261 Lien Louwagie Over Hoe Ze Startte Met Gig&Grow | What's On Your Mind? (Dutch/Nederlands)Hi ik ben Peter en elke week geef ik jullie een podcast over personal development, mindset & verkoop. What's On Your Mind ? is een 1 uur conversatie. Iedereen heeft een verhaal. En ik wil dit verhaal van mijn gast naar boven brengen. The origin story van Gig & Grow vindt plaats in New York, waar Lien Louwagie woonde en werkte. And the rest is history.Vandaag schrijft deze onderneemster haar eigen verhaal en combineert ze haar internationale werkervaring in diverse markten en sectoren met haar passie voor de digitale revolutie en 'the future of work'.We gaan dieper op haar verhaal en blikken terug op de lessen en kijken vooruit !Connecteer met Lien op haar socialshttps://www.linkedin.com/in/lien-louwagie/https://www.gigandgrow.be/https://www.instagram.com/lien_louwagie/Subscribe to see more inspiring videos: https://www.youtube.com/c/petersnauwaertShare this video with a YouTuber friend: https://youtu.be/I15NymYb7LA Leave your email address at http://www.psgrow.com and receive a weekly update when the new episode is availableYou find this episode also as audio podcast:Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/54qQcaiEWYYfILU6jWHJHsiTunes: https://podcasts.apple.com/be/podcast/ps-grow/id1500180608Support your podcast via Patreon https://www.patreon.com/psgrow?fan_landing=true or WhyDonate https://whydonate.nl/donate/PSGROW/enIk gebruik Willow, een Belgische software om alle social media posts op Twitter, Facebook, Instagram en LinkedIn te posten. Burnout and exhaustion are terms that most of us have become all too acquainted with, especially after the trials of 2020. We know the signs too well; irritability, sleeplessness, loss of vision - but do we know how to effectively address them? And more importantly, do we know when we need to pause and seek help? This episode is a candid exploration of these questions, with insights from our special guest, Wes Butler. Together, we unpack the importance of self-awareness and holistic evaluation, using the metaphor of an EKG (Evaluate Everything, Kill What's Killing You, and Grow What's Good). We delve into the concept of 'vampire power' - those sneaky energy-drainers that lurk in our daily lives - and how identifying these is the stepping-stone to implementing necessary changes. But it's not all about the negatives. Wes shares how to grow what's good in our lives and find time for things that bring us joy and health. And finally, we shed light on the often-overlooked spiritual dimension of burnout. We explore biblical principles of confession and repentance, illuminating how these can pave the path to healing and freedom.Keep Moving Mountains! || Connect with Us || Check out all our episodes on all major streaming platforms, and further engagement with the 17Twenty crew on social media at:https://17twenty.buzzsprout.com/https://www.linkedin.com/company/17twentyhttps://www.instagram.com/17twentypodcastGrab your copy of the Mountain Mover Manual: How to Live Intentionally, Lead with Purpose, and Achieve Your Greatest Potential, by Kevin CareyOriginally in print:https://amzn.to/441OPeHAnd now available on Audible:https://adbl.co/45YIKB2

Weekly Challenge KNOW: Read Luke 23. Think about how this relates to your life. How is God speaking to you through this passage? GROW: What are the challenges you are facing today? Take time to think about the things within and outside of your control. Pray about how you can give up the things you can't control and leave those to God. OVERFLOW: How can you bless someone around you? Maybe it's sharing a word of encouragement to friends or family? Helping someone get groceries they need? Sharing some toilet paper or hand sanitizer? Pray about how you can bring a glimmer of hope to someone else this season. Pray!
Weekly Challenge: KNOW: Read Luke 22:66-23:25. How do you relate to this passage? GROW: What makes it hard for you to follow Jesus? Who is Jesus to you? Is He Lord & Savior? OVERFLOW: Take some time this week to consider what it cost Jesus to die unjustly. How does this impact your life?
Weekly Challenge: KNOW: Read Luke 22:39-53. What moves your heart the most about this passage? GROW: What is your prayer of Gethsemane (olive press)? The prayer that you have been praying so hard for many years but have not seen the answer yet. Remember that Jesus is with you as you continue to pray. OVERFLOW: Read Colossians 1:13-14. Our story does not end when darkness reigns. Whom can you encourage this week with God's rescue?
This week Pastor Tobi takes us through Luke 18 and tells us about a hero that is even better than “Anpanman”! Weekly Challenge KNOW: Read Luke 18:31-43. What does this passage teach you about Jesus Christ, our healer and savior? GROW: What may be distracting you from encountering Jesus more fully? Busyness? False expectations? People's opinions? Etc. What do you want Jesus to do for you? OVERFLOW: Without seeking any praise, what sacrifice can you make this week to bless someone in need? May be it's a financial sacrifice. Or sacrificing your time to intentionally listen to someone's story. Perhaps sacrificing your energy as a volunteer to make someone's life a little bit better, etc.

If you would like to give online you can go to www.chjoplin.org/give Pray: Have you ever struggled with that question: "How you walk "The Way" when every other way seems better and easier? Express your honest frustration and deepest fears to God in your prayers this week, being transparent about your struggle to follow Jesus. Speak: Who do you know that has walked "The Way" of following Jesus? Who do you respect that can be a helpful guide and role model for you as you walk the way? Speak to them this week, thank them for their life of faithfulness to following Jesus. Grow: What does it look like for you to "walk the way today"? How can you follow Jesus today in a practical way before you go to sleep tonight? Love: One of the best ways to follow Jesus and walk the way today is to love someone by showing them compassion. What can you do today to show compassion to someone around you?
Pray: Who is God to you? Ask the Lord to reveal to you this week in your prayers how you actually view him. Speak: Share the reasons why you trust God with someone else. Ask yourself, do I just trust him blindly? Why do I trust him that he is love and that his commands are guiding me into the right path of love? Grow: What "spirits of the age" have you gotten caught up with? Are there elements of our current culture that are beginning to see conflict with God as the guide of love? Love: How is the God of love guiding you into the life of love? How are you looking out for someone else's best interests even though it might cost you dearly?
Pray: Sy asked the question that so many of us ask: “Who is God to me when I am nothing to Him?” Do you struggle with this question? Have you struggled with this question in your time of need? Pray and ask the Lord to reveal himself to you in the midst of your needs. Speak: The obstacle of feeling forgotten when we are in a season of obscurity is an opportunity that God uses to break down four tough membranes of our heart: (1) Pride; (2) Fear; (3) Resentment; (4) Habit. Which one of these is God breaking down in your life right now? Share this with a trusted friend, family member, or brother and sister in Christ in order to walk alongside you as you work through this season of growth. Grow: What is keeping you in your time of need to believe these four statements: (1) I am here by God’s appointment; (2) I am in His keeping; (3) I am under His training; (4) He will show me His purposes in His time. Love: How can you develop new habits that overcome your ego in order to love people who you are currently afraid to love?
This week Pastor Phil took us through an account of who John the Baptist was. John was known as a the one who would prepare the way for the messiah. He called people to repentance and baptism. Weekly Challenge KNOW: Read Luke 3:1-20. Consider what John is encouraging the people to turn away from. GROW: What do you think John would call you to turn from? OVERFLOW: Serve someone this coming week. Or commit to intentionally serve in the near future. Remember that repentance is a call to act.
Pastor Tobi closes our “Hungry” series with a timely sermon on the final chapters of Romans. Weekly Challenge KNOW: Read Romans 15:14 to end of chapter 16. What challenge do you receive? What are the names of people that have influenced your faith? GROW: What do we need to put on hold so that we can better live out the Christian mission of love God, love people, make disciples of all nations? OVERFLOW: Where have we lost our hunger? Ask God to renew the hunger for more of God in your life and do one thing that will help bring back the hunger.
We are continuing in our series called “Hungry”, a study through the book of Romans, with this message from Pastor Phil about how we live out our faith. Weekly Challenge KNOW: Read Romans 12-13. Consider Paul's call to live out our faith for Christ. GROW: What is the “therefore” in your life? What history do you have with God? And what motivates you to love others? Pastor Tobi continues in our study of Romans by looking at Romans chapter 3 & 4. Weekly Challenge KNOW: Read Romans 3-4. What new discovery did you have about FAITH? GROW: What challenges do you face in keeping your FAITH in JESUS? How can our church community help you grow in your FAITH? OVERFLOW: Is there a worry or concern that is occupying your heart now? Surrender (give it up) to JESUS and let Him fill you with fresh hope that comes through having faith in Him alone.
Pastor Tobi leads us into Esther 6 where we see the dangers of celebrating too soon and the dangers of being selfishness. Weekly Challenge KNOW: Read Esther 6 and Psalms 103. What assurance do we receive from God? GROW: What areas do you need to trust in God more? How can you grow in your trust in God who has the best interest for you? OVERFLOW: Where do you need victory in your life? Pray for victory and deliverance this week!
Dust and Paul have a conversation about suffering, on Wednesday of “Holy Week” (the week before Easter that includes Maunday Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday). Our leader knows the destination, but we don’t always see it clearly. The challenge is walking with Him and letting Him direct our walk. Paul shares a story from his youth about trying to avoid suffering. “If you could go back to that 15 year-old Paul, what would you say to him?” I would be there, listen, look for connections between faith and suffering, encourage him to “keep walking.” The mark of a real leader: Face your suffering, don’t go around it, go through it, with Him. Psalm 139 as a “way-sign” for the walk as a suffering leader. “God knows, and He still loves me.” Suffering can be like a scalpel in the hands of the Great Surgeon to help repair me. Question to Grow: “What is the suffering in my life today?"
