This week Joe, Jason and Liam are joined by Jason Maloney to look back at a shocking performance at Ibrox. It ain't pretty, but we soldier on.
We talk Tolka Park, last Friday and 37 years ago as it's part 2 of our 1980's special with Jason Maloney and Jim Conroy on KRAM, the boycotts and everything in between for those three years.
It's the TFTES Christmas show and last episode of the year as our guests Jason Maloney and Jim Conroy pick their most memorable games from the original four-in-a-row, in the first part of a 1980s special recorded at the Four Provinces.
For this week's Small Business Shoutout we are featuring SoCal artist Jason Maloney. Jason began making art as early as five years old! His inspiration came from PoP Art, '80s skateboard graphics and arcade video games. For ten years he works for Disney as a Scenic Artist, working on projects like remodeling of the Haunted Mansion. Jason just finished up his own interpretation of the Gary & Shannon logo
Another obscenely long show but there was an international break catch-up, our 70s Show reaction and finally a win to talk about, and an emphatic one at that at Oriel Park. Lee Grace, Dylan Watts and Darragh Nugent tackle our quiz qualifying round at Roadstone and from the 2 hour mark, there's a club supporters' teams and Dalymount Park theme to the TFTES Hotline, since it's derby week, featuring Pat Tutty, Paul Kavanagh, Neil Prendergast, Noel O'Brien, Wooly and Tommy Kelly, plus a bonus replay of Jason Maloney and Mick Conroy's memories of Duisburg '97. Elfmeter!

A year into its fight to overturn a military coup that forced Myanmar's democratically-elected leaders from power, the Burmese civilian resistance movement is being driven by its younger members, who are harnessing the power of social media. According to Alberta Health minister Jason Maloney, there are fourteen schools in Alberta that have been granted school-wide exemptions from wearing masks, but the province will not reveal the names of these schools. According to interviews done by CBC News, some schools have faced pressure from parents on the topic of masks in schools, with some parents complaining that children who have mask exemptions are not being treated fairly during school. Masks are required for students in Alberta in grades four and up, and are recommended for children in kindergarten to grade three. The president of the Alberta Teachers' Association stated that the unavailability of details about how the province decides if entire schools can be exempt from masks adds to the stress and confusion of managing schools during the pandemic, as many schools are doing different things. It's been nearly a year since a military coup rolled back Myanmar's fragile democratic progress. With few international efforts for help, citizens at home and abroad have soldered on to fight for their rights. Celtic Soul Podcast Episode 68 with More than 90 Minutes, Editor Andrew Milne chatting to Jason MaloneyIf football teams were people then Jason Maloney would be married to Shamrock Rovers but he would also keep Celtic as a Mistress and would enjoy the occasional fling on football weekends around Europe on his many travels over many years. Jason could be described as a Terrace Anorak, who enjoys the whole football experience and not just the 90 minutes on the terrace. He is also the former editor of the Shamrock Rovers Fanzine – the Glenmalure Gazzette. The interview kicks off with Jason talking about how he suffered recently with Covid19 and he had a word or two for the conspiracy theorists before the conversation turns to Celtic and the season we have just witnessed as we stumbled from one crisis to another in a season where there seemed to be no plan B. . Jason chats to Andrew about manager in waiting Eddie Howe's CV from his time at Bournemouth including some decent signings he made along with a few bad ones. The bhoys shoot the breeze about Scott Brown's time at Celtic and the improvement we saw when Brendan Rodgers arrived. Many buses and trips to see Celtic were discussed including many in Europe with the Gallowgate Travel Club before the conversation turns to Shamrock Rovers, Fan Ownership and the recent 2 million euros investment in the club by Dermot Desmond.Jason also shares some great stories of his travels to see different teams abroad including St. Pauli and how big a part football culture plays in his life and how much he is missing the whole fan experience. No Celtic Soul Podcast would be complete without the guest climbing into the Time Machine and Jason travels back to 1998 when Celtic stopped the 10. Today we bring to the mic an old friend of mine Dominick Greico of @adirondackflycompany. Find them on Instagram here. Dom is a terrific fly tier and his story is compelling. When he was much younger he had a brain tumor and part of his recovery left him with some tremors in his hand. Fly Tying was just the answer to learn his dexterity. Little did he know that years later after the kids grew up a bit and he had some free time again, he would re-visit fly tying and become what I believe is a world renowned fly tyer. His flies are amazing and his story is even more wonderful. Listen to this podcast and check out his flies and his social media presence on Instagram and Facebook. Dom is an old friend of mine and it was great to connect with him. Thanks bud for taking the time to be on the show. Music by Jason Maloney. For decades, the balance of power between strong nations was the dominant issue in international security. But today, it is fragile nations that are seen by many as posing a potentially greater threat. Weak infrastructure, internal conflict, and lack of economic development provide fertile ground for trafficking, piracy, terrorism, nuclear proliferation, disease pandemics, regional tensions, and even genocide. As a result there is a growing movement in the international community to find comprehensive ways to promote stronger nations, and, more effective ways to deal with those that are already on the brink of failure. Award-winning journalists Kira Kay and Jason Maloney, co-founders of the Bureau for International Reporting, recently explored the successes and failures of international interventions in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, East Timor, Bosnia, and Haiti. In collaboration with the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, their series of reports aired on PBS NewsHour in 2009. Jon Sawyer, the Pulitzer Center founding director, will offer introductory remarks about its continuing print and broadcast coverage of fragile states from around the world. discuss how the power of ideas is shaping the future of Iran.
