PowerCast episode originally released May 9, 2017. Over the years we’ve had a handful of guests who had also appeared on the Joe Rogan’s podcast. Our guest, former UFC fighter Kyle Kingsbury, is one of those crossover guests. He’s also been on a number of the health and fitness podcasts in our segment, and since he’s basically been in our own backyard and training with Jesse Burdick at CSA in Dublin, CA. It’s kind of as surprise that we hadn’t had him on before. Kyle’s intensely interested in performance optimization, through diet and other means, as well as consciousness expansion. While we touched on those things, we mostly about his athletic background working with some of the strength coaches we’re very familiar with, breaking into fighting and appearing on Ultimate Fighter 8, as well as the ups and downs of being under contract with the UFC. We recorded this in March and Kyle has since moved to Las Vegas, but here’s hoping he’ll be back on the show again at some point because he was a fantastic guest.
