Send us a textWhat happens when our prayers ignite an explosive transformation within us? This episode promises to explore the power of dynamic prayer and the vibrant shifts it can trigger in our spiritual journey. We draw fascinating parallels between dynamic characters in literature and the sheer force of scientific phenomena, urging listeners to embrace change as an integral part of faith. With vivid imagery akin to dynamite, we discuss how the first sparks of change occur internally, challenging us to remain attentive to divine interventions in our lives, and to engage actively in our spiritual communities, inspired by the enduring message of Psalm 23:6.Journey with us through a critical moment in history when the Christian faith expanded its horizons beyond Jewish boundaries. Our focus lies on the groundbreaking encounter between a Roman centurion and Peter, where cultural tensions and spiritual breakthroughs collide. Witness Peter's bold step across traditional barriers, guided by a divine vision, as the Holy Spirit flows freely among the Gentiles. This powerful narrative sets the stage for a deeper understanding of faith's expansion amidst the challenges of persecution and a rapidly growing movement, marked by Peter's arrest under King Herod's oppressive regime. As we venture further, we delve into the miraculous story of Peter's imprisonment and his unexpected escape, a testament to the unwavering power of faith and prayer. This episode is a heartfelt call to action, encouraging listeners to embrace Jesus for dynamic change and to trust in divine provision. With stories of obedience and miraculous deliverance, we invite you to commit or recommit to your faith journey, standing firm and expecting miracles. We close with a heartfelt blessing, encouraging each listener to experience the joy of God's presence and the empowerment of living out faith within their community.Cornerstonehttps://www.cornerstoneaz.org/Follow Jesushttps://www.cornerstoneaz.org/follow-jesusLife Groups https://www.cornerstoneaz.org/life-groupsGiving https://cornerstoneaz.churchcenter.com/givingChurch Center App - Download then add Cornerstone Christian Center in Avondale, AZiOShttps://itunes.apple.com/us/app/my-church-center/id1357742931?mt=8&ls=1&ign-mpt=uo%3D4Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ministrycentered.churchcenter----Instagram https://www.instagram.com/cornerstoneazFacebookhttps://www.facebook.com/cornerstoneaz.orgTwitterhttps://twitter.com/cornerstoneaz.org

Brother of Jared- 3 answers to Prayer

The brother of Jared was told it was time to build barges to cross the waters to the promised land.  The brother of Jared and his people had built barges before so they knew there were three things they needed help with.  The barges were tight…they didn't let air or water in, they would need fresh air. The barges didn't have any way to steer.  They were kind of like submarines.  The barges were also very dark.  They needed light.  The brother of Jared prayed about all 3 of these problems.  The Lord told the brother of Jared they could make a hole in the top and bottom of the barges and then put a stopper in the hole.  When they needed air they could pull the stopper out so they could have fresh air.   The Lord also told the brother of Jared He would make the winds blow to guide them to the promised land, so they did not need to steer the barges, they just needed to trust the Lord.  Lastly the Lord asked the brother of Jared what he wanted the Lord to do to make light in the barges.  The brother of Jared suggested the Lord touch 16 objects he had molten out of rocks.  God did and the brother of Jared saw His finger!  Then he asked God to show himself to him.  God answers our prayers… sometimes He tells us the way, sometimes he tells us to have faith, and sometimes He asks us to come up with a solution.

So today I will explain in a way that you won't have to be worried about mixing them up. The devil tries to scare us from praying and seeking God's answer for then it allows him to be in control.****When you understand the difference between signs and visible answers to prayer, you will have the confidence to seek God in all situations and know without a doubt that He wants you to seek Him anytime for any concern with all your heart. Philippians 4:6 states, “Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Anxiety is Always The Result Of Evaluating Some Future Possible Circumstance Without Considering God Will Be There With You In It! You are trying to figure it out yourself, not trusting that God will be involved with you when the time arrives. So, let anxiety be the “red flag”, trigger to immediately pray and consider God in your future and even your present concern. Start by talking to God, praying, about your situation every time you think of it and you will see that your trust in God will increase and the anxiety will decrease because you have cast your cares on Jesus, 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your care upon Him(God); for He careth for you. (8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour." Don't wait until it gets so bad that you feel “all I can do now is pray”-pray when you recognize the first sign of anxiety.***There are many very important subjects not being taught in the Christian Community, many being taught incorrectly based on false beliefs, and some beliefs are completely made up and have no mention whatsoever in the Bible. Looking for your thoughts ideas and topics.   Road blocks suck…. Road block in Florida… totally lost and late for a flight…       Luke Happy B day! 1 Peter 3:7 7 Husbands, in the same way, treat (live with) your wives with consideration (wisdom) as a delicate (weaker) vessel, and with honor (one with value) as fellow heirs of the gracious gift of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.    Hindered = road block, sharply cuts off the desired result… making the activity tedious.   Prayer gets tedious when you're not getting results. And maybe you've checked your whole life and everything seems good but you have forgot to check. How well you honor your wife.      ....Husbands, in the same way, treat (live with) your wives with consideration (wisdom) Consideration  knowledge gleaned from first-hand (personal) experience, connecting theory to application; "application-knowledge," gained in (by) a direct relationship Yesterdays podcast, I started out by saying in order for this to work, you must be a man of God. And today is much the same, and that you need to understand your wife with wisdom, but not to manipulate her, but in fact, to show wisdom, to make her more like Christ.    Weaker - frail and unimpressive physically and morally…helpless. Look, let's be honest as men there are times where our wives can get on our nerves simply because they seem helpless. We tell them what to do. We tell them how to solve the problem we tell them steps they can take and they just don't seem to follow through. And that's when we need wisdom and we need to treat them with love, regardless because they are weaker.
