While Gotham City is an integral part of the Batman mythos, Batman is an international hero, and there are plenty of stories that take Batman out of the grim confines of his home city and out into a wider world. This week, we read three such stories: one a tour of the great cities of Europe with the Joker by Batman's side, one a tale of Batman's visit to his ancestral lands of Scotland, and a Bronze Age tale that stretches across much of the world and shows just how much a character can change from his first appearance to a slightly later one and how much he can turn back later. Batman: Europa # 1-4 Batman: The Scottish Connection The Lazarus Affair (Batman V.1 # 332-335) Check out our current ranking list at www.comicsxf.com/batchat-rankings/ Thanks to Geri Nonnewitz for our podcast logo Follow the show on Twitter @BatChatComics and support the show on Patreon at www.patreon.com/batchatwithmattandwill
Da allora, ha lavorato senza sosta per DC Comics, Marvel e Image Comics, in particolare su titoli come Hellblazer, Batman: Europa, All-Star Batmna, Amazing Spider-Man e Darth Vader: dark lord of the Sith. Nel 2009 realizza storie per What if? Astonishing X-men e per Iron Man: Titanium per la Marvel Comics.

This week’s episode was recorded on October 9th, 2016. While Mike (and Tia) were off at NYCC, Nick hosted the show this week with Brian and Kate. The show this week focused on retconning in comics and when it’s good or bad (specifically in Big 2 books). Despite all reasoning, they managed to put together a great episode, but near the end things go a bit off the deep end! And if you have a moment, please take the I Read Comic Books Listener survey! It's Star Wars weekend so Jim and Eric talk...DC Comics. Yep, they stick with their mission statement and talk about every DC Comics comic book that came out this week. The podcast may be filled with Superman, Batman, and the Justice League, but Eric's girlfriend steals the show with her podcast debut and it's a doozy. In fact, it literally took Jim's breath (and ability to speak) away. We all hope that Eric is still alive and that you all enjoy the show. ----more---- DC Comics Reviewed: Batman and robineternal #11, Justice League #46, We are Robin #7, Justice League United #16, Batman Europa #2, Superman: American Alien #2, Martian Manhunter #7, Batman: Arkham Knight: Genesis #5, Secret Six #9, Batgirl #46 and Harley Quinn #23 DC Comics News: Big #50 issues coming in March (Batman, Superman, Green Arrow and Aquaman featured), Vixen coming to Arrow, Ra's al Ghul to appear in Legends of Tomorrow, White Martians to appear in Supergirl and Supergirl Digital First book officially announced with details.
