They were able to find Kamala because her use of her nani's bangle tapped into a mystical energy known as Noor or “light”. This energy comes from the Noor dimension. A dimension that Najma and her companions have been trying to get back to for a long time after they were exiled. The group is sometimes known as the Clandestine in their dimension but also go by the name djinn, and Kamala has the same power inside her. Even though the Djinn have been part of Kamala's childhood nightmares, she asks Bruno to help her activate her bangle to open the gateway for the Djinn, but after some research using Dr Selvig's papers on inter-dimensional travel he tells Kamala that the energy required makes it too dangerous. “If you help them go home, some things might go boom”. However, unwilling to wait for her to find a safe way to help them, the Djinn attack Kamala and her brother Aamir's wedding. Hazel & Katniss & Harry & Starr

To kick off book four, we're checking in on a Brenna fave with a doozy of a hook: Runaways, which features a group of kids who discover their parents are supervillains and set out to stop them. Joe isn't quite as enamoured, in part because the art doesn't sit right with him (leading to a discussion of comic sizing and who the intended audience for this imprint was). Still, there's something laudable about a book that presents a tragic backstory for its characters and then lets them move past it.Less successful is Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage's TV series, which takes ages to get going and mistakenly spends too much time on the parents. While it has a sunny teen vibe and great music, and Rhenzy Feliz and Lyrica Okano are well cast, the show is simply too labourious to get into!Wanna connect with the show? The Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Director SP, Agent Haley and Agent Michelle discuss the Runaways season 3 penultimate and finale episodes “The Broken Circle and Cheat The Gallows.” The Agents debrief you on how Runaways season 3 is the end of Marvel TV as we knew it since 2013, that The Broken Circle felt like a good finale, Michelle called Gert’s sacrifice, that it only took 3 seasons to get the kids working together with the parents, Tamar’s colorful wordsmithing, that Dale isn’t totally helpless, that the end was a weak magical showdown, that all the Agents wished Old Lace would have been used more, the Lady Agents help SP understand Molly’s role in the penultimate episode, Direct SP thought Chase’s time travel was a great payoff from season 1 but the Lady Agents had issues with it, there was not a payoff for Evil Alex, the use of magic aligned with Marvel’s use in Doctor Strange, the Agents pontificate over whether any of these characters could transition to the MCU, where Kevin Feige could have been used in Spaceballs and what about that wonderful Elizabeth Hurley’s boob window.   THIS TIME ON LEGENDS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.:   Runaways “The Broken Circle” and “Cheat The Gallows”   MARVEL’S RUNAWAYS “THE BROKEN CIRCLE” AND “CHEAT THE GALLOWS” [4:48]   Marvel’s Runaways “The Broken Circle” and “Cheat The Gallows” was available on Hulu on December 13th, 2019.   Main Cast:   Rhenzy Feliz                                          Alex Wilder Lyrica Okano                                         Nico Minoru Virginia Gardner                                     Karolina Dean Ariela Barer                                           Gert Yorkes Gregg Sulkin                                          Chase Stein Allegra Acosta                                        Molly Hernandez Angel Parker                                          Catherine Wilder Ryan Sands                                           Geoffrey Wilder Annie Wersching                                    Leslie Dean Clarissa Thibeaux                                   Xavin Ever Carradine                                       Janet Stein James Marsters                                      Victor Stein Brigid Brannagh                                     Stacey Yorkes Kevin Weisman                                      Dale Yorkes Brittany Ishibashi                                   Tina Minoru James Yaegashi                                     Robert Minoru Elizabeth Hurley                                     Morgan le Fay Ozioma Akagha                                      Tamar Scarlett Hefner                                       Bronwyn (as Scarlett Byrne) Emily Alabi                                            Cassandra Rachel Gage                                          Brianna Timothy Granaderos                               Lucas Keisuke Hoashi                                      Mr. Kwan Cody Mayo                                            Vaughn Martin Martinez                                      Bodhi John Ales                                               Quinton The Great Myles Bullock                                         Anthony 'Awol' Wall DeVaughn Nixon                                     Darius Davis Evelyn Angelos                                      Young Molly Kathleen Quinlan                                    Susan Ellerh Elliot Fletcher                                         Max Lauri Hendler                                         Mediator Grant Jordan                                          Gil Ashley Wigfield                                      Jules Granville Ames                                      Curtis Vladimir Caamano                                  Gene Hernandez Brianna Ishibashi                                   Judith Minoru Minae Noji                                             Tokiko Minoru Carmen Serano                                      Alice Hernandez Amanda Suk                                          Amy Minoru Marilyn Tokuda                                       Akari Minoru Nicole Wolf                                            Destiny Gonzalez   “The Broken Circle”    Directed By: Geeta Patel https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1203789/?ref_=tt_ov_dr 19 directing credits starting 2008 1x The Mick 1x Fresh Off the Boat 3x The Mindy Project 5x Superstore 2x Sweetbitter 1x Runaways 1x The Magicians   Written By: Russ Cochrane https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1492404/?ref_=ttfc_fc_wr1 13 writing credits 2000 7x Whistler 3x Flashpoint 4x Orphan Black 2x Runaways   Written By: Kirk A.
