It's Friday, April 25th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Nigerian Muslims have killed 170 Christians during Lent and Easter Nigerian Muslims killed 170 Christians during the Lenten season and on Easter Sunday in Nigeria's Middle Belt region, reports International Christian Concern. In Benue State, 72 Christians were confirmed dead following a series of deadly attacks by suspected Fulani Muslim militants between April 18 and April 20. They struck multiple villages in Ukum and Logo Counties during the Holy Weekend, turning what should have been a time of solemn reflection and worship into a scene of terror. Governor Hyacinth Alia, who visited the affected areas, described the massacre as “a calculated and strategic attack on innocent Christian farmers.” He also said, “These were peaceful people observing their Holy Weekend. The scale and timing of the violence is heartbreaking. We cannot continue like this.” Please pray Amos 5:24 -- that “God's justice would roll on like a river.” Massive Russian strike on Ukraine's capital On Thursday night, Russia attacked Kyiv, Ukraine with an hours-long barrage of missiles and drones, killing at least eight people and injuring more than 70 in its deadliest assault on the Ukrainian capital since last July, reports CBS News. The Ukrainian Air Force said Russia fired 66 ballistic and cruise missiles, four plane-launched air-to-surface missiles, and 145 Shahed and decoy drones at Kyiv and four other regions of Ukraine. On Truth Social, President Donald Trump wrote, "I am not happy with the Russian strikes on Kyiv. Not necessary, and very bad timing. Vladimir, STOP! 5,000 soldiers a week are dying. Let's get the Peace Deal DONE!" TRUMP: “We're putting a lot of pressure on Russia, and Russia knows that, and some people that are close to it know or he wouldn't be talking right now.” In response to Russia's aggressive strikes in Western Ukraine, NATO has heightened its alert level, placing fighter jets in the "highest state of readiness," reports The Express. Former Brazilian president in ICU Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro's health condition has worsened following bowel surgery nearly two weeks ago, his doctors said Thursday, reports MSN.com. The medical team said the former president “experienced a clinical decline, elevated blood pressure and worsening liver lab test results." Bolsonaro underwent a 12-hour surgery on April 13 to remove intestinal adhesions and reconstruct the abdominal wall after the assassination attempt by stabbing in the abdomen during a campaign rally in September 2018. Democrat Senator Dick Durbin, a pro-abort, will not seek re-election Democrat Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois made an announcement on Wednesday, DURBIN: “There comes a point in your career when the torch must be passed, and I've reached that point. I will not be seeking re election to this United States Senate seat.” To his shame, Senator Durbin, age 80, has consistently voted to eliminate or prevent protections for the unborn and for children born alive after failed abortions. In addition, Senator Durbin has voted to use hard-earned tax dollars to pay for abortion, including abortion travel expenses. And he has worked to allow radical abortion ideology to be inserted into every facet of the United States Government. Illinois July 4th parade shooter sentenced to life in prison On Thursday, Robert Crimo III, the gunman who killed seven people and injured dozens in a mass shooting in Highland Park, Illinois, during a July 4th parade in 2022, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, reports ABC News. Judge Victoria Rossetti sentenced Crimo, age 24, to seven consecutive life sentences along with 50 years in prison for each person injured, Judge Rosetti said, "This court hopes this sentence brings a sense of justice and an end to the continued horror." However, the judge ignored God's just standard articulated in Genesis 9:6 which says, “Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for in the image of God has God made mankind." Max Lucado got a tattoo Max Lucado, the Christian bestselling writer and pastor of Oak Hills Church in San Antonio, Texas, took to social media to announce he got a tattoo, reports MyChristianDaily.com. Located on his forearm, he chose the word “Tetelestai” which is Greek for “It is finished!” That is what Jesus uttered from the cross when He had paid our sin debt, according to John 19:30. Lucado said, “I'm celebrating the golden anniversary of God's great grace in my life. 50 years ago this spring, grace found me. My testimony is interwoven with my favorite word in the Bible. On the cross, Christ proclaimed, in Greek, “Tetelestai!” Among the meanings of this word is, ‘paid in full'.” He added, “Not everyone likes the idea of a 70-year-old pastor getting a tattoo. That's ok. I didn't do it for people, I did it to say thank you to Jesus who paid a debt I could not pay.” However, Leviticus 19:28 says, “Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD.” How “In God We Trust” became American motto And finally, on April 22, 1864, the United States informally adopted the motto "In God We Trust." Conceived during the Civil War, Union supporters wanted to emphasize their attachment to God and to boost morale. The fourth stanza of the U.S. national anthem "The Star-Spangled Banner", adopted from the 1814 poem "The Defense of Fort McHenry", contains the line: "And this be our motto—'In God is our trust.'" “In God We Trust” was officially adopted by Congress in 1956, replacing the defacto motto of “E Pluribus Unum” which is Latin for “Out of Many, One.” Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Friday, April 25th, in the year of our Lord 2025. Join us as we learn what it means to become HOLY through a life with God. Presented by Pastor Emeritus, Kenton Beshore, live from Sendero Field on Sunday October 18 at 9a. Message notes: Why holy? …Day after day and night after night they keep on saying, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty—the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come." Revelation 4:8 Celebration of holiness Holiness means… • God is King…holy The Lord is king! Let the nations tremble! He sits on his throne…Let the whole earth quake! The Lord sits in majesty…exalted above all the nations. Let them praise your great and awesome name. Your name is holy! Psalm 99:1-3 • God is just…holy Mighty King, lover of justice, you have established fairness. You have acted with justice and righteousness throughout Israel. Exalt the Lord our God! Bow low before his feet, for he is holy! Psalm 99:4-5 • God is faithful…holy Moses and Aaron were among his priests; Samuel also…They cried to the Lord for help, and he answered them. He spoke to Israel from the pillar of cloud, and they followed the laws and decrees he gave them. O Lord our God, you answered them. You were a forgiving God to them…Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy mountain in Jerusalem, for the Lord our God is holy! Psalm 99:6-9 Mediators, His presence, His Word Forgiveness The Passover Exodus 12 The Day of Atonement Leviticus 16 “We die in God’s presence or God dies in our presence.” What holiness means to us We have been made holy …He made you holy by means of Christ Jesus, just as he did for all people everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours… God has united you with Christ Jesus….Christ made us right with God; who he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin. 1 Corinthians 1:2,30 To live holy Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14 Worship a holy God And instantly I was in the Spirit, and I saw a throne in heaven and someone sitting on it...Day after day and night after night they keep on saying, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty—the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come."…they lay their crowns before the throne and say, "You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased."…Then I saw a scroll…Who is worthy to break the seals on this scroll and open it?" But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll and read it…“…Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah…has won the victory. He is worthy to open the scroll and its seven seals." Then I saw a Lamb that looked as if it had been slaughtered…And when he took the scroll…they sang a new song with these words: "You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it. For you were slaughtered, and your blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. And you have caused them to become a Kingdom of priests for our God. And they will reign on the earth." Then I looked again, and I heard the voices of thousands and millions of angels around the throne and of the living beings and the elders. And they sang in a mighty chorus: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered—to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing.” Revelation 4:2,8,10,11; 5:1-3,5,6,8-12

Here is my write up for the show today. I hope we all understand its true significance. God revealed to me today the submission of a son motivated by an indescribable love for His people. I just realized this was the sacrifice of a son. Praise be to The King of Kings & Lord of Lords as we celebrate the resurrection power of Jesus Christ, true & only son of God this Holy Weekend:as we celebrate His resurrection for our salvation. This has really made me think about the sacrifice of a son. As you all know, I miss and love my father dearly and, although unimaginable, I hope I would make the same sacrifice although I am an insignificant spec compared to the authority of Jesus Christ. Praise Be To His Holiness. 04/19/2019 EASTER Edition Jesus Christ, King of kings, Lord of Lords & Almighty God came to earth in the flesh to save us from our sins. He is the Master of the universe and lowered himself to the level of a man, giving up all of His heavenly authority to endure the hardest and harshest abuse and torture of any man in history-able to endure a beating beyond beatings because of His fleshly purity. He sacrificed His place in the heavens to defeat Lucifer in His own domain based on some unknown covenant or “pact” that the God of the Universe had made with Lucifer. Jesus Christ sacrificed His position and the heir of His sonship of the creator of the universe. God-through His son Jesus Christ-Sacrificed it all for the forgiveness of our sins. He submitted ALL of His universal and heavenly authority to tolerate the most extreme torture, death by crucifixion on the cross, burial in a tomb and 3 days later, the most magnificent event in world history-His complete resurrection. Praise God for Jesus Christ His son, who sacrificed himself WILLINGLY to endure mans shame and disgrace. He descended into the pits of hell which He says exist somewhere below us within the earth, He stole the keys from hell and hades and came back to life as the atoning propitiation of our sins. Because of this unfathomable sacrifice, not only did Jesus Christ show us the ultimate sacrifice, obedience and submissive commitment as The True & Only Son of God, He made the redemption of our sins possible. Without this sacrifice, all of our sins would be accounted for and result in an eternity spent in hell with the devil and his demons. The greatest story and act of true attrition ever told. Jesus Christ endured it all and, according to John 15:13 that: John 15:12-13 NASB 12 "This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. 13 "Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. Praise be to the Almighty on this Holy celebration of His weather burial and resurrection this Easter Sunday. How fortunate are we who know Him as our personal savior and for those who do not, a simple prayer of contrition, admitting that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God Romans 3:23-25 (NASB) 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; 25 whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. [This was] to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; Submit yourselves to the Lord in repentance, call for His forgiveness, and you will be forgiven and redeemed, becoming a member of His royal family, Sinless in His eyes, an heir of His Holy Kingdom and saved from the fiery pits of Hell in addition to becoming a recipient of His never ending grace, Love & Forgiveness. Thank You Jesus for leaving your heavenly realm of authority and majesty to save this fallen and broken race of humans who have abandoned your plans of purity and holiness. No greater gift of sacrifice has been, could be or will be ever made. Praise Be To God. Kevin Wolter

We've arrived! In more ways than one and tuning into this episode, you'll soon find out why. For the past few episodes, we've been diving into the spiritual work that accompanies expansion and before we dive into Part III today, let's talk about expansion in general. Why do we do this work? If expanding into our best selves were easy, there wouldn't be a need for spiritual development or personal development. There wouldn't be a need for life coaches or therapists or personal trainers or any other type of professional that guides us through change. As I mentioned in Part II, change is hard. We cha-cha forward and cha-cha back. And simply living through this limbo phase of change is challenging enough on it's own. The contrast here is palpable. We deeply feel the gap between who we want to become and the ways we are working on getting there, often times feeling as though we're coming up short. This contrast becomes such a new normal for us that we gradually grow accustomed to this new level of conscious effort we put forth to become someone new. It's so gradual that we often don't realize when this effort starts to taper off and we find ourselves in this new, new normal of simply being this new version of ourselves, which is why I want to take you back to where this series all began - sitting in the river after Wild & Holy Weekend.... In today's Clarity episode we're talking about something I'm super curious to learn more about: in-person retreats with your customers! Megan Hale is the host of Wild & Holy Weekend. Here's how she describes it: "Wild & Holy Weekend is a unique experience for 10 women to gather around a fire, celebrate our power, break bread, and dive into the pure truths of our souls while embracing the concept that we can be both scared and ready, unsure and certain, still evolving and confident."Megan's recent inaugural W&H Weekend was a total success -- she sold every single spot. But before that... she tried to host an in-person event, and it completely flopped. So today, Megan is letting us peek behind the curtain in order to show us what went wrong, what she changed and how Wild & Holy Weekend has become the definition of Meaningful Work for her. In this Clarity episode, you'll hear: The flop of Megan's first in person event (why it flopped, and what went wrong)What she changed in her process & in herself for the second time around (which led to selling out!)How to create an emotional connection to an event, leading customers to click "buy" All about marketing an in-person retreat: when to start & how to do it in order to sell outHow to make your customers feel awesome -- not pressured -- during a sales process Show notes:Wild & Holy Weekend

In this Courage episode, you'll hear: How Megan made the crazy decision to close her successful podcast & start overWhat spirituality can teach us about business How to get out of your own way and let the process guide you (hint: it feels AMAZING)How to tap into the feeling that you've already arrived at your goalWhat to do to resolve discomfort, fear and anxiety, in business & in life SHOW NOTES: Megan's websiteWild & Holy RadioWild & Holy Weekend

She’s the podcast host of The Enoughness Revolution, a conversation on creating joy in life, work, and love, and the creator of Wild and Holy Weekend, a biannual transformative retreat for women ready to reconnect with who they are, what they want, and take action that honors their soul. She’s a mother, wife, die-hard foodie, and eternal seeker of building trust in ourselves and trust in God as we ebb and flow with life’s magic. She lives in San Antonio, TX, with her husband, son, and two dogs. Quotes from Megan We know the edges of our comfort zone. Bravery is pushing those edges and stepping over them—and it’s going to be different for all of us. So you can’t compare your bravery to my bravery, your bravery to anybody else’s bravery because we all have different edges. We all have different comfort zones. We all have different dreams. (8:18) Anytime we’re overwhelmed, it takes our power away. My first piece for me is managing overwhelm, and it’s taken me a long time to do that for myself. The things that have helped me is I only think in increments of three days at a time if I have a lot going on. Because if I think to next week or next even two weeks from now, it’s too much time for me to manage cognitively. And I also usually have only three big goals on my plate at a time. If you haven't checked out Part I, go listen to that one first as this episode builds off of the groundwork we laid talking about paradigm shifts. We wrapped up that episode with a small, yet mighty statement that actually leads us perfectly into today's spiritual shift that you may have totally missed because I didn't draw much attention to it. I said paradigm shifts change the way you think and feel about everything. And that's where we're heading today. The next type of Spiritual Shift that accompanies expansion is what I like to call TFD Shifts. For complete show notes, head to megan-hale.com.
This episode is brought to you by Wild and Holy Weekend, an intimate TX retreat for women ready to be their fullest expression. Join me this September for an unforgettable weekend to hear your own wisdom, take a courageous leap forward, and expand into your next evolution of self! Find out more by visiting wildandholyweekend.com. Hey, hey, soul seeker! I know if we're friends, we must have similar interests and passions. You're probably not content living a purposeless life. You want to experience more and feel more than the average human, but more so, you want to challenge yourself to expand into your potential, your impact, and your capacity for love, positivity, vulnerability, and faith. Because of that, I wanted to talk about several phases of our journeys that allow us to do just that. And more specifically, we're tapping into a phenomena that I witnessed at the most recent Wild & Holy Weekend. The more I've thought about how we actually expand into a new version of ourselves, I've really been doing some reflecting on my own life as to when the three spiritual shifts I'm going to be sharing with you today have shown up for me. After all, these three types of spiritual shifts most definitely have an order/sequence, but they definitely do NOT have any type of expiration date meaning we continue to go through these types of shifts as long as we're on our personal journey of self-exploration and spiritual growth. Why did I feel so called to talk about this? As we were sitting in the river after our closing ceremony of Wild & Holy Weekend, one of my clients (and retreaters) mentioned to me that she wished she would have come to something like this when she was a bit earlier on in her spiritual journey. Her reasoning? She felt like it would have been even more impactful of showing her what's possible. Instead of feeling this huge monumental internal shift, she felt as though no big, life altering change had really happened until I shared with her what I'm going to share with you! After all, not all spiritual shifts have the same quality. Some feel like huge waves of aha's that totally rock us to our core while others seem like such a gradual next step in our own personal evolution that they can indeed go by completely unnoticed if you're not careful. And it's actually this last particular type of spiritual shift that is the MOST important. It's the reason we work so hard to begin with. So, on today's episode, I wanted to talk about these three types of spiritual shifts, the expansion they create for us, and why all three are equally important to our own personal growth and evolution. You ready? For complete show notes, visit Megan-Hale.com. I'd love for you to take a few moments to leave a quick review on iTunes. I've detailed the "how to" right here (complete with pictures)! We're going all the way in this Monday morning, y'all and I'm peeling back some layers on transgenerational family patterns, in particular, my own! My mom is in town, which has given me such a great opportunity to gain more perspective on my own family patterns. In today's episode, I talk about how to challenge our own stories, the reality of truth, the way we give meaning to life events, and the power we can reclaim for ourselves when we choose to look through a different lens. BUT, perhaps one of the most powerful tools I talk about today is how to manage defensiveness. And this one is SUPER important! Tune in. I'm sure it will pull up a lot for you, which I'd love to hear about in the comments. Did this episode open your eyes on anything you've carrying? Lastly, there are 2 spots left for Wild and Holy Weekend and the price goes up TODAY! BUT, because I love you, I'm extending the Early Bird Rate to 7 pm CST tonight. To get the Early Bird price though, you have to email me to get a coupon. If you're ready to reclaim your real truths, release your non-truths, and express yourself fully in the world, then join me June 16th-18th in New Braunfels, TX for a delicious, magical, powerful weekend
It's Transformational Thursday, Sisters and I could think of no better way to approach today's transformation than by speaking of my own. Today Brax turns 11 months, which means we're just shy of a year. A year of huge transition and change and some deep lessons on being flexible and opening myself to receive. Wow! So much came up for me during today's episode. I simply want to start with a big "thank you" for being along this journey with me, for trusting me to hold space for you and the people you love, for continuing to share the podcast and bring others into our community. Did you know we're adding 500 new subscribers every single month? That's because of you! In today's episode, I talk about my biggest lessons I've learned this year and how they've showed up in my personal and professional life. They're good ones! And as a friendly reminder, there are only 4 spots left at Wild and Holy Weekend and the price goes up on Monday. If this has been calling to you, the time is now to buy your ticket! All details can be found here. Have a magical, powerful, beautiful weekend, Sister! Sending you so much love for the path you're actively co-creating with the Divine!
I'm fresh back from my first weekend away from my son since he was born and I'm happy to report that everything was GREAT! Sure, it was a pain to drag the breast pump along, but it was great for all involved to have some time away and to switch things up. And there's always a first for everything. This weekend offered me some powerful reflection for how easy it is to lose pieces of ourselves in our relationships even when they're well meaning and healthy. It was a big aha for me to notice how I'd let one tiny little facet of myself go over the past few years and I came home knowing I wanted to reclaim that for myself. So, I'm passing on this wisdom to you because if there's one thing I know, the one place it's easiest to lose ourselves, it's in our relationships. And it starts with small things, like picking up certain mannerisms from the people we surround ourselves with to big things like trading in our dreams to for other dreams that better fit with our life partner. Today, I'm sharing how we maintain our sense of self in our relationships with some reflective activities for you. And I'm also making a BIG announcement! Wild and Holy Weekend only has 6 more spots and there are only 6 more days left to take advantage of the Early Bird Rate. If you're feeling called to reclaim pieces of who you are and release the things that are insulting your soul, I really want you to join me. Wild and Holy [inaguaral] Weekend is going to be magical, powerful, and soulful. Come join me for a weekend away sure to reconnect you with who you are and how to express that boldly in the world. I can't wait to welcome you to TX. If you're a HELL YES and want to buy your ticket NOW, visit this link that will take you straight to PayPal. If you want to read more about this dreamy, soulful, delicious weekend I've planned for you, visit this link to learn more about the retreat. I'll see you on Thursday for another Transformational episode, but tell me a small facet you're going to pull out of the closet and try back on this week. Put it in the comments so I can check back in with you and see how it goes! Have a magical start to your week, Sister! Believing in you always
It's Transformational Thursday, Sisters and after a heavy episode on Monday, I've had a bit of a vulnerability hangover and have been sitting with why I felt we needed to go there. But as I was preparing for today's episode, it hit me. Ahhhh, we had to go there on Monday so we could go here today. So on today's episode, I'm bringing it back to why we do this work- so we can learn to hear our truth over all the noise that's out there in the world and over the self-doubt our insecurities create for us. In this episode, we're diving into the nature of our soul and how it speaks to us, how we reclaim the truth that lives within us, how we reclaim our wildness by leaning into trust and faith, and how we release the non-truths to live by our real truths! This is a good one! Mentioned in this episode: How we learn to overcome the battle between who our ego thinks we need to be and who our soul knows we're capable of being. How we battle back against our self-doubt by using the gift of contrast. How we align ourselves with our wildness by shifting our mindset and deepening into allowing vs. control. Learning to be a WILD VINE and trust the process. How we shift our view of God to seek more self-compassion. How we use self-compassion to hear the voice of our soul. Releasing the non-truths through burning rituals and physically shaking them out and return them to the Earth. If you're feeling called to release non-truths and reclaim your REAL TRUTHS, I'd love to invite you to Wild and Holy Weekend, a beautiful retreat for 10 women who are ready to experience more LIGHT, LOVE, and LIBERATION. Join me for a unique retreat blending movement and ritual, connection and expansion, truth telling and brave action to be your fullest expression. And yes, there will be TX sized hugs and tacos! All retreat info can be found here. Tickets are on sale now. You can save $50 by purchasing your ticket by May 1st! Included in your ticket is beautiful lodging and delicious meals, a personalized Qoya class by my friend, Rachel Anzalone, plus a weekend of being seen, heard, loved, and supported! I am SO excited! Purchase your ticket here for $325! I'll see you in a few days for another Motivational Monday. Have a beautiful, wild, and holy weekend
