Stephan joins YFM to talk the real pressing issues in today's society. We are blessed to know such a wise man. He has gout.
Can't stop won't stop. We waste no time with this episode. The guys jump straight into it, doing a quick fit check with their Walmart v. Target challenge (2:30). Then, they transition into a conversation of would they fight for a girl, and should guys apply pressure (11: 10). It's only a matter of time before the YFM? Podcast blows up, so the guys fantasize about life when they get all big and famous, discussing who would go Hollywood, and how money would change them. After that, they take the opposite approach, if they had to start from zero, how would they get back into a decent financial situation (45:02). Speaking of which, some days you may feel like you at zero, so the guys get into what they do when they feel that way and how they keep pushing (59:52). A lot to unpack with this listen. Let's get started!

Nana Kwame (Nockus) is a famous radio presenter known from Ghana's top radio station for the youth, YFM Ghana. He is one of the founding fathers of new music in Ghana by making way for previously underground artists like Shatta Wale. Grammy award winners Burna Boy and Wizkid made a name for Nigeria ans African artists all over the world by winning at the 63rd Grammy Awards on March 14th, 2021. Ghana and Nigeria are like brothers as English speaking countries in West Africa, mostly dominated by surrounding French countries. In this episode we talk about if Ghana is ready to receive a Grammy. We also dive into the music industry and why there is not a lot of Ghanaian music played outside the country as much compared to Nigerian and South African music. His main advice for upcoming artists is to keep links with the people who helped put you on in the industry. Key takeaways: *Rely on people in the industry with nuggets of knowledge *Pushing the Ghanaian agenda in other (African) countries *Focus needs to be on excellence *Make music that is founded in Ghanaian originality *Know the history and the roots of your countries music to create *Don't focus on unnecessary controversy and drama Want to be on the Music Vibes podcast or sponsor an episode? Sorry we a day late but this one is worth it. The boys start off talking about a topic they've been dying to talk about for a minute, sports. More specifically, trying to give Reggy perspective on Westbrook (3:10). After getting that out their system, some of the Yuh Feel Me? squad linked up for a vibe, and Garnelli tells the story (30:00). Then, Luidjy opens up a deeper conversation about moving away from what you're accustomed to (35:24). Can't explain to you guys how the the boys ended the podcast, but WARNING: if you don't have a strong stomach or get grossed out easily, you may want to skip the rest (43:16). The YFM here to keep it one hundred, yuh feel me?
