Welcome to another episode of "Men in Tech Empowering Women!" This mini series introduces successful men in the tech industry who are not only very skilled at what they do, but are also powerful advocates for women in tech. This week's episode features Jacqueline's amazing husband and best friend, Travis K. Corley, Sr. It's an honor to have him back on the podcast. Travis is partnered with Beauty Supply Express - a service-based beauty company that is focused upon bringing beauty to the home via a mobile application. Think DoorDash, but for the beauty industry. Travis has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and a Master's degree in Nonprofit Organizational Leadership. Therefore, on paper, he is not expected to be involved in tech. He is who I call an "accidental techie," someone who did not originally plan to be in tech - yet his skills have led him there. He has wonderful advice to share for the woman who has found herself in tech, or feels like she has to give up her other passions in order to be involved in tech.
