Where today stands a charming tourist town, Jerome, Arizona was once the "wickedest town in America." Bordellos and saloons served up drinks and disease to the miners who frequented them. And when the mines inevitably became too much, the smelter spit them out with the trash - literally. Jerome's streets run red with blood, harboring memories of the past in every nook and corner. We'll uncover ghosts inside the Connor and Grand Hotel, formerly the United Verde Hospital. Elise provides her own on the ground research after enjoying an ooky spooky ghost tour inside Jerome's very own cemetery. Tune in to learn all about America's "first ghost city" and learn why Jerome holds a special place in Elise's heart. Happy Haunting!

In episode 89, we take two-day trips from Sedona, Arizona. This is part three of a series of podcasts recapping our travels to Camp Verde, Sedona, and nearby places in Arizona. Day Trips From Sedona We had two main destinations outside of Sedona during our travel to the area - Jerome Arizona and the Grand Canyon. Jerome Arizona Day Trip We booked the Jerome History Walk tour with the Jerome Ghost Tours company. The small group tour explored the once-booming mining history of the area, visiting key locations in town. We loved listening to stories about the old mining town, saloon escapes, and the rise and decline of Jerome. Book a Jerome History Walk Tour Here When in Jerome, we highly recommend The Clinkscale for dining. Our lunch there was fantastic! We started our day attending church at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in nearby Clarkdale, Arizona. After mass, we strolled the town, which offered a wonderful small-town America feel. Grand Canyon Railway Tour Our next day trip adventure was riding about The Grand Canyon Railway from Williams, AZ, to the Grand Canyon Village. The vintage train traveled through beautiful plains and canyons. We enjoyed the live entertainment including Wild West shoot-out before our ride, and musicians who serenaded us during the journey. If you haven't seen the Grand Canyon dusted with snow, it is quite a sight to see. Book a Grand Canyon Railway Ride Here Downtown Sedona Visit We also take a quick stop in Downtown Sedona for shopping, coffee, and browsing the art galleries at the Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village. Zane Grey RV Village Our week-long stay near Sedona was at the Zane Grey RV Village in Camp Verde. We provide a recap of this stay on today's episode. High in the hills overlooking Arizona's Verde Valley, a tiny town filled with history sits, like a mother bird over nesting over her eggs. Except this egg is a billion-dollar deposit of copper. And the mother bird - a brave and raucous mix of miners, smelter workers, freighters, gamblers, bootleggers, saloon keepers, prostitutes and preachers. This week, the mining town of Jerome, Arizona.

Alice interviews Kim Brasher, Paranormal Investigator. Kim moved from California when she fell in love with the Ghost Town of Jerome Arizona. She has been investigating for over 19 years. You can find Kim on Facebook...Kimberlee Brasher
Aaron Oakes In 2004 I saw a documentary called “Ghost Adventures” and it left an impression on me with all the evidence they captured. Ever since then, I knew that was what I wanted to do, and I was hooked on the idea of doing investigations myself. In 2010 I saw a casting call for Paranormal Challenge and as a group we submitted to be part of the show and was accepted. The show brought us to Jerome Arizona for the series finally where we had won the episode. In 2011 Jay became a part of that team, and in 2012 when that team had closed, we started our own team. In 2015 we had taken a break, that lead to doing some other investigations in 2017 that lead me to start Lone Wolf Investigations. In 2018 we got back together with Supernatural Serenity and haven’t looked back since, investigating under both Supernatural Serenity and Lone Wolf Investigations. Dan Box I have had many experiences throughout the years during my time in the military, living in various locations around the country, and the world. These experiences motivated meta explore the unexplained phenomena that lead me to Supernatural Serenity. Jay Wyrick I did my first “group” investigation at 19 years old but was short lived because I joined the military at 20. While serving, I would seek out all lore’s of the paranormal, leading to some incredible experiences in Asia and Texas. In 2007 I took a break from search and picked up reading on the occult and parapsychology again. In 2011 I was invited to be part of a group where I had met Aaron, later branching off to start Supernatural Serenity. After a break, we have come back together and in full effect to get the evidence that supports the history and experiences I had, had previously in life.
