Poor George. He’s never seen any movies. Rather than mourn their dear friend, Travis and Dan have taken it upon themselves to show him what he is missing. But they don’t stop at showing him famous movies! They also help George to understand how each film fits into the Great Narrative of Film. Not only THAT the film of the week is significant, but WHY and HOW. Also, they make jokes and stuff.

But will Dan prefer this Steven Spielberg/Chris Columbus/Joe Dante effort to his beloved Elves (1989)? Will Travis convince the guys of the merits of this creature feature? Can Travis translate "the late 1980's" into something George can understand? I guess you can't win them all. Everything is coming together in Beverly Hills: Robocop, 48 Hrs., Bad Boys, Friday the 13th Parts 2-8, and even Fast Times at Ridgemont High.  But will George welcome this charming classic for what it is or will he see it as a rehash of all the things he's already seen? And that mess of a motivation makes for a real interesting watch. Can Travis make it through the entire episode without falling into the clutches of Nostalgia?
