This week's AEW Collision aired live on December 23 at 8 pm ET on TNT, emanating from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. The event continued AEW's momentum as they build towards the highly anticipated Worlds Ends PPV on Long Island scheduled for the following Saturday. Continental Classic - Blue League Ends! The Blue League of the Continental Classic reached a climax with pivotal matches shaping the semi-finals. Notable encounters included Eddie Kingston vs. Andrade El Ídolo, Daniel Garcia vs. Brody King, and a clash between Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli of the Blackpool Combat Club. TNT Championship and Trios Title Match TNT Champion Christian Cage responded to Adam Copeland's PPV challenge, while Thunder Rosa made a return to team up with Abadon against TBS champ Julia Hart & Skye Blue. The AEW Trios titles were on the line as The Acclaimed & Daddy Ass faced a challenge from Top Flight & Action Andretti. Results: Bryan Danielson vs. Claudio Castagnoli: The Blue League match in the Continental Classic Tournament ended in a time limit draw. Despite intense back-and-forth action, the bell sounded, and Bryan Danielson advanced to the Blue League finals. The Acclaimed vs. Top Flight & Action Andretti: The Acclaimed retained the Trios Championship, surprising everyone in the ring, including Daddy Ass, with a pinfall victory over Top Flight & Action Andretti. Brian Cage vs. Keith Lee: In a hard-hitting battle, Keith Lee emerged victorious over Brian Cage, sending a message that he's heading to Dynamite to make his intentions clear. Brody King vs. Daniel Garcia: Daniel Garcia secured a crucial victory over Brody King in the Blue League, earning three points and eliminating King from the tournament. Skye Blue & Julia Hart vs. Thunder Rosa & Abadon: Thunder Rosa and Abadon teamed up to defeat Skye Blue & Julia Hart in an action-packed tag team match. Eddie Kingston vs. Andrade El Ídolo: In a highly anticipated showdown, Eddie Kingston overcame Andrade El Ídolo, setting the stage for a Blue League final against Bryan Danielson.

What purpose did it serve? Was it a good idea to have your tag champions take a pinfall loss? Ricky Starks is suspended from wrestling for 30-days but obtained his manager's license. What does this mean? Will he not be wrestling at All In? Who will he be managing? We may be getting Powerhouse Hobbs vs. MIro at either All In or All Out and both dudes are here for it. Christian Cage cut a scathing promo ripping on North Carolina and continued his 'feud' with Darby Allin, who is also feuding with Swerve Strickland and AR Fox. Moving over to Dynamite from August 16, Chris Jericho ended up NOT being good enough for the Don Callis Family. Instead, he was duped and attacked by Will Ospreay and by the end of the night, Tony Khan made Ospreay vs. Jericho official at All In. The best story that AEW has ever told in its history continued as Adam Cole and MJF went to Outback Steakhouse and then cut a promo in the ring together, hyping up their match against each other at All In and their ROH Tag Team Title match against Aussie Open. The Acclaimed were back in the tag team fold...or so we thought. House of Black jumped them before their match could even start. Where is this story going? Is this leading to a Billy Gunn return or a Billy Gunn heel turn? To conclude their Dynamite review, they break down what might be the worst wrestling match of all time--the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Death Match between Jeff Hardy and Jeff Jarrett. What was the point of this match? We saw Karen Jarrett soaked in blood, we saw Jeff and Jeff covered in blood, we saw Leatherface make his AEW debut running everyone off with his chainsaw. This match did nothing for anyone and the Two Dudes discuss how bad it was. In their show closing segment, The Two Dudes discuss all the latest drama surrounding CM Punk. AEW introduces the long awaiting TBS Women's Championship, a secondary championship for women to fight for. I understand that people wanted this title to be the Trios Championship, but rumors came out that the TBS Women's Championship was coming first, as that was confirmed tonight. He discusses the path that brought him to this point after his father's untimely death, working with Lance Storm to prepare himself and much more. It's a really compelling conversation.
