A native of Ottawa, Ontario, Arlene Quinn is an award-winning performer and songwriter who has shared the stage with Kenny Rogers, Loretta Lynn, Lorrie Morgan, and Terri Clark. Her previous releases have been played in more than 63 countries. Arlene's voice is rich and smooth with a vast vocal range. She is also a natural entertainer with a positive onstage energy. It is no wonder that she has over 25,000 followers on social media. Beginning with her first performance at age five, she has risen to incredible heights in country music. When she re-entered the music scene in 2016, she came back with a bang. Her first single, “Nowhere To Go But Up” was #1 on Music Road Radio for 12 weeks and earned her Top Artist from the Chris Top Program in Nashville. In 2017, “Life is Good” won Top Song at Nashville's Country Music Week and Arlene was featured in the Canadian Women Songwriters' Showcase in Nashville. Then came “Jackpot” in 2019 that has over 35,000 streams on Spotify, reached #3 on the International Country Music Chart, was in the top five downloaded songs on Nashville's Music Row Chart and has over 17,000 spins on US radio! Alene's current single “Wonder Woman” is an upbeat and inspiring song about never giving up, the power of friendship and a reminder that inside each of us is the heart of a hero

THIS WEEKS LOCAL SPOTLIGHT...Shines on Stratford, Ontario's own...Justine Chantale!Jackie chats with Justine about her brand new, recently released, radio single and ep!!"One of the most promising artists in Canada's up-and-coming music scene, Justine Chantale has been described as the small-town girl with the big voice, and even bigger heart. After all, for this Stratford chanteuse, music has been a driving force for as long as she can remember.""I started singing when I was eight, in the school choir — but I never really got into playing guitar or taking voice lessons until later on," she explained. "It wasn't until I stumbled upon an open mic that I really realized what I could do."And while the would-be singer/songwriter had been unsure about which direction her career might take, mom and dad had already set her on an epic path of inspiration, one paved with a mutual love of country music and classic rock."I grew up listening to a lot of country, my mom was into musicians like Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, while my dad was all about CCR and Blue Rodeo." she said with a smile. "That appreciation really created a lot of diversity in the kind of music that would influence me down the line. I'm pretty lucky that way."Now, showcasing a blend of country and pop, Justine has continued to make a name for herself across the region, not only hitting the stage during Country Music Week at the 2016 Canadian Country Music Association Awards in London, Ont., opening for landmark artists including Jess Moskaluke, Chad Brownlee and Bobby Wills, but a number of venues including London Music Hall and Trackside Music Festival, as well as recently opening for The Proud Sons at London's downtown staple, Rum Runners.Justine will also be hitting the studio next spring, continuing to work on her second EP, a follow-up to 2015's Stepping Stones."For me, writing and playing has always been a form of self-expression, but also a way to get my point across to people and to connect," she said. "Sometimes words don't always do the job — but music does. Getting up and performing is so therapeutic ... and if it can really touch people, that's why I do it."

Cadence Grace, Ann Chaplin and Stacey Zegers have had major successes in their own right as solo female artists, but never imagined that together their collective talents would catapult them to an entirely new level as Runaway Angel. Individually, they have toured Canada, the United States, Europe and Britain, opening for major acts like Dean Brody, Aaron Pritchett, One More Girl, Jessie Farrell, Aaron Lines, Terri Clark, Emerson Drive, and Doc Walker. It all began in 2009 when Stacey and Cadence met on set during the filming of CMT’s Karaoke Star, where both were finalists and became fast friends. Cadence then met Ann at CCMA Week in 2011 and they clicked instantly. In late 2013, the three friends joined forces and together Runaway Angel was born.  The girls’ first online release in January 2014 titled ‘Our Story’ was the first song they wrote together as a trio and it landed them in the Regional Finals for the 2014 CBC Searchlight contest. Summer of 2014 was filled with ground breaking experiences for the trio, who enjoyed their first opening spots as a group for Dierks Bentley and Tim Hicks, and played in the Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase. They were invited to present an award at the Country Music Association of Ontario Awards and attended 2014 Country Music Week in Edmonton where they performed in the Coast to Coast Showcase at West Edmonton Mall. March 9th, 2015 was the release of their debut single ‘Run Angel Run’ co-written with Ole Publishing’s Bruce Wallace and produced by award-winning producer Jason Barry. Stacey, Ann and Cadence are excited to release their debut EP this spring. Runaway Angel earned 4 nominations at the 2015 CMAO Awards.
