Black Cannabis Week (BCW22) is a collective web of educational and informational experiences to empower Black communities to move toward social and political change. In collective work, we aim to educate, destigmatize, and advance social justice efforts. The Diasporic Alliance for Cannabis Opportunities (DACO) was established to help promote the awareness of cannabis in Black and Brown communities. Like other concerns and similarities, inequities in cannabis exist throughout the diaspora. We desire to ensure marginalized communities access and information to the opportunities in cannabis to generate positive change. Why are organisations ‘working on diversity' but ignoring the power staff networks could hold? Our twenty-first episode on The BTN Podcast is with Cherron Inko-Tariah MBE, Founder of The Power of Staff Networks, on the role of staff networks within an organisation, especially during times of change. She talks about staff networks and how organisations need to be looking at inclusion as much as they're looking at diversity...Their reality needs to match the perceived image. “If they're serious about a healthy culture, a sustainable culture, then they have to be serious about people and harnessing the diverse talent of an organisation.” Links: Cherron's Q&A: https://www.thebtn.tv/exclusive-content/article/power-staff-networks-cherron-inko-tariah Cherron's Book - The Incredible Power of Staff Networks: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Incredible-Power-Staff-Networks/dp/191012561X/ref=sr_1_1/259-4901877-8947549?ie=UTF8&qid=1541418452&sr=8-1&keywords=the+power+of+staff+networks The power of staff networks website: https://www.thepowerofstaffnetworks.co.uk/ Visit Us: www.thebtn.tv/join Join the Conversation: www.linkedin.com/company/the-busi…rmation-network/ Follow Us: twitter.com/TheBusinessTN
