Kristen Luman began her fascination with the paranormal at the early age of 11 when she formed the Ghost Club at her elementary school. She graduated in Psychology focusing on parapsychology and human development. She went on to become a certified hypnotherapist. Her expertise has led to her being asked to use her insight on shows such as Ghost Mine where she was co-lead investigator, Behind the Screams, Ghost Hunters, the Ghost Hunters reboot where she was again the co-lead investigator as well as The Dark Zone. So much to discuss! Plus an all new “Ghost Report” on “Photoics” from Lisa Morton! #Hypnothereapy #GhostMine #GhostHunters #DarkZone #Photoics

Hunter Shea is an American author (Slash, Misfits, Ghost Mine), as well as a podcaster (Monster Men, Final Guys). Patrick and Brennan are joined by guest host, Erica Robyn.
Today’s guest is Patrick H.T. Doyle. For most of his life Patrick has been an avid outdoorsman and has developed a reputation for investigating paranormal activity in some of the country's most remote and dangerous locations, venturing where other ghost hunters fear to tread. Since Ghost Mine (Syfy Network 2013-2014) ended, Patrick appeared as one of the hosts of Reelz Channel's Behind The Screams, and can be seen on the popular TV shows The Good Doctor, iZombie, The 100, Riverdale, Once Upon a Time, The Magicians and others. He has also starred in a number of short films playing serial killers, an alien and a time traveler. In addition to his film work, Patrick is also an accomplished author. Some of his work includes the critically acclaimed Y.A. series Edgar Font's Hunt For A House To Haunt, the graphic novel The Ghost of Zombie, and the best selling memoir Ghosts From The Ground Up. Patrick Doyle’s experience with the paranormal began with a ghostly encounter as a 7-year-old kid, and his fascination with the supernatural has never ceased. While building his name as a paranormal investigator, Patrick and his frequent collaborator Kristen Luman were selected by an Oregon based mine owner to investigate The Crescent Mine, one of the most haunted locations in the Pacific Northwest. Their research was documented for the hit SyFy Channel series, Ghost Mine, which lasted for two seasons. #GhostMine #Tommyknockers #QueenMary Ghost Magnet Podcast Links Facebook: @GhostMagnetTV Instagram: @ghost_magnet_podcast YouTube: https://tinyurl.com/yxk5t53z Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/ghost-magnet-with-bridget-marquardt/id1451559688 Libsyn: https://ghostmagnet.libsyn.com NEW - The Ghost Magnet Shop: https://www.cafepress.com/ghostmagnet Bridget Marquardt Bridget Marquardt is best known to television audiences and pop-culture connoisseurs as the sweet and brainy star of E! Stacie Overman – Angel Kisses: No More Cancer — An Emotional Journey of Love, Loss, Courage and HopeAired Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 5:00 PM PST / 8:00 PM ESTIn January of 1998, I lost my partner Judi after a courageous three year odyssey with cancer. Our relationship was life changing and affirming, with lessons on healing, personal and spiritual growth and a deeper understanding of why people are brought together for these lessons. That relationship opened the way to wonderful and beautiful things that I would come to share with others in the ensuing years. It also brought the synchronicity of meeting other people who shared common experience and how it changed their lives.A few years ago, I had the synchronistic blessing of meeting Stacie and Larry Overman through a podcast I co-hosted and produced. They became wonderful friends but I did not know their story until Stacie reached out to me last year and asked if I would read and review her new book. When I finished the book, there were tears in my eyes and warmth in my heart; this was the recognition of someone who traveled a path similar to mine and also emerged with new insights and a deeper connection to spirit and the angelic realm.Stacie Overman worked in the corporate world for many years. She used her God given supernatural gifts of knowledge and discernment to help inspire and motivate her clients. She never understood the profundity of these gifts until a few years after her near death experience while battling cancer and the loss of her soulmate to cancer. It started coming together after she appeared on two seasons of SyFy’s hit TV show, “Ghost Mine”. This is when she began to meet other people like her that helped to explain what she was experiencing was real and she wasn’t crazy. She now coaches beautiful souls to heal from trauma, fear and anxiety so they can understand divine messages and align with their soul’s purpose. It allows them to live a life full of peace, love, joy and experience more miracles here on earth. Her website is https://www.stacieoverman.com/ and she joins me this week to discuss her deeply personal and life affirming book, Angel Kisses: No More Cancer — An Emotional Journey of Love, Loss, Courage and Hope.Visit the Destination Unlimited show page https://omtimes.com/iom/shows/destination-unlimited/Connect with Victor Fuhrman at http://victorthevoice.com/#StacieOverman #AngelKisses #VictorFuhrman #DestinationUnlimited

Episode 6 - Celebrities Starts off with Joe and Scott welcoming you back to the show. (You know the Paranormal episode was better than the previous episodes - Joe's comment was "I can do it on my own, but it is definitely more fun with someone else.) So, having only put out 5 episodes up to this point, but there has absolutely been an increase in the number of listeners out there, all we can say is: "Thank you, you are all awesome. We even have our first review on iTunes. Thanks to the listener, Lynn, for the 5 star rating and super funny review. I hope the camping trip goes well for you. And, thanks again, to all of you listeners out there for spreading the word. I even have my first couple of followers on twitter. Congratulations and thank you to Kyle Bush for preventing Brad from winning the last NASCAR race and picking up his third win of the season. And the Twins are really doing well. I think the world, and especially America, has an unhealthy fascination with celebrities. We tend to put them on pedestals, and worship at their feet. However, Joe and Scottie do not. Celebrities are just people, sometimes extremely talented people, but still just people. There are times we can get glimpses into the true characters of celebrities. For instance when sports figures get arrested for different offenses - such as prostitutes on a lake cruise, or drugging and raping women. But there are other celebrities that have shown excellent character traits off the screen. Keanu Reeves, for instance, has a private cancer foundation to help children's hospitals and cancer research. I am not here to talk about him, no matter what a great guy he is. My first question of the day is: If you could have dinner, just dinner, with a celebrity, who would it be and why? I limit my list to 5. Joe's list begins "Jay Leno and Tim Allen top my list if for no other reason than we can talk cars, and the humor would be fantastic. Josh Gates, from Expedition Unknown and Destination Truth, takes the third spot with his humor and stories of his travels that never made it to the screen. (As long as Joe gets to pick the dinner, no crickets for him, thanks though.) Jack Johnson, and of course, Adam Carolla the king of podcasts, round out Joe's list. Scott's picks Richard Rawlins from Fast & Loud, Dale Jr from NASCAR, Avenged Seven Fold, and Slip Knot. Ad time, Apparently Home Robotics Inc. got a touch cranky about our repeated mentions of a different robotic company last week, and announced plans to launch their own sex bot kit. You will need a vacuum cleaner motor, although their first thought was a motor from Harley Davidson, but decided against it for a variety of very good reasons. They are claiming that bot will really suck. For the second question of the day, if you could have a laminated list of celebrities that you would be allowed to sleep with, even though you are in a relationship - who would be on that list? When Joe was younger, ummm, much younger and the X-Files was new, he really had a thing for Gillian Anderson, the actress who played agent Scully. One night she was on Letterman, or was it late night with Jay Leno. . . I guess it really doesn't matter. She was on an interview, maybe she was having a bad night, or something, but she just came across as an airhead - instant boner loss. And, not just for her, but pretty much every female celebrity. There are still a couple of extremely attractive looking lady celebrities out there. First on Joe's list Scarlett Johansson. And second on his list is Kristen Lumen the redheaded lady from Ghost Mine. And that is all he could come up with. Scott also could only come up with two for his laminated list: Lena Scissorhands - lead singer from Infected Rain, Alice Eve actress from She's Out of My League. We do have our Facebook page up, please come leave your comments. Follow Joe on Twitter, just search #Tescasterone. Shout out to Ian in Kansas City, Andrew at the Second Floor Lids Store in the Mall of America, Mustafah at Custom One Kiosk, and Jon of Sea of Vapors band. Looking forward to talking to you all next week, Scott and Joe
Welcome to the Tescasterone Podcast Episode 004 Scott has the week off, as he has his kids this week. . . So, you are stuck with me, your host, Joe. Unfortunately, neither Scott, nor I got to watch the race this week, but the results are in: Brad Keslowski wins at Martinsville. Congrats Brad. Twins have lost 5 of their last 9 games of Spring training. They are still listed at 50 to 1 odds of winning the World Series, and listed at 16th place to take it. Wasn't able to come up with anything interesting for the ad of the day. So, instead, I bring up O'reilly's Auto Parts listing for the Flux Capacitor (from Back to the Future) Part #121G. Thanks to O'reilly's for having a sense of humor. QotD: Are Ghosts Real?Since Scottie wasn't able to join me for this podcast, I thought I would bring on 'Tescasterone Story Time'. Here is the story of my home in Hopkins, MN. I was married pretty young, and my wife at the time was interested in spooky old homes, so we purchased a home built in 1902. It was probably built before that, but that was date listed on the title. In 1998 she took her own life, and I hosted the wake in my home. Getting the place ready for the wake, my mother came over and help clean. I left to get something, and she stayed behind to continue setting the place up. As she was in the kitchen, washing dishes, the stereo in the living room came on (no, she doesn't remember what song was playing). She went into the living room, and turned it off. Back in the kitchen, she is busy again, and again the stereo comes on. She promptly walks out the front door and sits on the front step, to wait for my return. All the animals were accounted for, and none of them were active enough at the time to step on the remote. Eventually I got a roommate, John. He never experienced anything that he told me. He got a girlfriend (she never experienced anything spooky, either), who became his wife and moved out. Next roommate, however, was JC. He had some shit happen to him. He and I met at work, so alot of our conversations happened there. I opened the store one day and JC came in later. "Hey, Joe, did you come home earlier today?" I tell him that I opened the store, and have been here the whole time. He proceeds to tell me that he had taken a shower and left the towel on the bathroom floor. (yes, typical bachelor) He Went upstairs to get something to eat, and when he came back down, the towel was hanging on the rod. A couple of nights later, he was laying down to go to sleep, and felt something distinctly female climb in to bed with him. He turned his head, and saw nothing was there. Yet, he could smell her perfume, and kinda still feel her pressure on the bed behind him. A week or so later he purchased three tiny gargoyles to line up on the TV (Gargoyles have been used for centuries to send evil spirits away) facing his bed. Every night he would come downstairs only to find them turned and facing the wall - even when I was away on vacation. Eventually he, too, got married and moved out. The next couple of roommates never had any experiences, at least not that they ever told me about. I sold the house to an investor who renovated the property to set up for leasing. In the past ten years, I have never seen anyone live there, I drive by after snow storms, and I never see any tire tracks in the driveway. The place may be haunted by my wife? Maybe other spirits? Who knows. A couple of years ago I went down to Kansas City to do a ghost hunt with Darkness Dave (of Beyond the Darkness podcast fame) at the Belvoir Winery. Formerly the winery was an Oddfellows Orphanage/Assylum. I met Dave, and several of the cast from the Ghost Mine tv show. They all gave little talks, and then we did the investigation. After, I got back to Minnesota, I went through all the digital recordings, etc, to see if evidence presented itself to me. Nothing. No experiences, personally. Yet, I remain open minded. Do ghosts exist? Again, not a clue. Just an interesting theory. Updates on Tescasterone happenings: Teepublic.com - got one design up (lettering in three colors, to match whatever color shirt you want to buy) Have another shirt going up on Saturday the 30th of March Got a twitter account, but, have no clue how to really use it. Shout outs to: Blue at the level three Caribou at the Mall of America - ask for her by name. And to Jameson the coolest fire spinner in the South West Metro area of Minneapolis, North of the river.
HELLIER director, Karl Pfeiffer joins us to discuss the break out paranormal investigative series, for free now on YouTube! For hundreds of years, locals have reported startling run-ins with monsters that dwell in the area’s caves and caverns, mass sightings of unidentified lights in the skies, and contact with mysterious entities that seem to originate from beyond this world. Now, a new documentary from Planet Weird heads deep into the heart of coal country in an effort to discover the truth behind the latest outbreak of high strangeness, a search which brings them to Hellier, Kentucky.Hellier is a five-part, cinematic documentary series that investigates a new and intriguing supernatural mystery. What began as a plea for help from a frightened man, oppressed by what he believes are extraterrestrial forces, leads a small crew of paranormal researchers to a dying coal town, where a series of strange coincidences uncovers a decades-old mystery with implications as deep and far-reaching as the caverns beneath Appalachia.Karl Pfeiffer is a portrait and conceptual photographer based out of Northern Colorado.Blending his talents in fine art, his interest in video, television, and movies, and his passion for those things epic, romantic, and mysterious about the world around him, Karl now concentrates most of his creative pursuits toward photography. His primary focus and style revolves around blending the traditional sense of photography as a documentation of the world around us in a moment, with new technology that allows those images to be maniuplated toward the surreal and the impossible. It's here, he finds, that those things supernatural, mystical, Platonic, and meaninful can start to leak into images otherwise firmly based in the physical world grounded in light and shadow. He finds this blending subtly in wedding photography and couples shoots, as well as more overtly, in his conceptual and portrait work. His clients include album covers for Fearless Records and the bands BlessTheFall, My Enemies and I, The White Noise, and The Ghoulies. He does book and cover design for his own novels as well as for the novelist Jude Fawley. His portfolio also includes portrait work for the web network The Dark Zone, as well as cast members from Ghost Hunters, Kindred Spirits, Ghost Mine, and Ghost Hunters International, as well as advertising for The Stanley Hotel and the Ghost Hunter Cruise.Karl is always excited to take on new projects, whether in the traditional realm of portrait and wedding photos, or the non-traditional, where you may be interested in those thin places where reality breaks down. Fatal glitches. A corporate cover-up. And something haunting the depths… Three years ago, a horrific accident closed ACM-1134, the energy mine on Ketarus-4. Now the mine has reopened, and Justin Barclay has joined the first new batch of miners hired to begin harvesting the energy stored below the planet's surface. But as he settles into his new job and home, Justin quickly discovers that the mine's polished exterior is masking a host of hidden dangers—some of them fatal. When the mine's technology begins malfunctioning, Justin's coworkers mysteriously disappear, get injured, and some even die. Justin knows something else is going on—and he's the only one willing to do something to stop it. With his job and his life on the line, Justin works to uncover the mine's darkest secrets to save himself and his fellow workers. But the company doesn't like Justin digging where he shouldn't be, and they're determined to put a stop to his inquest once and for all—at any cost. The first time I put my face in front of the camera was on my popular web series, Haunted Hoax. In each episode I would present videos claiming to be "Real Ghost Footage" or "Proof of the Paranormal." I would then examine these videos and put them to the test. I was able to debunk and recreate most "hauntings." After a couple of years of doing this, my concept became a popular tv show on Syfy without my involvement in any way whatsoever, so I slowly dissolved my series. From there I created other show concepts, including Ghost Addiction, which turned the cameras away from the ghosts and focused them on the people and teams investigating them. It was to be a show that explored the lives of those passionate about the paranormal — and like myself, those who are addicted to the unexplained. The idea gained interest from producers, but never came to light. Because of that work I attracted the attention of Syfy producers and was cast in what became one of the highest rated Syfy shows of 2013, Ghost Mine (also the most expensive paranormal show ever created). Here I was able to live an amazing adventure and share with paranormal fans a new and exciting idea, which broke the "ghost show" model. We were the first team of two who were able to conduct the longest paranormal investigation to date — Seven months at one location! After Ghost Mine new doors opened up for me. Most were in the form of terrible reality show concepts. I was offered to star in over a dozen new paranormal shows, and I turned down all but two, which ended up going nowhere. After a couple of years of meetings and contracts I decided to explored a new art form — Acting. I have always loved film and I'm obviously passionate about storytelling , but never thought I had what it took to become different characters on screen.

What happens when the paranormal unexpectedly appears along your path? Could ghosts actually be real? Larry Overman, owner of the Crescent Gold Mine in Sumpter, Oregon, shares his stories of the "Ghost Mine" featured in the popular paranormal Syfy Channel reality series. Expanding beyond the two-year run of the series and based on popular demand from fans, Larry has now launched a new Haunted Mine TV site allowing subscribers to view the goings-on at the mine via continuous looping and real time streaming. The original mining crew from 2010 will be returning, along with new additions. There will even be opportunities for lucky fans to work at the mine, with the potential of earning up to $10,000 in one week. Larry hopes to help create more jobs in Oregon through his efforts and also is supporting a number of charitable causes, donating $1 of every subscription to organizations such as The Wounded Warriors Project, ASPCA, St. Jude and Camp UKANDU. Larry has discovered a rare metal compound at the mine which has a wide range of potential uses, from space travel to cancer to mental illness treatments. Syfy's hit unscripted series GHOST MINE is back with a ripping season 2, Wednesdays at 10PM (ET/PT). In the 12 episode second season of GHOST MINE, the hardened team of gold miners and paranormal investigators PATRICK DOYLE and KRISTEN LUMAN head back to Sumpter, Oregon's Crescent Mine to continue their search for fortune and phantoms at the notoriously haunted and potentially rich mine. The Crescent Mine welcomes a few additions to the team this year including the surprise return of a familiar face, a third generation miner joining his father and grandfather in Sumpter, an upgraded model of the popular RIPA (Remote Investigator of Paranormal Activity), and a four-legged excavation expert – a pooch named “Little Boy.” Patrick Doyle has been fascinated by the paranormal since he was 7-years-old, when he came face-to-face with a shadow figure and, instead of running away, went towards it. Patrick is also the author and illustrator of award-winning books for Young Readers and teens, and invents his own ghost hunting equipment, including the RIPA (Remote Investigator of Paranormal Activity), a cutting edge, remote-controlled device that can collect data from locations deemed too dangerous for people to enter. Kristen Luman began her research into the paranormal field while attending Portland State University, where she graduated with a focus on paranormal psychology. Kristen conducts field experiments regularly and is also a certified hynotherapist.

The Ghost Mine lies in the remote woods of Oregon and is one of the richest gold mines in the United States that was abandoned 80 years ago when a series of tragedies gave it an infamous reputation for being haunted. Now, as a new owner he has decided to take on the notorious legend and reopen the mine, assembling a colorful team of miners – both seasoned and new – to battle the elements along with a pair of experienced paranormal investigators, in hopes of finding a fortune.

It was inevitable: taking two of reality TV's most popular subgenres -- gold and ghosts -- and mashing them together into Syfy'sGhost Mine, which premieres this Wednesday at 10pE/P. In the woods of eastern Oregon lies the rich Crescent Mine, which was shut down 80 years ago by tragedy and superstition. Current owner Larry Overman, a Texas oilman with no mining experience, was determined to reopen the mine. But the first crew of miners he brought in was scared off and he was running out of time and money. In comes a new crew lead by grizzled veteran Stan "Papa Smurf" Griffith. This strong-willed and superstitious group of miners will face the day-to-day challenges of mining, aided by the paranormal investigators who unravel the mysteries surrounding the mine, including historic Masonic connections and a spirit who has been known to haunt the area for generations. We will be talking with those paranormal investigators - Kristen Luman and Patrick Doyle. Luman began her research into the paranormal field while attending Portland State University, where she graduated with a focus on paranormal psychology. Kristen conducts field experiments regularly and is dedicated to discovering what's real and what's imagined. Patrick Doyle has been fascinated by the paranormal since he was 7-years-old, when he came face-to-face with a shadow figure and, instead of running away, went towards it. Patrick invents his own ghost hunting equipment, including the RIPA, a cutting edge, remote-controlled device that can collect data from locations deemed too dangerous for Patrick and Kristen to enter.
