First up this week, it's Best Medicine, a drama comedy on Sky and the streaming service Now. It's a US remake of Doc Martin, the popular ITV series starring Martin Clunes. This new series features Josh Charles as Dr Martin Best, a straight talking doctor who escapes from his high paid hospital role in Chicago to become a GP in Maine.Next, there's a new documentary on Channel 4, Free Nelson Mandela. This three part series follows Nelson's life story from activist and revolutionary to prisoner, and how his campaign for freedom during his 27 year imprisonment and his activism paved the way for democracy for South Africa. Finally, Disney+ brings us Alice and Steve, a new comedy written by Sophie Goodhart (who wrote for Sex Education). This dark comedy follows best friends Steve (played by Jemaine Clement) and Alice (Nicola Walker).
