The Black Sensei Show cant be what it is and not pay homage to the loss of a cultural great in Chadwick Boseman. What the movie Black Panther and Boseman did to shift the cultural narrative around African stereotypes and putting Africa, although fictional in a different spotlight worldwide. The cast and writers of Black Panther put together a masterpiece that will be appreciated for generations to come. From the African hosts of the Black Sensei show we thank you Mr. Boseman for what you were able to do during your time on the screen and in life. Growing up in the 90's and 2000's we saw a lot of originality when it came to movie and Tv shows. As we have gotten older Hollywood has tried to remake many of our childhood favorites only to disappoint and enrage true Day 1 fans. We also run down some of the more prominent and sometimes corny black characters and heroes in TV and comics and also discuss the possible racism behind a lovable Dragonball character.
