Il a été utilisé comme arme de guerre pendant des années mais maintenant il s’est libéré du contrôle du Projet Rising Spirit et il n’est pas trop content.C’est le point de départ de la série de Tim Seeley et Brett Booth, une série 100% action au bon accent des films des années 80. Vous n’attendez pas un comics qui joue sur le psychologique comme le Bloodshot Reborn de Jeff Lemire, mais si le coté blockbuster un peu décérébré ne vous dérange pas vous passerez un bon moment. He is currently hard at work on his creator-owned comic, the sci-fi/action miniseries Stained, which is being published by 451 Media (Red Dog, Sunflower). The book features art by Yusuf Idris and letters by Simon Bowland. In this episode, David takes listeners through his process behind crafting the world of Stained with an emphasis on character development and creating emotional connections. David also expresses his thoughts regarding self-publishing as a necessity for creators to tell their stories.

Two interesting books came out this week, and we dive into the deep end of what we liked, and what we didn't like, about each of them. Harada continues to take on the world in Imperium, and Bloodshot continues to take on himself in Bloodshot Reborn. Spoiler alert! We discuss these books in full, and do not shy away from revealing and discussing any plot points. If you don't want to be spoiled by our discussion, read the books before listening.

Three new books are out today from Valiant Comics for us to discuss and review. Each of these books was very different from the others, but each gave us something to love.

This week’s episode was recorded on August 2nd, 2015. In a magical, last-minute chance, Mike and Nick were joined by Jeff Perry, host of the After Image podcast. After their comic picks for the week (The Wicked + The Divine #13, Nailbiter #15, and Bloodshot: Reborn #5), the gang dives into Jeff’s podcast and his love for Image comics, then they try to (and only sort of do) answer the question, “How do you drop comics from your regular pull list?” While they never truly answer the question, a discussion about their experiences in buying comics, how to pre-order comics (via Kieron Gillen), and the advantages and disadvantages of buying digital and print comics. Kick off your shoes, get comfortable and get ready for almost 3 hours of the Graphic Novice Comic Book Podcast.  The opening segment takes up roughly an hour, as VF & Nickel catch up and discuss the Graphic Novice T-Shirt campaign, cabin renovations, July 4th, gun control and fireworks. After the non-comic related banter comes to an end, the "Comic News" segment focuses entirely on a run down of all the books scheduled for release or relaunch following the end of Marvel's "Secret Wars" event. VF and Nickel discuss each book and share their relative enthusiasm for the title. Michael Leal of the "Who The What Now" Podcast and Danger Entertainment helps us ring in our sixty fourth episode, which we almost dedicate to the end of DC Comics' "Convergence" event.  But...
