John Houston is Founder and CEO of the JH Family of Companies, CEO of John Houston Custom Homes, Speaker, and Author of Finding My Way Home. Topics in this episode: Tell us a little bit about yourself and your book, Finding My Way Home. In the beginning of the book, you write about the irony of being a homebuilder. Tell us about your childhood situation and why you felt unqualified to build homes for families. You often use the phrase “live by love.” What does that mean to you? You and your brother lived on your own, starting at the ages of 11 and 15. Tell us about what that was like—how you survived, got to school, worked, and stayed out of trouble.
