He also won Canada's Checkmate International CCI3* three years in a row. He is a two-time Pan American Games team gold medalist and in 1993 was named Equestrian Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Olympic Committee. Stephen also won the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event in 1996 with Dr. Dolittle.
