Listen and subscribe at www.JustProWrestlingNews.com I'm Matt Carlins and this is JUST Pro Wrestling News for Tuesday, December 14, 2021. People across the world of pro wrestling are mourning the death of Jimmy Rave. He was a steady presence on the U.S. independent scene for nearly two decades…and had memorable runs in Ring Of Honor and TNA. Rave struggled with drug addiction. His health took a dramatic downturn just over a year ago when an infection led to the amputation of his left arm…and in October, BOTH of his legs. He leaves behind two children. Jimmy Rave was 39. (STINGER: WWE) The WWE Championship match at the Day 1 pay-per-view is now a 4-Way: Big E defending against Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens…and Bobby Lashley. Lashley earned his way into the match by beating all three of his Day 1 opponents in separate matches on last night's Raw. There were plenty of shady circumstances involving all three wins, but hey…he got them. Another match added to Day 1. Liv Morgan will get another shot at Becky Lynch and the Raw Women's Championship. Lynch attacked Morgan last night, crushing her arm between the ring steps and ring post. Also last night…Otis pinned one-half of the Raw Tag Champs Riddle. One-half of the women's tag champs Queen Zelina pinned Rhea Ripley with a rollup in less than a minute after Ripley got distracted by Nikki ASH getting superkicked by Carmella. Bianca Belair pinned Doudrop with a 450 splash. But Doudrop laid out Belair after the match. Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode beat United States Champion Damian Priest & Finn Balor. Ziggler pinned Balor with the ZigZag after Balor got distracted by Austin Theory taking a selfie on the ring apron. The RK-Bro-nament final did NOT happen last night. That was to pit the Street Profits against Rey & Dominik Mysterio. But WWE announced there are injuries on BOTH teams…and the match is now pushed back until December 27th. During a Twitch stream Monday night, Matt Hardy said WWE may have “jumped the gun” when it released Jeff Hardy after he walked out on a house show match in Texas earlier this month. Matt Hardy confirmed Jeff was released after he refused to go to rehab. Matt openly speculated that the results of Jeff's drug test following the incident will come back clean. (STINGER: AEW) Ring Of Honor Pure Champion Josh Woods is on tonight's AEW Dark. He'll face Shawn Spears. We'll finally see Mei Suruga in action inside an AEW ring. She and Emi Sakura take on Riho & Ryo Mizunami. Marina Shafir makes her AEW debut against Kris Statlander. Plus, Chuck Taylor vs. Ryan Nemeth…and Daniel Garcia and 2point vs. Dark Order's Evil Uno, Colt Cabana & Alex Reynolds. On last night's Dark: Elevation…Tony Nese beat Alex Reynolds. Tonight's NWA Powerrr has…The Hex defending the NWA Women's Tag Titles against Mickie James & Kiera Hogan. Plus, Dirty Dango & JTG vs. Aron Stevens & Kratos.. (STINGER: ROH) Ring Of Honor's Final Battle got the bulk of the attention - but there was also an episode of ROH TV over the weekend. Sledge beat PCO in a Falls Count Anywhere Match…EC3 beat Eli Isom…and Miranda Alize beat Chelsea Green after a distraction by The Allure. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan holds its finals in the World Tag League and Best Of The Super Juniors tournaments on Wednesday. But it's all overshadowed by Katsuyori Shibata's promise to make a major announcement on the show. The Best Of The Super Juniors final has Hiromu Takahashi vs. YOH. Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI face EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi in the World Tag League final. IWGP World Heavyweight Champ Shingo Takagi…and Kazuchika Okada will be back in action Wednesday…on opposite sides of an undercard tag match. That's JUST Pro Wrestling News for Tuesday, December 14. Survivor Series is coming up on November 21st. A clash of Survivor Series teammates is being promoted for tonight's Raw: Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens. Woods pinned one-half of the SmackDown Tag Champs Jimmy Uso with a rollup on last Friday's SmackDown. Also on that show, Naomi pinned Shayna Baszler with a rollup, but Sonya Deville restarted the match and Baszler was able to beat Naomi with the Kirifuda Clutch. Los Lotharios - Humberto Carillo & Angel Garza - beat Cesaro & Mansoor. Cesaro took the pin. The Viking Raiders beat Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss via countout...after Corbin & Moss walked out on the match. Also, Drew McIntyre beat Ricochet. The first outing for the new tag team of Kushida & Ikemen Jiro...was a loss to the Grizzled Young Veterans...thanks to a distraction by The Diamond Mine's Creed Brothers. The match went down on last Friday's 205 Live. (STINGER: AEW) A new match is set for AEW's Full Gear pay per view. It's gonna be CM Punk vs. Eddie Kingston following a heated confrontation between those two men on last Friday's Rampage. Also on that show, Red Velvet beat The Bunny to advance in the TBS Championship Tournament...Adam Cole beat John Silver...and Bryan Danielson beat Anthony Bowens from The Acclaimed. Listen and subscribe at www.JustProWrestlingNews.com I'm Matt Carlins and this is JUST Pro Wrestling News for Monday, October 18, 2021. This update is brought to you by IndyWrestling.us. (STINGER: WWE) Tonight's Raw is in Sacramento, California...and it's the last stop before Thursday's Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. Two wrestlers will punch their tickets to the show tonight. Jinder Mahal and Xavier Woods meet in a King Of The Ring semifinal. Finn Balor awaits in the final at Crown Jewel after he beat Sami Zayn on last Friday's SmackDown. A Queen's Crown semifinal has Doudrop vs. Shayna Baszler...with the winner heading to Crown Jewel to meet Zelina Vega in the final. Vega used a small package to pin Carmella on SmackDown...thanks to an assist from Liv Morgan. Baszler helped Sonya Deville win a 2-on-1 match against Naomi on SmackDown. Also announced for tonight: Charlotte Flair is set to defend the Raw Women's Championship against Bianca Belair. Belair was on last Friday's SmackDown, where she helped Sasha Banks win a non-title match over SmackDown Women's Champ Becky Lynch. The Raw Tag Champs Randy Orton & Riddle have a non-title match tonight against the Street Profits. The Profits lost a Street Fight to the SmackDown Tag Champs The Usos on last Friday's SmackDown. Also tonight, WWE Champ Big E & Drew McIntyre vs. Doplh Ziggler & Robert Roode. Rhea Ripley tweeted Sunday that her gear bag, which was also carrying her WWE Women's Tag Team Championship belt, is missing...apparently misplaced after WWE's show in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Saturday. (STINGER: New Japan) We're into the final week of New Japan's G1 Climax tournament. Monday's matches in the A Block will decide one half of the tournament final. Four men are still alive...and tied at 12 points apiece at the top of the A Block standings: Kota Ibushi, Zack Sabre Jr., KENTA and Shingo Takagi. BUT none of them control their own destiny. Ibushi and KENTA will meet in Monday's main event. If Ibushi beats KENTA...and Sabre loses his match against Tanga Loa...Ibushi wins the block. But if BOTH Ibushi and Sabre win on Monday...Sabre wins the block. If BOTH Ibushi and Sabre LOSE...Takagi can take the block...IF he beats Yujiro Takahashi. KENTA's path is the most complicated. He must beat Ibushi...and also have Takagi lose...OR have Takagi AND Sabre BOTH win. Simple, right? On Saturday's New Japan Strong… Will Ospreay pinned Karl Fredericks with Hidden Blade. After the match, TJP was revealed as the newest member of the United Empire. New Japan announced Buddy Matthews - the former Buddy Murphy in WWE - will be part of its Battle In The Valley show in San Jose on Saturday, November 13th. New AAA Tag Team Champions were crowned on Saturday night's AEW Dynamite. FTR - who entered under the masked guise of The Super Ranas - beat the Lucha Brothers...pinning Rey Fenix after hitting him in the head with one of the title belts. (STINGER: AEW) At least four matches are announced for tonight's AEW Dark: Elevation...including Nyla Rose, Emi Sakura & Diamante vs. Red Velvet, Ryo Mizunami & Kilynn King. The bracket for the 8-man World Title Eliminator Tournament is now unveiled. Matches begin on next Friday's Rampage with Orange Cassidy vs. Powerhouse Hobbs. The winner will meet the winner of a match between Jon Moxley and Dark Order's 10. The other side of the bracket will have Bryan Danielson vs. Dustin Rhodes...and Eddie Kingston vs. Lance Archer. Those two matches will happen on next Saturday's Dynamite. The bracket for the TBS Championship tournament will be revealed on Friday night's Rampage. On this past Saturday's Dynamite...The Young Bucks & Adam Cole beat Dark Order's John Silver, Alex Reynolds & Evil Uno. Malakai Black beat Dante Martin. Martin had Lio Rush in his corner. Bryan Danielson submitted Bobby Fish. Penelope Ford submitted Kiera Hogan. Jon Moxley plowed through Wheeler Yuta in less than a minute. Friday night's Rampage saw Scorpio Sky, Ethan Page & former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos beat The Inner Circle's Chris Jericho, Jake Hager & TNT Champion Sammy Guevara. Sky pinned Jericho after a distraction by Paige Van Zant set up Jericho to be hit by Jorge Masvidal's running knee strike. CM Punk beat Matt Sydal. Ruby Soho used a backslide to pin The Bunny, but after the match...Penelope Ford & The Bunny attacked Soho and knocked her out with a pair of brass knuckles. On the LIVE Buy In on YouTube Friday night...Bryan Danielson pinned New Japan's Minoru Suzuki...and Bobby Fish beat Lee Moriarty. It was officially announced late Friday night that Moriarty is now signed with AEW. That's JUST Pro Wrestling News for Monday, October 18th. Listen and subscribe at www.JustProWrestlingNews.com I'm Matt Carlins and this is JUST Pro Wrestling News for Monday, September 27, 2021. This update is brought to you by IndyWrestling.us. (STINGER: WWE) A WWE Championship match is set to kick off tonight's Raw...with Big E defending against the former champ, Bobby Lashley. Lashley laid out the challenge during last night's Extreme Rules pay per view...not long after Big E and the rest of The New Day beat Lashley, AJ Styles & Omos to open the show. Big E pinned Lashley with the Big Ending after some miscommunication between Lashley and Styles. Sasha Banks returned to WWE TV last night. It happened during the SmackDown Women's Title match between Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair. Belair appeared to be moments away from hitting Lynch with the KOD and taking back the title, BUT that's when Banks made her return. She went right after Belair. Then, after a brief staredown, Banks took down Lynch as well. As Banks made her way back up the ramp, she could be heard saying, “I'll see both of you on Friday.” Roman Reigns is STILL the Universal Champion. He pinned THE DEMON Finn Balor in last night's main event...and there's a lot to unpack here. Balor was closing in when The Usos got involved and beat up on Balor. He appeared to be down and out, but then the lights turned red, Balor's music started to play and he powered up...to the point that he was poised to hit Reigns with the Coup De Grace. That's when the top rope inexplicably snapped. The lights went back to normal. The music stopped...and Reigns hit Balor with a Spear to get the win. Charlotte Flair pinned Alexa Bliss with Natural Selection to retain the Raw Women's Champion. After the match, Charlotte ripped Lilly to shreds...and Bliss basically had a nervous breakdown over this. Damian Priest is still the United States Champion. He won a 3-Way over Sheamus and Jeff Hardy. Priest rolled up Sheamus to get the pin. The Usos beat the Street Profits to retain the SmackDown Tag Titles. Montez Ford took the pin. Liv Morgan pinned Carmella on last night's Kickoff Show. MVP underwent surgery last week to repair a torn meniscus he suffered all the way back in February. "The Camera that Listens" is the third episode that follows a conversation with artist and filmmaker Alex Reynolds. Her work constantly explores our modes of relation and affection as they appear embodied in the cinematic language. Moreover, her work both produces and is produced by modes of relation and affection through film processes, altering and expanding the narrative structures of cinema and making them more visible to the audience. In Alex Reynolds' films, viewers get invited to enter into stories and situations in a similar way to being invited to play a new game. Many of her films take place on the screen; others are events that cannot be fully seen from the outside because they include the spectator's view by their very presence in the place.  Alex' s projects show that cinema is much more than moving image but instead is a life in motion. At this point the difference between ethics and morality is a distinction making visible the unspoken scripts and narratives that also structure the public sphere of art and culture. "The Camera that Listens" brings up the gazes that filming can make possible, the gazes that inspired her to make films and thus somehow continue the gestures, rhythms and sensorial visuality of other filmmakers.

Check out the new episode with special guests Justin Idol and Tony Kincaid...right now wherever you get your podcasts.. (STINGER: AEW) Tonight's AEW Dynamite is in Charlotte, North Carolina. It's Fight For The Fallen. And a new match was just added to tonight's card - Thunder Rosa going up against Julia Hart. Already announced for tonight…a high stakes 10-man Elimination Tag Match. The AEW Champion Kenny Omega, the AEW Tag Champs Young Bucks, & the Good Brothers) vs. Hangman Page & Dark Order's Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, John Silver, & Alex Reynolds. If Hangman's side wins...he gets a title shot against Omega...and Dark Order gets a shot at the Bucks. BUT if The Elite wins...Hangman, the #1 ranked contender in AEW, will NOT get his title shot. Chris Jericho has a No Disqualification Match against former GCW Champion Nick Gage. This is the second “Labour Of Jericho”...as he seeks a match against MJF. The new IWGP United States Champion Lance Archer defends his title against Bullet Club's Hikuleo. Plus, FTR vs. Santana & Ortiz...and Christian Cage & Jurassic Express vs. Private Party & Angélico On last night's AEW Dark… Diamante used the ropes to steal a pinfall over Big Swole...and Dante Martin & The Varsity Blondes beat The Acclaimed & Ryan Nemeth. Martin pinned Nemeth. (STINGER: WWE) The main event for NXT TakeOver 36 is now official. The match was made on last night's NXT. It'll be Karrion Kross defending the NXT Championship against Samoa Joe. That was just one of the major developments from last night's show. It appears Dakota Kai will challenge NXT Women's Champ Raquel Gonzalez at TakeOver....after Kai turned on Gonzalez during an in-ring promo last night. Ridge Holland returned to NXT...and helped Pete Dunne & Oney Lorcan beat Tommaso Ciampa & Timothy Thatcher. Dunne pinned Ciampa with the Bitter End. Holland had been out of action since he sustained a knee injury last October. Adam Cole beat Bronson Reed in last night's main event...pinning him after hitting The Last Shot. Kyle O'Reilly laid out Cole after the match. Carmelo Hayes beat Josh Briggs to advance in the NXT Breakout Tournament. Imperium's Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner beat Hit Row's Top Dolla & Ashante Adonis...after some ringside interference by Legado Del Fantasma. Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter beat Franky Monet & Jessi Kamea. Catanzaro pinned Monet after Robert Stone's attempt to help Monet backfired. Mandy Rose was spotted huddling backstage with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan announced two matches for its Wrestle Grand Slam show coming up on September 4th. First, a rematch between Kazuchika Okada and Jeff Cobb. Okada pinned Cobb with a rollup at last Sunday's Wrestle Grand Slam show. After the match, Cobb said he would be returning to the U.S. But apparently...that was a LIE! Cobb showed up at Tuesday's Summer Struggle show for a post-match attack on Okada. Also announced for the Wrestle Grand Slam show on September 4th...Toru Yano will challenge Chase Owens for the KOPW 2021 trophy. (STINGER: ROH) Brain Milonas beat Joe Keys in a Pure Rules Match that premiered Wednesday on Ring Of Honor's “Week By Week” YouTube show. Last night's NWA Powerrr saw the first matches in the Champions Series. Team Pope's Trevor Murdoch submitted Team Aldis' Fred Rosser in the main event. Last night's show is considered “Round 1” in the 4-team competition. Team Pope leads the way with 10 points. Team Aldis is scoreless after the first round. A special welcome to those of you listening on OccupyProWrestling.com. If you want to bring our updates to your website...email us: desk@justprowrestlingnews.com. (STINGER: WWE) We should have a new #1 contender for the NXT Women's Tag Team Titles by the end of the night. Three teams are set to compete for that honor tonight. It'll be NXT Women's Champ Raquel Gonzalez & Dakota Kai vs. Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon vs. Io Shirai & Zoey Stark. Also being promoted for tonight's NXT: Xia Li & Boa vs. Mercedes Martinez & Jake Atlas...and Cameron Grimes will be in action. Drew McIntyre will be in the men's Money In The Bank ladder match. He pinned Riddle with the Claymore to win a 3-Way in the main event of last night's Raw. The match was supposed to be McIntyre vs. AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton, but Orton was NOT on Raw last night. So, there was a battle royal to determine who would take his place in the “Last Chance” Qualifying Match for the Men's Money In The Bank match. Riddle won the battle royal, last eliminating Damien Priest, who was back on Raw for the first time since May. We got a rematch from last week: Asuka & Naomi vs. Eva Marie…& Doudrop. This time it was Eva who hung her tag partner out to dry. Only Doudrop overcame the odds and pinned Asuka with a running splash. Nikki Cross cradled Shayna Baszler for a pinfall win. Alexa Bliss showed up at ringside during this match. Used a little hypnosis on Nia Jax for a moment - but then just resorted to kicking down Jax and Reginald before leaving. The team of Charlotte Flair, Natalya & Tamina beat Rhea Ripley, Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke. Charlotte pinned Mandy after getting a blind tag and surprising her with a big boot. After the match, Ripley delivered a chop block to Charlotte's knee. Jaxson Ryker pinned Elias with a Black Hole Slam to win their Strap Match. Samoa Joe says he and Triple H were discussing his return to NXT within hours of Joe's release from WWE back in April. And he said his new job extends beyond just an on-air role. (Samoa Joe NXT Role) Joe speaking with Fox Sports' Ryan Satin. Joe also said he's “absolutely” working toward an in-ring return. (STINGER: ROH) Bandido will challenge Rush for the Ring Of Honor World Championship at the Best In The World pay per view. Bandido earned the shot by winning the Survival Of The Fittest finals: A 6-Man Elimination Match that aired on this past weekend's ROH TV. Also on the show, Matt Taven and Dutch wrestled to a “no contest” when The Righteous got involved. That includes Vita Von Starr, and as a result of her getting involved in that match, she is OUT of the upcoming women's world championship tournament. (STINGER: AEW) On last night's Elevation… Billy & Colten Gunn beat Ryan Nemeth & JD Drake. Billy pinned Nemeth with the Famouser. Matt Hardy & Private Party beat Dark Order's Alex Reynolds, Alan “5” Angels & Colt Cabana. Angels took the pin after he was hit with the Gin & Juice. The Blade pinned Chuck Taylor with his foot on the ropes. Angelico & Jack Evans joined Blade for a post-match beatdown on Taylor. But Orange Cassidy sauntered out...to chase them off. We learned over the weekend that Trent underwent neck fusion surgery. He tweeted that it “went well”, but there's no word on when he may return to action. The date for AEW's upcoming Dynamite show in Boston has been pushed back...from September 8th...to October 27th. Mexico's AAA promotion has announced some new matches for its TripleMania show coming up in August. The Lucha Bros - Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix - will defend the AAA Tag Team Championships in a Triple Threat Match...against Hijo del Vikingo & Laredo Kid...and Black Taurus & A Mystery Partner. Also announced for the show, Murder Clown, Pagano and Chessman vs. Puma King and two mystery partners...and another Marvel Lucha Libre match. The NWA TV Title is on the line tonight's Powerrr. Da Pope defends against Sal Rinauro. Plus, Jennacide vs. Lady Frost. Officially added to Major League Wrestling's Battle Riot III match: King Mo, Bu Ku Doa and MLW newcomer Alex Kane. Omega was looking to do more damage after the match, but Christian Cage ran out to cut off Omega. Next out was Matt Hardy and Private Party. Christian was close to getting the better of them before the Young Bucks put him down with a double superkick. Hangman Page pinned Powerhouse Hobbs with the Deadeye. Ricky Starks and Hook tried to interfere...but Brian Cage ruined those plans. Also on the show, Kris Statlander pinned The Bunny with the Big Bang Theory. A special welcome to those of you listening on OccupyProWrestling.com. If you want to bring our updates to your website...email us: desk@justprowrestlingnews.com. (STINGER: WWE) NXT General Manager William Regal ended Sunday's TakeOver saying “it's time for a change”. Regal is set to elaborate on that statement on tonight's NXT. Also set for tonight's show...The Grizzled Young Veterans vs. Tommaso Ciampa & Timothy Thatches in a Tornado Tag Match...and Kushida will hold a Cruiserweight Championship Open Challenge. We've got a new match announced for Sunday's Hell In A Cell pay per view - Alexa Bliss vs. Shayna Baszler. Baszler did not appear on last night's Raw...after her run-in with Lilly last Monday. But Nia Jax was there to challenge Bliss to a match. Bliss beat Jax via disqualification...when Reginald interrupted Alexa's cover after she hit Twisted Bliss. Alexa had a staredown with Reggie after the match...and Reggie appeared to be momentarily hypnotized. Earlier, Alexa said she put Lilly in “timeout” for what she did last week...and also because WWE is going back on the road soon. Eva Marie returned to Raw last night, but we did NOT get to see her in a match - despite WWE promoting Eva vs. Naomi earlier in the day. Instead, Piper Niven accompanied Eva to the ring and she fought Naomi. The commentary team didn't sound like they knew who Piper is...despite her being part of NXT UK. Anyway, Piper made quick work of Naomi and pinned her...and then Eva Marie took the mic and announced herself as the winner of the match. The main event between Drew McIntyre and AJ Styles ended in a no contest...as Bobby Lashley and Omos...and the Viking Raiders got involved. That led to a 6-Man Tag...which ended with McIntyre catching Lashley with a Claymore and pinning him...less than a week before their WWE Title match at Hell In A Cell. Nikki Cross beat Charlotte Flair via countout...Charlotte spent a little too long jawing at Rhea Ripley at ringside...and lost track of the count. Later, Ripley pinned Asuka with the Riptide. Charlotte and Ripley had a wild brawl after the match. Team RK-Bro beat Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods... John Morrison pinned Jeff Hardy. After the match, Cedric Alexander came out to mock Hardy. That led to Hardy challenging Alexander right there...and saying he'd retire if he lost. Hardy pinned Alexander with the Swanton Bomb in about 3 minutes. Elias and Jaxson Ryker had another match...and for the second straight week, Elias took a walk and a countout loss. WWE released a YouTube exclusive match...that was held before Sunday's TakeOver. Sarray & Zoey Stark beat Aliyah & Jessi Kamea. (STINGER: New Japan) Impact Wrestling's X-Division Champion Josh Alexander will appear on Friday's episode of New Japan Strong...in a match against Alex Coughlin. New Japan's Kizuna Road tour rolls on this morning. Wednesday's show has a “Chaos vs. Bullet Club” Elimination Tag Team Match in the main event. Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii, YOSHI-HASHI, SHO & YOH vs. EVIL, Yujiro Takehashi, Dick Togo, Taiji Ishimori & El Phantasmo. Fred Rosser - who's been a mainstay on Strong - announced Monday that he's now signed with New Japan. Tonight's NWA Powerrr has a Triple Threat National Title Qualifier Match - Rosser vs. JTG vs. El Rudo - better known as Sam Adonis. (STINGER: AEW) Tonight's AEW Dark has The Acclaimed vs. Dark Order's Colt Cabana & Alan 5” Angels...Sonny Kiss vs. Dante Martin...and Chaos Project vs. Billy & Colten Gunn.. Also, Wardlow is back in action...against Chandler Hopkins. Wardlow made quick work of Jason Hotch on last night's Dark: Elevation. QT Marshall & Aaron Solow beat Deonn Rusman & Joe Keys, who's been a regular in Ring Of Honor recently. Scorpio Sky submitted Alex Reynolds in the main event. Also, Angelico submitted Mike Sydal with the Navarro Death Roll…and Julia Hart pinned Dani Jordyn. Mexico's fledgling Federacion Wrestling could be on the ropes. Several high-profile names are backing out of the promotion's first show, which is scheduled for Saturday. Those names include Andrade El Idolo...who tweeted Monday “a good arrangement was not reached with this new company.” Also, the members of La Faccion Ingobernable - Ring Of Honor Champion Rush, Dragon Lee, Kenny King and Bestia Del Ring. Rush cited “logistics problems” as the reason LFI will not be on the show. (STINGER: ROH) HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams and Rhett Titus are still the Ring Of Honor Tag Team Champions. They beat the former champs Dragon Lee and Kenny King via disqualification on ROH's weekend TV. The match was contested under Pure Rules...and when King broke up a pinfall, that caused the DQ. Also on the show, Eli Isom beat Dak Draper in a first round match in the Survival Of The Fittest tournament. Dalton Castle was ringside for most of this match. When he got up to leave, it distracted Draper...and Isom hit his brainbuster for the pin. That's JUST Pro Wrestling News for Tuesday, June 15. Also last night, Raquel Gonzalez pinned Ember Moon to hold onto the NXT Women's Championship. He's now only the fifth man in history to hold the Million Dollar Championship after he beat Cameron Grimes in a Ladder Match. Also, Xia Li pinned Mercedes Martinez. She put a choke hold on Martinez and tossed her from the stage down to the floor. The show ended with GM William Regal in the parking lot...saying he thinks it's time for a change, and then walking away. NXT is promoting a follow-up on Regal's comments for Tuesday's show. He pinned Moose with the One Winged Angel in the main event of Saturday's Against All Odds show. The show was held at Daily's Place...to prevent interference by the Good Brothers and Sami Callihan. But that didn't account for the Young Bucks. They ran out after referee Brian Hebner was knocked down. The Bucks hit some superkicks and a BTE Trigger on Moose...and Kenny took it from there. Callihan actually showed up in Daily's Place...right after the match...and went after Omega. Omega was able to escape. Then, Don Callis FIRED Callihan. Impact went the extra mile over the weekend - pulling Callihan's profile from its website, unfollowing him on Twitter. Callihan tweeted “I'll see you on Thursday”. Getting back to Against All Odds...Deonna Purrazzo pinned Rosemary to retain the Knockouts Title. Joe Doering PINNED Satoshi Kojima with a powerbomb. Alexa wanted an apology for Shayna calling Lilly a “stupid doll”. Shayna did not. She and Alexa got into some fisticuffs, leaving Shayna alone in the ring...where she stomped Lilly's head. That set off some special lighting effects and pyro...and sent Shayna retreating to the backstage, where she locked herself in a room...only to find Lilly was in the room with her. Shayna was very distressed by this. End scene. End show. Elsewhere on Raw, Women's Champ Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair were forced to team up ahead of their title clash at Hell In A Cell.... The Viking Raiders won a tag team battle royal last night - earning a shot at the Raw Tag Titles held by AJ Styles and Omos. The United States Champ Sheamus was on Raw...sporting a mask...to protect what's being called a broken nose. Ricochet and Humberto Carrillo battled to decide who will be next to challenge Sheamus for his U.S. Title. But both men were counted out...and the match was declared a draw. Kofi Kingston pinned Riddle with Trouble In Paradise. Elias and Jaxson Ryker had a brief match. Ryker got the better of the action...so Elias decided to take a walk...and Jaxson won via countout. Mansoor used a rollup to pin Drew Gulak. Jeff Hardy pinned Cedric Alexander with a Swanton Bomb. That is Hardy's first singles win since January 18th. Eva Marie is being promoted for next Monday's Raw. The Miz shed a little light on a knee injury he reportedly suffered at WrestleMania Backlash. He told Sports Illustrated's Justin Barraso, he'll “be out for a little bit of time.” Miz dismissed reports he could be out of action for up to nine months. This may be a good sign for The Miz. The United States Champion Sheamus shared a picture of himself in the hospital over the weekend - apparently, he needed surgery to repair facial injuries he suffered last Monday. It's not clear how much time he'll miss - if any. The next challengers for the Raw Tag Team Titles could be decided tonight. There will be a Tag Team Battle Royal. Also promoted for tonight's show - Toni Storm vs. Zoey Stark...a sitdown interview with Pete Dunne...and Ted DiBiase appearing in-person in the Capitol Wrestling Center. The WWE Champion Bobby Lashley issued an open challenge for the main event of last night's Raw. It was answered by...Kofi Kingston. MVP then clarified that the match would NOT be for the WWE Championship. And it's a good thing for Lashley that it wasn't...because Drew McIntyre got involved and Kingston got a pinfall win over Lashley. That was the second match of the night for Kingston. He also rolled up Randy Orton for the pin and the win...after a trombone-playing distraction performed by Xavier Woods. The New WWE Women's Tag Champs Natalya and Tamina defended their titles against the former champs Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. Alexa Bliss walked out on stage. Fire erupted from the ring posts. The force of the blast knocked over Reginald at ringside. And the brief distraction gave Natalya and Tamina an opening to hit the Hart Attack for the win. John Morrison was on Raw and appeared to be fine after his run-in with the zombies Sunday night. Unfortunately, it appears no one has heard from The Miz since he was dogpiled by the zombie lumberjacks Sunday night. Getting back to Morrison, he met Damian Priest in another Lumberjack Match - this time with just plain old wrestlers surrounding the ring. Priest Hit The Lights to pin Morrison. Also last night...a timely distraction from Rhea Ripley helped Asuka score a rollup win on Charlotte Flair. The United States Champion Sheamus pinned Ricochet with a pair of Brogue Kicks. And a 15-Man Battle Royal ended with Joe Keys and LSG as the last two men in the ring. They will meet one-on-one somewhere down the road...and the winner will get a spot in his choice of the TV Title or Pure Title rankings. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan announced Monday it will resume live events on Saturday...with a show in Nagoya. That will be followed by three straight dates in Korakuen Hall...on May 24, 25 & 26th. Rey & Dominik Mysterio dethroned Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode last night. They are the first father-son tag team champions in WWE history. Rey had to go it alone for much of this match...after Ziggler and Roode attacked Dominik backstage. But Dominik returned at the end and got the pin on Roode. That was the only title change last night. Roman Reigns choked out Cesaro to retain his Universal Championship. Seth Rollins showed up after the match to beat up on Cesaro. Rhea Ripley dispatched Charlotte Flair long enough to hit Asuka with the Riptide and pin her to retain her Raw Women's Championship. Bianca Belair used a rollup to pin Bayley and retain her SmackDown Women's Title. Damian Priest beat The Miz in a Lumberjack Match. The lumberjacks...were zombies. True story. (STINGER: AEW) AEW is just weeks away from its first live touring since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. It announced dates and locations for three upcoming Dynamites - the first to be held away from Jacksonville's Daily's Place in NINE months. Dynamite will be at Miami's James L. Knight Center on July 7th...followed by two Wednesdays in Texas - July 14th at the H-E-B Center near Austin...and July 21st at the Curtis Culwell Center in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Tickets for all three shows go on sale Friday morning. AEW says it will comply with all local guidelines concerning COVID-19 safety - that includes seating capacities. AEW also announced a pair of rescheduled live events. First, in St. Louis on FRIDAY, November 5th. That's being called an “AEW TNT television taping”. Also, a live Dynamite in New Orleans on January 12, 2022! We'll get another look at former Lucha Underground Champion Marty Casaus on tonight's AEW Dark. He'll go one-on-one with Jungle Boy. Also tonight, Brian Cage vs. Bear Bronson. Plus, Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston will be in tag team action. On last night's Dark: Elevation...Moxley delivered a Paradigm Shift from the second rope to pin Danny Limelight. Dark Order's Alex Reynolds pinned Private Party's Isiah Kassidy with a rollup. After the match, Matt Hardy and Marq Quen helped Kassidy lay out Reynolds, John Silver and Colt Cabana. Also, Pro wrestling lawyer Mark Sterling pitched himself as the one to manage Jade Cargill, and she was at least willing to listen as she followed Sterling backstage. (STINGER: WWE) TWO title matches on tonight's NXT. Raquel Gonzalez defends her NXT Women's Title against Mercedes Martinez. Santos Escobar gets his rematch for Kushida's Cruiserweight Title. It's Two Out Of Three Falls. Plus, NXT Champ Karrion Kross in a non-title match against Austin Theory...and Killian Dane vs. Imperium's Alexander Wolfe. A new match added to WrestleMania Backlash - The Miz vs. Damien Priest in a Lumberjack Match. Damian Priest pinned John Morrison on last night's Raw...after The Miz's attempt to help Morrison backfired. The gave Priest the right to choose the stipulation for the Backlash match. Raw Women's Champ Rhea Ripley pinned Asuka last night in a non-title match...as Charlotte Flair looked on. Those women will be in a 3-Way for the title at Backlash. Charlotte and Asuka were also on opposite sides of a 6-Woman tag to open the show. It was brought to a screeching halt when Alexa Bliss suddenly appeared on-stage - riding her swing set...alongside Lilly. Bliss said she's keeping her eye on “someone”. The match resumed...but then, Shayna Baszler appeared to lose control of her legs. Asuka swooped in with a shining wizard to get the pin. Charlotte knocked out Asuka after the match. Alexa and Lilly chuckled as they looked on. End scene. An ugly ending to a match between Sheamus and Humberto Carrillo. Carrillo was delivering a sunset flip powerbomb from the apron to the arena floor, but Sheamus landed on Carrillo's left leg. The ref waved off the match and declared Sheamus the winner. A win for Carrillo would've earned him a shot at Sheamus' U.S. Title. The main event was a non-title match between WWE Champ Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre. But Braun Strowman interfered and power slammed BOTH men as the show ended. Jinder Mahal returned to Raw with a win over Jeff Hardy. Shelton Benjamin pinned Cedric Alexander with a T-Bone Suplex. Also, the team of R-K-Bro and Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston beat AJ Styles, Omos, Elias and Jaxson Ryker. Randy Orton pinned Elias with an RKO. After the match, Orton RKO'd Woods and Kingston. Riddle was befuddled. (STINGER: ROH) On this past weekend's Ring Of Honor TV, Angelina Love beat Quinn McKay, thanks to a timely distraction by Mandy Leon. EC3 & Flip Gordon beat The Briscoes. EC3 pinned Mark Briscoe after Gordon hit Mark with a chain. But EC3 never saw Flip's cheating. And Brian Johnson's open challenge was answered by...PCO. Johnson kicked out of PCO's moonsault...but he later beat Johnson via submission. The NWA Tag Team Titles will be defended tonight on Super Powerrr. (STINGER: New Japan) COVID-19 issues are piling up for New Japan. On Sunday, New Japan announced it has learned of 7 new positive tests. Those individuals are NOT being named. New Japan says they either have “mild symptoms or are asymptomatic”. Last week, New Japan announced two positive tests. Concerns led to six wrestlers being pulled from the second Wrestling Dontaku show. New Japan also postponed two major stadium shows scheduled for this later this month. No new dates have been announced. That decision came after the extension of a state of emergency in Japan. The order restricts attendance at sporting events to 50% capacity - with a maximum of 5,000 fans allowed. This is causing changes and uncertainty for other Japanese promotions. Big Japan announced over the weekend that its show next Sunday at Korakuen Hall will go on as scheduled - WITH fans in attendance. (STINGER: WWE) Tonight's Raw has a WrestleMania rematch - WWE Champ Bobby Lashley vs. Drew McIntyre in a non-title match...just days before Lashley defends the gold in a 3-Way against McIntyre and Braun Strowman at WrestleMania Backlash. Also tonight, Charlotte Flair teams up with the WWE Women's Tag Champs Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler...to take on the team of Asuka, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke. Plus, the Raw Tag Champs, AJ Styles and Omos team with Elias and Jaxson Ryker for an 8-man tag against Team R-K-Bro...and Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston. After losing a “Loser Leaves NXT UK” match that aired last week, Amir Jordan posted a video on his social media over the weekend - saying he may need shoulder surgery. A couple items worth mentioning from the latest episode of Main Event. Jider Mahal returned to action with a new entourage - Veer and Shanky. Both are prospects of Indian descent who were part of the Superstar Spectacle special back in January. As for Mahal, he pinned Jeff Hardy with the Khallas. For the second straight episode, Ricochet faced off against Mustafa Ali. Ali used the ropes to hold down Ricochet last time. This time, it was Ricochet using the bottom rope to steal a win. (STINGER: AEW) The spotlight is on Danny Limelight on AEW Dark: Elevation. He'll be the focus of Paul Wight's Showcase segment tonight...and then, he'll go one-on-one with Jon Moxley. Also tonight, Private Party's Isiah Kassidy vs. Dark Order's Alex Reynolds. Plus, Dr. Britt Baker, Eddie Kingston and Jade Cargill are all in action. The company confirmed that late Tuesday night. It says those individuals are “mildly ill”. Their names are NOT being released. New Japan says other wrestlers and staff who were in contact with the individuals are being monitored...and tested. The COVID-19 concerns began just before the second Wrestling Dontaku show on Tuesday. That's when New Japan announced two wrestlers had developed fevers. New Japan canceled El Desperado's scheduled Junior Heavyweight Title defense against YOH. It also pulled a tag match where Kazuchika Okada & SHO were set to face Minoru Suzuki & Yoshinobu Kanemaru. Again, the names of the wrestlers who tested positive for COVID are NOT being released. We should also point out that the Wrestle Grand Slam show at Yokohama Stadium is 10 days away. Turning our attention back to the wrestling ring, Will Ospreay successfully defended his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, pinning Shingo Takagi in a nearly 45-minute main event on Tuesday. (STINGER: AEW) More than a year after AEW first announced “Blood & Guts”...the match will finally happen tonight on Dynamite. The Inner Circle and The Pinnacle will do battle under traditional “Wargames” rules. Also tonight, there's a 4-way tag team match for a shot at the Young Bucks' tag tiles - SCU vs. Jurassic Express vs. the Varsity Blondes vs. The Acclaimed. Kenny Omega & MT Nakazawa go up against Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston. Cody Rhodes vs. QT Marshall. Plus, Dr. Britt Baker in action...and Miro will appear. On last night's Dark...Dark Order's Evil Uno, Stu Grayson & Alex Reynolds beat the team of JD Drake, Cezar Bononi & Ryan Nemeth. (STINGER: WWE) Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell are the new NXT Women's Tag Team Champions. They dethroned Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon in a Street Fight last night. The show opened with Isaiah “SWERVE” Scott beating Leon Ruff in a Falls Count Anywhere match. SWERVE had some backup - a new faction that includes Ashante Adonis, Briana Brandy...and AJ Francis - who's been seen on WWE's Hidden Treasures show on A&E. Francis took out Ruff at the end of the match. The former Anthony Henry made his NXT debut under his new name, Asher Hale. He lost to Cameron Grimes. Tommaso Ciampa & Timothy Thatcher beat the Grizzled Young Veterans. Thatcher submitted Zack Gibson after Thatcher got a hold of Wade Barrett's shoe and hit Gibson square in the head with it. An in-ring promo by Karrion Kross was interrupted first by Kyle O'Reilly...then Pete Dunne..and finally the returning Finn Balor. All four men brawled. That allowed Johnny Gargano and Austin Theory to attack Kross as well. Earlier, Theory said something he shouldn't have said in front of Scarlett...and he has a match against Kross next week. TWO title matches are also announced for next week. Raquel Gonzalez defending her NXT Women's Title against Mercedes Martinez...and Two Out Of Three Falls - Kushida putting his Cruiserweight Championship on the line against Santos Escobar. Former NCAA Division I wrestling champion Gable Stevenson is a hot prospect in pro wrestling. WWE is interested...but Stevenson says he has yet to put pen to paper. (Stevenson WWE Talks) Stevenson speaking with Lucha Libre Online. Major League Wrestling will run a show in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in September. CEO Court Bauer told the Dallas Morning News...MLW will follow local COVID-19 safety guidelines...but he expects them to run at “full capacity” in the 2,000+ seat NYTEX Sports Centre. Tonight's Fusion has Lio Rush defending the MLW Middleweight Title against the former champ Myron Reed. Plus, Laredo Kid vs. Gringo Loco. TWO new champions in Tokyo Joshi-Pro. On Tuesday's “Yes! Wonderland” show...Miyu Yamashita (ya-MAHSH-ta) won the Princess Of Princess Title...and Hikari Noa is the new International Princess Title holder. (STINGER: WWE) Tonight's NXT is promoting the first interview with Adam Cole since TakeOver. Bronson Reed faces Austin Theory. If Reed wins, he gets another shot at Johnny Gargano's North American Title. Also, Mercedes Martinez vs. Dakota Kai...and Kushida & MSK vs. Legado Del Fantasma The WWE Championship match at WrestleMania Backlash...is now a 3-Way. Bobby Lashley will now defend against Drew McIntyre AND Braun Strowman. Strowman earned his place in the match by pinning McIntyre in the main event of last night's Raw. A distraction by T-Bar and Mace gave Strowman the opening he needed. The show opened with T-Bar & Mace beating McIntyre & Strowman via countout...after McIntyre hit Strowman with an errant clothesline. Strowman hit McIntyre with a powerslam after the match. One week after Charlotte Flair suspended indefinitely, and fined, for attacking a referee...she was BACK on Raw. She apologized to the ref she pummeled...and after some prodding the ref apologized to Charlotte. Sonya Deville was on hand for all of this and she lifted Charlotte's suspension. This was apparently ALL news to Adam Pearce. Rhea Ripley, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler beat Asuka, Naomi and Lana. Jax pinned Lana. Earlier in the match, Dana Brooke & Mandy Rose strolled out...threw water at Baszler...which led to Jax slipping on the wet floor. All this in retaliation for Jax throwing flowers at Brooke & Rose earlier. Deville decided to punish her former tag partner Rose with a match against Charlotte Flair. And Charlotte pinned Mandy with Natural Selection to win that match. I guess R-K-Bro is gonna be a thing. Riddle and Randy Orton teamed up to beat Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin. Damien Priest, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods pelted The Miz, John Morrison, Elias and Jaxson Ryker with tomatoes...then won a trios match against them Humberto Carrillo was back on Raw to once again get in the face of the United States Champion Sheamus. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan joined other promotions Monday...in calling off some shows due to a new COVID-19 state of emergency in parts of Japan. Three shows at Korakuen Hall scheduled for May 8th, 10th & 11th are now canceled. New Japan has a big show on Wednesday - with Roppongi 3K defending the Jr. Tag Titles in the main event...against El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru. Also, Toru Yano will defend the KOPW 2021 provisional title against EVIL. It'll be a Creation Of Darkness Blindfold Match. Blindfolds/hoods will be hung on each ring post. A decision can not be scored until you use one to blindfold your opponent. A couple big singles matches on the Road To Wrestling Dontaku on Monday. It was a good day for Los Ingobernables De Japon. Tetsuya Naito delivered THREE Destinos to pin Great-O-Khan in the main event. And, SANADA pinned Aaron Henare after a TKO and a pair of moonsaults. (STINGER: AEW) Some fresh faces on tonight's Dark...including former Lucha Underground Champion Marty Casaus (ka-SAUCE) making his AEW debut against Brian Cage. Also, The Blade & Private Party vs. Dark Order's Evil Uno, Stu Grayson & 10. On last night's Dark: Elevation...Big Swole & Red Velvet beat the dysfunctional team of Nyla Rose & Madi Wrenkowski. Rose was bullying Wrenkowski. Wrenkowski was giving Rose an attitude. Rose eventually turned on her - hitting a powerbomb on Wrenkowski and then just walking away. Matt Sydal pinned Joey Janela in the main event. Also, Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky beat Dark Order's Alex Reynolds and Alan “5” Angels. (STINGER: ROH) On Ring Of Honor's weekend TV…The first outing for Violence Unlimited was a disqualification LOSS in a trios match against La Faccion Ingobernable. Brody King used a chair on Bestia Del Ring to draw the DQ. The show ended with The Foundation running out to beat up BOTH factions. Earlier, Eli Isom and Dak Draper wrestled to a 15-minute time limit draw. It looked like were gonna get 5 more minutes, but Dalton Castle arrived on the scene first - sporting a new look AND new BOYS. Castle kicked both guys in the groin to put them down...and then, danced away. Next weekend's ROH TV will have HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams' first defense of his TV Title...against Tony Deppen. Tonight's NWA Powerrr has Da Pope defending the NWA TV Title against Tyrus. Major League Wrestling will debut on VICE TV this Saturday at Noon. It sounds like this show will be a look back at MLW history. The new content is still premiering on Fusion every Wednesday...at least, for now. That's JUST Pro Wrestling News for Tuesday, April 27. Flair was REALLY upset after the match...and beat up the referee. The consequences for those actions were revealed on Raw Talk. (Woods Reports Charlotte Suspension) Xavier Woods delivering the news on last night's Raw Talk. WWE spent all weekend promoting a first-time-ever match between Randy Orton and Braun Strowman for last night's Raw - but that match never happened. Instead, we got Orton vs. Riddle...and it was Riddle getting the upset win - reversing the RKO into a rollup to get the pin. As for Strowman, he came out to rescue Drew McIntyre from a 2-on-1 handicap match against T-Bar and Mace. That led to a straight-up tag with Strowman teaming with McIntyre. And it ended with them unmasking T-Bar and Mace...who got the win via disqualification. Naomi and Lana beat the WWE Women's Tag Team Champs Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler in a non-title match. Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke got involved in this one...and basically taunted Jax until she left the ringside area. That left Baszler alone to take the pin. The world lost the great Jon Huber (aka AEW’s Mr. Brodie Lee and WWE’s Luke Harper) unexpectedly on December 26th, and so today, many members of his AEW family come together to celebrate his life!  Chris Harrington, Brodie’s childhood friend from Rochester, NY, and current AEW Vice President of Business Strategy recalls their backyard wrestling shows. Brandi Rhodes remembers the first time she and Cody met Jon on the indie scene or “shindies” as Brodie called them. Excalibur and referee Bryce Remsburg recall their time with Brodie on the indies. Arn Anderson explains why he refuses to call Jon “Luke Harper,” and what it was like for him during his final days at WWE, and why he never enjoyed the singles success he should have at that company. John Silver and Alex Reynolds from the Dark Order have stories about the Dark Order’s hilarious BTE skits and trying to make Brodie break character and laugh! The Young Bucks share their bond with Brodie over family, kids, and twitter DMs! Christopher Daniels has thoughts on Brodie’s development as a wrestler, and the amazing match the two of them had on Dynamite. And FTR, who knew Brodie from their WWE days, reveal their plan for the “Radicalz,” their group text thread, and what they already miss most about their friend.

Dark Order’s John Silver and Alex Reynolds bring a whole new meaning to “Unrestricted” as they talk Beaver Boys, Bloody Nips, and “slops!” They shed a little light on the status of Dark Order numbers, the AEW locker room, BTE filming, and why John Silver might be the best kisser in all of AEW. They shoot on their journey to AEW, the New York indie scene, and working MSG for WWE. Plus, Alex sets the record straight on his Dynamite injury, eating steak with the Exalted One, and competing on Dancing With The Stars. And if you want to know if Ref Aubrey and Tony Schiavone #JoinDarkOrder, be sure to listen to the bitter (and very funny) end. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
