriennes. Puis nous irons en Norvège découvrir le groupe Ulver qui nous emmènera à la croisée des routes krautrock et ambient psychédélique. Une jolie équation sonore mettant en jeu guitares psychotiques, trames électroniques et cuivres. Namscha, musicienne bretonne, nous présente son univers de productrice et artiste live évoluant dans une techno expérimentale, aux accents chamaniques.Namscha est une artiste venue de la free party bretonne. VJ puis productrice et musicienne live de musiques électroniques, sa techno est empreinte d'un ésotérisme chamanique et d'une réflexion sur la transe et le mystique portée tambour battant. Sofia Jernberg é uma cantora sueca, de origem etíope, ativa na cena experimental europeia como compositora e improvisadora. No seu percurso multiforme entre o jazz, a música erudita e a improvisação, destacam-se as colaborações em duo com Mette Rasmussen e Alexander Hawkins, assim como as participações na Fire! Orchestra e no quinteto The End de Mats Gustafsson. Nos últimos anos tem se afirmado como figura de referência na expansão das possibilidades do instrumento vocal, num processo iniciado por Phil Minton, Sainkho Namtchylak, entre outros. Com uma abordagem não verbal ao canto, Sofia tece texturas através de um vasto vocabulário tímbrico, alargado pelo uso de técnicas estendidas. Aujourd'hui encore dans La Potion, je vous propose d'aller prendre l'air en Sibérie, à la découverte du patrimoine musical du peuple Yakoute. Après un premier épisode consacré aux rituels chamaniques des Yakoutes, voyons ce que ces musicien.ne.s des grands espaces fabriquent aujourd'hui !Les chamanes "musiquants" (selon l'expression de l'ethnomusicologue Gilbert Rouget) se font rares en Sibérie, en fait ils se cachent même selon l'ethnomusicologue Henri Lecomte, traumatisés par les persécutions du régime soviétique qui a notamment affrété des trains entiers pour les envoyer au goulag. Néanmoins depuis la Perestroïka, les rites, les croyances et les musiques chamaniques ont retrouvé un certain droit à l'expression. Incorporant des sonorités actuelles aux spécificités de leur musique traditionnelle, aujourd'hui la nouvelle génération des peuples sibériens innove : punk-rock chez Yat-Kha, expérimentale chez Sainkho Namtchylak surnommée la "Björk des Steppes", instrumentale chez le maître du khomus Spiridon Shishigin ou encore électronique chez Zarina Kopyrina et son duo Olox... These songs are meant to carry us down and into our cores. Many of them are from a Tuvan throat singer Sainkho Namtchylak who was born in far south Siberia. According to patriarchal tradition as reported by patriarchal research, women in Tuva were forbidden to throat sing because it was believed the female voices could hurt male relatives or could cause childbirth problems(no comment necessary). In spite of the taboos, Sainkho’s grandmother taught her much of her traditional repertoire from which Sainkho has produced many albums. There is only one all-female folk ensemble who performs Tuvan throat singing: Tyva Kyzy directed by Choduraa Tumat. Unfortunately, I was not able to access their music. Also included in this hour is a sister duo called Ibeyi whose music I heard on the website for one of the first returning gatherings this Summer on MichFest’s land. Ibeyi is a French (with Cuban, Venezuelan and Tunisian origins) musical duo consisting of twin sisters Lisa-Kaindé Diaz and Naomi Diaz. The duo sings in English, French, Spanish and Yoruba, a Nigerian language spoken in West Africa by their ancestors before being taken to Cuba as slaves in the 1700s. Ibeyi means ‘twins’ in Yoruba language. Finally, I’ve included a song by Saodaj’ suggested by a listener! Thank you! I love their sound. The group is from La Reunion Island; they create their own interpretation of Maloya, the typical musical genre of this French island in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Maloya is sung in Creole, and is born out of the rhythms brought by the Malagasy and Eastern African slaves. I hope you enjoy this weaving of melodic and deeply entrancing female vocals. In celebration of International Women's Day, this episode of Sound It Out features songs by women from around the world who make music of an experimental sort.
