Ezra 7:10 (NLT) – “This was because Ezra had determined to study and obey the Law of the Lord and to teach those decrees and regulations to the people of Israel.” In this episode of Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall explores the life of Ezra and the specific reason why the "gracious hand of God" rested upon him. By dedicating himself to studying, living, and teaching the Word of God, Ezra opened the door for divine favor that impacted every area of his mission, from securing resources from kings to ensuring the safety of his people. Pastor Sumrall explains that this same gracious hand brings essential elements for success in ministry: wealth for God's work, success in major tasks, the arrival of needed leaders, and protection from enemies. He encourages leaders to prioritize the Word, trusting that God will provide the abundance and safety necessary to fulfill His call. ---- Don't forget to like, subscribe to Cathedral of Praise TV https://www.youtube.com/c/cathedralofpraiseTV/?sub_confirmation=1,and hit the bell icon

What if one transformed life could change a family? What if one family could influence a community, one community could impact a nation, and one nation could help shape the world? From the frozen Arctic to the southern edge of South America, the Americas contain extraordinary diversity, beauty, creativity, influence, opportunity, and spiritual need. Some people live in global cities shaped by technology, commerce, education, sport, entertainment, and political influence. Others live in Indigenous settlements, mountain villages, border communities, coastal regions, islands, forests, rural farmlands, or neighbourhoods affected by poverty, migration, violence, disaster, and economic uncertainty. Yet behind every headline, national crisis, policy debate, and statistic are real people—people created in the image of God. 31 Days of Standing in the Gap for the Americas: The Americas Before God — When Nations Cry and Heaven Listens: A Journey of Life Stories, Prayer, Reflection and Kingdom Transformation is more than a prayer guide. It is a thirty-one-day journey through North America, Central America, South America, the Caribbean, the Arctic regions, and the islands of the seas. Through compelling life stories, thought-provoking questions, Scripture, reflection, prayer, declarations, and practical action, this book invites readers to see the nations through the eyes of God. The journey explores migration, family separation, Indigenous dignity, racial reconciliation, leadership, justice, poverty, healthcare, education, natural-resource stewardship, disaster resilience, environmental responsibility, sport, media, culture, missions, Church unity, and national transformation. Each day moves beyond awareness into informed intercession and practical Kingdom engagement. Whether you are an intercessor, pastor, missionary, disciple-maker, ministry leader, businessperson, educator, public servant, small-group facilitator, student, or believer seeking a deeper burden for the nations, this book will challenge you to think differently, pray intentionally, and participate more fully in God's redemptive purposes for the Americas. Because nations matter. Because communities matter. Because families matter. Because every soul matters. And because God is still looking for men and women willing to stand in the gap. We are living through intense division in our society. But the problem of division is not unique to our time. The first book of the Bible, Genesis, is filled with division. In this sermon series, “Jacob: God's Hope for a Divided People," we will study the story of Jacob (Genesis 25-48) to consider the great hope God gives us for redemption and reconciliation across seemingly irreconcilable differences.

It came during a time when the early Church was facing challenges and needed guidance on how to establish Zion and prepare for the Second Coming of Christ. The revelation provides profound insights into the nature of light and truth, the importance of education, and the establishment of the School of the Prophets. It emphasizes the need for spiritual and temporal preparation, encouraging members to seek learning by study and faith, and to live in harmony with the laws of God to receive His blessings.SPARK 1: A HOUSE OF CREATIVE ORDER================OBJECT LESSON: “He Hath Given a Law Unto All Things”: Creeping CaterpillarsSPARK 2: FIELD OF DREAMS===================================OBJECT LESSON: “Draw Near Unto Me”: Floating Hand SketchbookSPARK 3: THAT GOOD PART=============================OBJECT LESSON: “Entangle Not Yourselves in Sin”: Removable Ribbon TrickCHAPTERS=========00:00:14 INTRO00:02:45 QUICK GLANCE00:06:15 SPARK 1 INSIGHTS00:15:57 SPARK 1 OBJECT LESSON00:19:54 SPARK 1 QUESTIONS00:21:40 SPARK 2 INSIGHTS00:33:23 SPARK 2 OBJECT LESSON00:37:36 SPARK 2 QUESTIONS00:40:01 SPARK 3 INSIGHTS00:48:04 SPARK 3 OBJECT LESSON00:52:48 SPARK 3 QUESTIONS00:54:48 WRAP UPLINKS=====WEB: https://www.gather.meckmom.comETSY: https://www.etsy.com/shop/meckmomINSTAGRAM: Instagram @meckmomlifePODCAST: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast...CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST DISCLAIMER=================================This podcast represents my own thoughts and opinions. What is the speed of trust? It's an odd question, since rapid acceleration and safe, human connection seem antithetical—moving in opposite directions. And there's the point—and the reason we don't attempt lasting friendships while driving Formula 1 cars, in the backstretch of an 800-meter race, or while racing each other to the top of the corporate ladder. Speed implies competition, a desire to be better than the other. Trust cannot rush, for it unfolds only when our usual pride and combativeness have been set aside. The God who inhabits a universe where stars collide and light itself moves at more than 670,000,000 miles per hour sent His Son to a tiny planet. He came to walk long, winding roads with us, start conversations in homes and at wells, and play with children. “Though He was God, He did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, He gave up His divine privileges; He took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being” (Phil 2:6-7). There is no hurrying the pace of trust, and trust is the Father's fondest hope for us. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God” (Eph.2.8). When we trust His grace, we give ourselves to the One who has loved us through all eternity. Now stay in grace. -Bill Knott
